Lightroom :: How To Create Slideshow Full Of Photos With Native Aspect Ratio Of 3:2
Dec 2, 2013I'm using Lightroom 5.2 on a 27-inch iMac running Mavericks. I want to create a slide show full of photos with a native aspect ratio of 3:2 (from a Nikon D4 and a Nikon D800). I do NOT want the photos to be trimmed along the top and bottom, which is what happens when I choose "Zoom to fill frame" in the Slide Show module. I do NOT want letterboxing along the right and left edges of the photo, which is what I get if I don't choose "Zoom to fill frame" and just export the slide show using the "Export Video" button in the lower left of the Slide Show module. ("Export Video" gives me four choices for "Video Preset," but none of the four is a 3:2 aspect ratio.) I just want a slide show of uncropped 3:2 aspect ratio photos with no border around them whatsoever. Considering how many of the photos taken every day on this planet are still in the 3:2 aspect ratio, I find it hard to believe there isn't a way to do this.
If for some reason there is no way to create such a slide show in Lightroom, I have Creative Suite 5, iPhoto, and iMovie, but I don't want to buy any new software just for this.
Lightroom :: 5 - Next Slide In Slideshow In Full Screen Mode?
Sep 20, 2013I switched to lightroom 5. There is one change from 4, which I like to be undone and maybe there is a way to achive this via some setting. When I am in slide show mode with full screen the next and previous slide cannot be reached any longer by the left and right arrow. This used to be possible and it is very good if one wants to test a slide show without waiting for the next picture for 5 seconds (or whatever the delay is). It is also nice to have a quick possibility to have a look at the previous picture again.
Is there a way to reenable the arrow keys?

Jul 11, 2012Can I get Revit to extent to both screens, without having to manually adjust the size so it fits on one side, instead of both?
(Example: I want a floor plan on my left screen (maximized automatically to screen 1 (left), then a 3D view on the right as a reference (maximized automatically to screen 2 (right), to see what is going on instantly!).
I have a NVIDIA QUADRO 4000 installed with the latest driver.
If I have 2 screens. I want the amazing aspects of Revit to be used in creative and efficient ways...
Revit needs to fix it. After all Revit is the best tool man can ask for.
Photoshop Elements :: Manual Control Of GPS Coordinates And Location Tags
Mar 8, 2013I have just started exploring APE 11 and found one problem. I cannot control GPS coordinates and location tags when I use Add Places. Google maps does not always show correct place on map when address is entered, if I adjust the place on map manually, it either loses location tags or asumes that it is another address. Neither scenario is desired. What I would love to do is to be able to type coordinates and edit location tags (now only deletion is an option). API 11 does not allow to do what I want, is that correct?
I was thinking about doing some manipulation with *.pse11db file as it apperantly is SQLite database. Any example of SQL query that would
a) list all photos (their full file paths) for specified album and
b) SQL query that would allow to edit GPS coordinates and location tags for specified photo (its full file path)?

Jan 9, 2012Possible to control (i.e.: set up & check the current value) the drawing scale directly from the command bars, without having to get deep into the Options menu (which is really unpractical and slow).
Actually there is a "Drawing scale" icon, but it allows to choose only among a limited selection of values: if the required drawing scale is outside this range (which happens quite often in my job), there is no alternative from the Options way.Moreover, if the scale is not included into the above-mentioned selection of values, the icon will not show the set scale value, but only a totally useless "Custom" string.

Mar 7, 2012I must state that I am miffed that manual adjustment of C.A. has disappeared in LR4. This would have been easier to understand if some commonly used lenses that are not the latest release had profiles available. For example, I shoot the older version Nikkor Micro D 60mm and 105mm lenses for underwater photography. I built a preset to correct the C.A., which I now assume won't work. The automatic setting does not entirely remove it. Is there any way to deal with this aside from adding an extra step and editing CA in Photoshop (which doesn't do a great job of it, either)?

Aug 17, 2012I'm trying to create a photo slideshow DVD. I've used one of the instant project templates. Populated the placeholders and then dropped my photos into one of the video overlay tracks. I now want to increase the duration from 3s to 6s. I have tried doing so by dragging out the first clip to 6s and by double clicking and manually editing to 6s. The result is the same: I get 3s of random transition between that clip and the next.
What I want to do is create 6s photo clips with a transition between each clip. So, how do I increase the photo duration to be visible for 6s and how do I then drop a transition between all the clips? I don't want to add them manually as there are nearly 200 photos?

Feb 29, 2008I'm trying to create a full width photo layout using Photoshop or Fireworks CS3 and then end with Dreamwaver CS3 without the photo's being tall.
to create a flash site just like expo but at this point I would settle for a static photo with the same size being the same on each page.
Also I would like my site to be a liquid layout so the photo and everything else (text, Links etc) on the page flows correctly.
The size of the photo's they offer are
425 x 282 px (5.9" x 3.9")
849 x 565 px (11.8" x 7.8")
1698 x 1131 px (5.7" x 3.8")
I'm selecting horizontal photo's. I do not know how to match the same width, height and appearence as the websites I mentioned above.
If I choose a photo that fits the width then the length is too long. Also if I choose a large photo and have to crop it then most of the detail of the photo is lost.
I'm attempting to create a mock-up for my web in Fireworks CS3 and after search Adobe and www I came across the mock up should be 1004px which would end up being 1024 with vertical scroll bar and small margins.
I also have Photoshop & Flash CS3 but should mention (if you haven't already guess it by now) I am a rookie when it comes to creating a website.

Mar 24, 2012After doing everything i can find to optimize my hardware/software for doing 3D animation in Ps Ext CS6. I still cannot render an animation to video using the Ray Traced Final setting. (Ray Traced Draft, no problem.) The last time I tried (after repairing disk permissions), at least Ps did not crash and give me the same old crash report (Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV) Exception Codes: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS at 0x00000007a0020000). This time I just got an error msg that my request could not be completed. (Progress?) Checking Activity Monitor, I could see that my available RAM, which was 13 GB when I started the render was now less than 1 GB (761 MB).
So, I have come to the conclusion that my 16 GB of RAM and 300 GB available for virtual memory on my HD is not enough for rendering the type of 3D animation I am trying to do. Would you agree? Also, I have read it is not good to use the same HD your program is installed on for a scratch disk, so I am considering getting an external solid state drive to use as a scratch disk.
