Lightroom :: Backup Only Raw Of Pictures Imported In Raw / JPEG Format
Oct 29, 2011
I have all my pictures shooted in my Lightroom. My first APN shooted only in jpg files. After, with a new APN, I don't know realy why, I shooted in raw+jpg. And now, I download only raw files. Is it possible to delete jpeg files which exists in double of raw files?
I imported pictures to Adobe Lightroom and exported them to my memory card. Now my memory card is broke! Is there any way to retrieve those pictures from Lightroom. Right now they are saying missing.
I have saved my photos in RAW format and imported them into Lightroom. I have then made changes to them and exported them from Lightroom as JPEG files. However, when I go to a printing kiosk and get the photos printed, they are all darker than what they displayed in Lightroom. What do I need to do to be able to print accepable photos?
Lightroom 4.4 on a Win 7 computer will not import visible jpeg photos from a chip because the files can not be read. The same photos import fine on another Win 7 computer using LR 4.4. Lightroom has been importing fine up til now.
Just installed the LR3 software and updated to the last version. I inserted the SD-card with 12 pictures (jpg and raw) into the card reader but on the LR3 screen I only saw 12 grey rectangles. However, I imported the 12 pictures into a folder on the PC. The rectangles remained gray. With other programes I can see and open the pictures. My camera is a LX5.
I just got Lightroom. I imported 800 some new pictures on and started to develop them. Then, I went into Picasa to check some older pictures and it captured all the new pictures and since then, I cannot develop my pictures in Lightroom. I can still see them in the Library, but a message appears above them saying they are missing.I can't. They are on my hard drive and in Picasa.
In CS6 I work with .tiff files and then export them to LR4 for editting. When I try to export the files back to CS6 they are converted to .jpeg files. Why?
My computer: MacBook Pro Retina16GB ram Software latest updated os Xlightroom 5 Camera canon 5D MII
When importing 300 raw pictures from the camera with LR5, the software crashes 10(!) times. I import the pictuers to a external HDD. The pictures where converted to the DNG-format.
When importing with the photoloader from mac os x everything went fine.
hiya! so my master media library is running off a 1 tb outboard drive to lightroom and i have a 2 tb outboard drive as a master backup, i drag new media over to the drive through finder on a mac- will this be able to connect to lightroom's catalog in case of the primary drives eventual failure? is there a better way?
What is the best format in which to save completed videos? Often when I go back to an old video, I get the "some files did not link properly" message. How can I prevent this?
I was planing to use an external HD to keep all my photos and being able to work on different computer (in different places) where I have Elements already installed.
How can I connect (synch) these different Elements to the external HD where i keep my Pictures?
If I use backup/restore i would need a copy of my pictures on each computer I use and that is not what i want. What i want is to use the same catalog and pictures when i move form one PC to another.
In some cases (especially with files imported from dxf format), the tables of print style are only with .stb extension but I need to use the Monochrome.ctb. How Can I load this table if it doesn't appear in the list?
I installed PSE 12 and mistakenly copied all photos from iPhoto to PSE 12---and filling up hard drive. I would like to delete all photos copied to the Organizer---would it be best to simply uninstall PSE 12? I would rather keep photos in iPhoto and import the photos I want to work on manually.
I have a JPEG cartoon image (company logo) that I want to import. When I do the logo goes blurry. Not terrible, but when you zoom in, way more blurry than if you opened the picture in Microsoft Picture Manager.
I have been watching MANY videos, but just cannot seem to figure out how to color the B&W photo I imported into Illustrator CC. Do I need to do something in Photoshop first? I was able to trace the image but from there I am lost.
I am importing images saved in both Raw and JPEG format at the time of capture. There seems to be a color shift - toward green for the JPEGS and red for the Camera Raw images. Why is this happening?
I'm trying to add perspective to photos (JPEG files) imported into CorelDraw.
I want to change a photo so that, rather than facing 'head on', it looks as though it is facing away at an angle.
I can skew basic shapes to give the impression these have perspective but I can not do this with JPEG files. How to acheive this in CorelDraw or CorelPhoto.
I imported my photos into organizer. I don't see the pictures, all I see are grey squares. I have to open every single picture in editor before I can see it in the organizer.
I am editing a jpeg file. I have noticed that when I try to save the file it does not offer the jpeg format. Neither "save" nor "save as" offers a jpeg format.
I have imported a jpeg image by double clicking it and it is showing as a vector in the workspace. All the tools on the left are greyed out(eg clone brush) except for the text tool.On selecting the text tool instead of the usual box showing a blue bar appears on top of the screen which can be moved about.
I just purchased Photoshop Elements 7, hoping for a simpler piece of software.
1. It comes with no manual so I'm no better off than with the company installed Photoshop 7 software from several years ago.
2. When I go to save a photo I have no option to save as a jpeg/jpg file.
When I try the Help tab, I eventually find that PSE 7 does supposedly save in jpeg/jpg format. If it does where the heck is that option in my save/save as menu?
I don't have photoshop or any tools available to me to convert files to CMYK format from RGB. Everything I've tried hasn't worked and I need these done to send them off to be pressed (it's my bands cd cover and cd print).
actually I take my pictures with a Canon D60; the default of the format is 4:3 which -as I guess - can't be changed. I want to integrate these pictures in my movies which I edit with Magix. Video Deluxe 2014. The format of my movies are 16:9. Now, what have I to to change my format from 4:3 to 16:9, ideally as a batch?
