GIMP :: Drawing Colored Balls In Randomized Fashion - Doable
May 17, 2012
i just play around with GIMP and do some graphic works – in order to get familiar with GIMP .I want to create a image where i have some balls – in a randomized fashion -
can i tell G I M P that it draws colored balls in the field in such a randomized fashion -
Would you do it
1. drawing balls without color (defining a ball its certain size
2. defining the area where the ball is - within the whole field.
I work on old radios, and jukeboxes. Remember Vacuum Tubes (Valves)? The schematics when I can get them are not very clear. I try and clean up areas of the schematic I am working on by redrawing the lines, and redoing the text. I try and do the lines in the colors of the wires. For example, If I wanted to draw a wire that was blue with a red stripe, it would look something like the attached image. It would have black outline, and the inside filled with 1 or 2 color (the diagonal strips would be nice, but I could live with straight lines). Â If I wanted to draw a white line, it would have black outline, and the inside would be a solid color. Is there a way to accomplish this for the two types of lines that I need to draw?If not, looking for some plugin source code that I could adapt?
i have been trying to get this colored CAD drawing in high quality and more presantable. First, i created this shape and i applied gradient and i used the maximum capacity of gradient which i knew.
Is there any better way that i could do it in 2012 CAD get a better quality drawing in more details or should i use another software?
I have a scanned pen/ink drawing that was colored/shaded using coloring pencils. One of the colors needs to be edited. What's the best method of doing this? Should I start in PhotoShop instead?
We need a macro that will allow you to select a certain color fill inside document and change all to no fill hairlines. It needs to be capable of doing it several times within the same document. Does anything like this exist out there?Â
We have color replacer. We want it to do this automactically with a static group of colors everytime without any manual maniplulation required.Â
I would like to create a colored circular text using File > Create > Logo > Circular text ... but everytime I try, the circular text is displayed in black ... ! How can I change this and choose the color for the circular text ?
How can i get such effects like in the attached image;
- first of all; the image has no background - the grapes are shown on a plain white background.Note; there is another nice little thing that we have to mention; the image of the grapes are somewhat with a kind of a overdose of light - i think that this is a nice effect - perhaps added with gimp!? The grapes look very interesting.
- the next effect that i like is the adding of the circles that are seen in the image. How did they add those pastel colored circles.
I have been using Photoshop for a few years now but would not consider myself advanced in any way!
I have to complete a textiles assignment and need to screen print some tshirts. I have been told by the printer that I have to pay per colour, and was wondering if anyone knew of a way of restricting the amount of colours in Photoshop?
I run an ecommerce business selling designer men’s underwear and was wondering how I could achieve an image for my products similar to the ones shown via the links below?
These illustrate different product images of men’s underwear and they look as though they have been photographed whilst being worn by an invisible man.
One of the links is to a product of a thong, which I have included because it illustrates how detailed and clear the washing label is on the inside of the waist band.
They have over 200 products photographed and illustrated in this way and I can not figure out how they have achieved it.
Anyone know how to make a frame on the top and the bottom of several pics so it looks like an old fashion filmstrip (negative/positive) you know where the number of the pics stand under each picture and iex "Fujifilm" on top....
I'm trying to generate random billowy shapes (like cartoon clouds or bushes) by simply creating a shape and applying a some kid of brush/pattern/style/script/whatever to it and getting a look like in the below links. Â The look I'm trying to achieve is visually simple: [URL] .... Â I can easily draw those kinds of things by hand, however I want to be able to generate such shapes randomly. Â Is such a thing possible? Are there existing brushes/patterns/styles/scripts that can pull this off? So far my search has come up with nothing, unless I'm searching wrong. Â Generally I'm aware of what brushes and patterns can do, but as far as I can tell they always generate the same results each time you use them. Â Perhaps a script can be made to do this? Â Essentially a cloud could be drawn as a bunch of random circles grouped together, then all of them get merged into one shape.
I have a set of images that are all different, but tile nicely together. I would like to create a pattern (or similar) that I can use to fill an area using those images randomly selected. That is, they should all be aligned in a grid, but each tile of the grid should be chosen at random from one of the images. The purpose of this is to have a tiling that doesn't repeat, a la [URL] and, more generally, [URL] Â Here are a few images from a set as an example of what I would like to randomly tile: Â Of course I could place them manually, but I may need to fill an area with thousands of these, and even if I did place them by hand, it wouldn't be very flexible as far as reshaping/resizing the tiled area, etc.
I have a collection of color groups, that I am applying to grouped objects, but every time I change out the color group, it randomizes the order which the colors are applied. Â In the kind of bulk work I'm doing, its really turning into an hours burner. Â Â The specific process I'm using (I've tried several different ways with the same result)
1) Draw my art 2) Group the art 3) Create a new color group with my art selected. 4) Double click the color group and recolor. 5) Save the swatches ----- so far so good 6) Double Click a different color group (or select from the Recolor panel) -- here the other color group (swatches) get applied, but every time I do it, the order of which color is applied to
Looking for technique for assembling a grid of dots in a pseudo-random fashion? Â I hope the attached image makes more sense. Â Basically the final result is pic3 with the dots appearing over time via pic1 and pic2.
I've been playing around with the gradient map tool, and love the randomize and noise option to give me nice looking gradients for my images.... my question is, is there a way to "extract" or "split" the colors of the randomized map into its separate colors as if I was creating them manually with the "solid" option?
i lost in PS6 my bar with the three colored 'balls'. And PS stuck on the finder bar of Mac osx. I can not move the complete PS frame any more. I tried already the 'F' key, Tab button with or without the Shift key, restarted my system, but nothing seems to work.
The cursor changes from the pointer into the spinning balls as if PS is applying a filter or preparing to save, However I can still use the the tool while this is happening to brush or clone. For example when I use the clone tool (9 out of 10 times this is when it occurs) and im working on something quite delicate and the cursor changes to the spinning balls I am still able to carry on cloning but it very difficult to keep my accuracy because you cant see where your cloning.
Initially I thought I could just ignore it and it would only happen every so often and maybe for a second or two, but its quite frequent and and does last a while. Added to that the annoying disappearing cursor trick that also keeps happening, it all making PS very frustrating to use at the moment. I am wanting to buy/use software to enable me to create gif files that has bouncing balls with different letters on each ball.
I have tried to create them using paintshoppro, but this would involve creating each letter seperately, is there something that i can use where i change the text and the programe does the rest?
I'm just playing with a rotor head of a model helicopter (see picture). For proper initial alignment, all main parts shall be setup parallel against one-another. This can be done by aligning the length of the ball linkages.
But therefore I need to know the distance of the ball centers. How can I do that? (STEP file for testing with different Inventor versions is attached).
Well, ran into an interesting filter result which looks similar to molten metal or something you would get with meta balls in a 3d program. Preety easy to get it too, just use your filter-render-fibers (default setting will work) then your filter-sketch-plaster (again, default settings may work) and whola. Playing with the setting in the plaster window will give you more or less metal as you see fit. Simple and maybe of some use to some...
How to create such object (cell model) in Maya? Do I need to use a special script or is there any method to align small balls along the surface of a big ball (or other shape)?
i have created a Stargate using photoshop but because its round and i have used a transparent backgrond when i insert the picture into my web page i get a white pixelated edge to the graphic.
