I have a set of images that are all different, but tile nicely together. I would like to create a pattern (or similar) that I can use to fill an area using those images randomly selected. That is, they should all be aligned in a grid, but each tile of the grid should be chosen at random from one of the images. The purpose of this is to have a tiling that doesn't repeat, a la [URL] and, more generally, [URL]
Here are a few images from a set as an example of what I would like to randomly tile:
Of course I could place them manually, but I may need to fill an area with thousands of these, and even if I did place them by hand, it wouldn't be very flexible as far as reshaping/resizing the tiled area, etc.
Does Corel have a product that will enable me to create a slideshow with digital pictures, with a menu that will enable the viewer to select a particular group of slides to view. For example, I take a 5 day trip and take pictures each day. I want to create the slideshow with a menu to allow the viewer to select day 3, for example, and view only those pictures.
I'm going to make slideshow video using about 200+ photos. When I use old version of VS, it has "movie wizard" feature so that I can create a slideshow very quickly. Anyway to making a slideshow video using a lots of photos in VSx5?
I'm trying to create a photo slideshow DVD. I've used one of the instant project templates. Populated the placeholders and then dropped my photos into one of the video overlay tracks. I now want to increase the duration from 3s to 6s. I have tried doing so by dragging out the first clip to 6s and by double clicking and manually editing to 6s. The result is the same: I get 3s of random transition between that clip and the next.
What I want to do is create 6s photo clips with a transition between each clip. So, how do I increase the photo duration to be visible for 6s and how do I then drop a transition between all the clips? I don't want to add them manually as there are nearly 200 photos?
Slideshow Creation: I'd like to make a slideshow DVD for Xmas to give out. I've made a lot of movies with VS but never a slide show and in fact i've never created a slideshow in any program.
Is this possible in VS10 or would it be better to use DVDLab Pro for this? If VS10 is sufficient to do this (just a fairly basic slideshow NOT HD). I really can't grasp it from the Manual since it really isn't covered in detail there (or did i miss it?) I'm looking to see what types of photos/graphics files and what resolution as well as a HOW TO. I'm clueless about slideshow creation.
Audio DVD Creation:
I do seem to recall that i did this once in VS10 - or was this a dream? Is there any tutorial on this as well?
I'm trying to generate random billowy shapes (like cartoon clouds or bushes) by simply creating a shape and applying a some kid of brush/pattern/style/script/whatever to it and getting a look like in the below links.
The look I'm trying to achieve is visually simple: [URL] ....
I can easily draw those kinds of things by hand, however I want to be able to generate such shapes randomly.
Is such a thing possible? Are there existing brushes/patterns/styles/scripts that can pull this off? So far my search has come up with nothing, unless I'm searching wrong.
Generally I'm aware of what brushes and patterns can do, but as far as I can tell they always generate the same results each time you use them.
Perhaps a script can be made to do this?
Essentially a cloud could be drawn as a bunch of random circles grouped together, then all of them get merged into one shape.
I created a DVD with is made of video and and a slideshow. The slideshow works fine within VideoStudio but once burnt on the DVD it does not work, the music plays on a black screen. The rest of the footage works fine, what could have happened?
I put together some vacation photos in a slideshow. What is the difference in rendering them in "DVD Video" or "DVD Slideshow"? Don't they both do the same thing?
I am using VS x6 to provide a way to present family photos via slide shows. So far I have had success in doing so through Corel Discovery videos and YouTube tutorials.
My problem is that the photos do not "fill the screen:" which I am sure is due to the photos being different sizes to start with. I edit the photos with Corel PSP.
Is there a way to establish the optimum size in the VS project and then resize the photos in PSP for a consistent look in the slide show?
I have a collection of color groups, that I am applying to grouped objects, but every time I change out the color group, it randomizes the order which the colors are applied.
In the kind of bulk work I'm doing, its really turning into an hours burner.
The specific process I'm using (I've tried several different ways with the same result)
1) Draw my art 2) Group the art 3) Create a new color group with my art selected. 4) Double click the color group and recolor. 5) Save the swatches ----- so far so good 6) Double Click a different color group (or select from the Recolor panel) -- here the other color group (swatches) get applied, but every time I do it, the order of which color is applied to
I am making a DVD of a wedding and as part of a slide show of stills I want to download about 10 at a time and then display them 1 screen shot at a time .They are on a website that the groom raised for the occasion. They are around 2.34 MB jpegs each so they are small .I have X5 Ultimate and Paint Shop Pro X.
Basically I do a lot of dog rescue/foster stuff and doing videos (even if they are slide shows) of the dogs really get adopted. I am "ok" at doing a normal slide show. Here's a link for one I have already done
But, I would like to "spice" them up a little. One thing someone suggested was doing a slide show, like above, but having multiple pictures on the screen at once. For instance a picture appears in the Upper left, then upper right, then lower left, then lower right. So there are 4 pictures that are on the screen at the same time, but appear at different times. Like if you were showing some one snapshots and setting them on a table, with some covering up others.
Aspect ratio I am putting togeter a slideshow of photos I want it to be widescreen!
I have gone into settings/preferences/edit in the section for image I have "Keep Aspect Ratio"
After selecting some images dropping them into the timeline if I put them in the main track (top) the Aspect Ratio is keeped Now if I put the same images in any overlay track the Aspect Ratio is changed! Is there a way to have the Aspect Ratio keep when putting images in a overlay track or do I have to manually set Keep Aspect Ratio?
I've been playing around with the gradient map tool, and love the randomize and noise option to give me nice looking gradients for my images.... my question is, is there a way to "extract" or "split" the colors of the randomized map into its separate colors as if I was creating them manually with the "solid" option?
i just play around with GIMP and do some graphic works – in order to get familiar with GIMP .I want to create a image where i have some balls – in a randomized fashion -
can i tell G I M P that it draws colored balls in the field in such a randomized fashion -
Would you do it
1. drawing balls without color (defining a ball its certain size
2. defining the area where the ball is - within the whole field.
Bridge Output Web Gallery is great but it is Flash only and does not behave very well when using an iPad tell me if the later versions are able to create web galleries that will work well on the iPad?
There are a few cheap apps available but so far I've found them to be pretty crap; clunky to use and not fully customisable.
I am trying to create a slideshow in AutoCAD 2011, where each slide in my slideshow represents a week during a project. I am trying to follow the procedure noted in the online help section for writing a script to initiate the slideshow within AutoCAD. I created the slides as described in the online help manual (each slide is titled SLIDE#), and copied and pasted the following from the online help manual in order to get the script to run:
I then amended the script above to include the entirety of my slide library for my slideshow (total of 47 slides), and ran the script in AutoCAD. When I executed the SCRIPT command in AutoCAD, a slide (week) was being skipped during the slideshow. Even using the example script in the help section skips a week in my slideshow.
I am attaching the script that I created for my slideshow.
Can I CREATE a photo SLIDESHOW on Photoshop Elements 12 (for MAC)??Photoshop 9 does NOT have the feature,Also, can I burn such a project to Blu-Ray (I have Premeire 12 installed on my I-Mac).
I can't "disconnect" the original collection from the slideshow. Basically, I want to create a slideshow with half the pictures from the collection but I still need the collection to show the customer..Even though I have created a slideshow and a collection, if I flag one picture in either one, it flags it in the other.
I have created a slide show by Inserting Media file to Timeline, Insert Photos. I then Share, and then Create Video File. This is a great product, so easy. However I noticed that the time delay on each picture frame is about 3 seconds. I have manually increased each slide to 5 seconds using the slider on the timeline. But this is cumbersome. Is there a place to change this default 3 seconds to what I want in the software? I cannot find it.
Having recentl changed from Windows PC to iMac, and thus purchased Photoshop Elements 10, I now find that I cannot make a slideshow because there is no "Create Slideshow button" as shown on tutorials. Is this because it is an iMac? or am I missing something. Already having trouble getting JPG photos from Organiser into PSE 10.
I'm using CS6 13.0.4 x64. I want to create a very basic slideshow that includes both still images and video clips. I have read this is possible but can find no specifics.
I'm using Lightroom 5.2 on a 27-inch iMac running Mavericks. I want to create a slide show full of photos with a native aspect ratio of 3:2 (from a Nikon D4 and a Nikon D800). I do NOT want the photos to be trimmed along the top and bottom, which is what happens when I choose "Zoom to fill frame" in the Slide Show module. I do NOT want letterboxing along the right and left edges of the photo, which is what I get if I don't choose "Zoom to fill frame" and just export the slide show using the "Export Video" button in the lower left of the Slide Show module. ("Export Video" gives me four choices for "Video Preset," but none of the four is a 3:2 aspect ratio.) I just want a slide show of uncropped 3:2 aspect ratio photos with no border around them whatsoever. Considering how many of the photos taken every day on this planet are still in the 3:2 aspect ratio, I find it hard to believe there isn't a way to do this.
If for some reason there is no way to create such a slide show in Lightroom, I have Creative Suite 5, iPhoto, and iMovie, but I don't want to buy any new software just for this.
If there is a way I can create/save an image in VS 10 that I can use later on for cover art, etc. I tried to save a title as an image but I'm not doing something correctly.
When I create Blu Ray H264 (1920X1080) video clips in VS Pro X3, all files give me extensions *.mpg, and they can be played with my LG BD 570 player. However, When I create Blu Ray H264, 1920X1080 video clips in VS Pro X4, all files give me extensions *.m2t, and these video files can NOT be played with my LG BD 570 player.
Is there anyway I can create Blu Ray H264 (1920X1080) video files with extensions *.mpg in VS Pro X4? What is the difference between Blu Ray H264 (1920X1080) *.m2ts and Blu Ray H264 (1920X1080) * .mpg file?
