I have a JPEG cartoon image (company logo) that I want to import. When I do the logo goes blurry. Not terrible, but when you zoom in, way more blurry than if you opened the picture in Microsoft Picture Manager.
View 6 RepliesI'm trying to add perspective to photos (JPEG files) imported into CorelDraw.
I want to change a photo so that, rather than facing 'head on', it looks as though it is facing away at an angle.
I can skew basic shapes to give the impression these have perspective but I can not do this with JPEG files. How to acheive this in CorelDraw or CorelPhoto.
ive encountered a problem in X3 when i try to export any artwork or photos to my desktop as jpegs they images are all blurry,outside lines are not sharp at all,ive not altered any settings whatsoever and also found that full A4 images will not save at all,just as a solid black line.

Every time I upload an image, it blurs the edges around the text and the color looks distorted.
I have imported a 2d drawing of a vehicle into coral draw x5 from auto cad. Problem is that when I zoom in all the lines do not seem to be joined especially curves, this in turn makes it a pain when filling with colour. I have recently traced one side manually using line and curve tools but my question is, is there s quicker way of tracing a dxf without manually doing it? And if so how to do it?

If I import all content, the resolution is preserved.
Is that possible to increase the preciousness of linked images to reflect original?

I receive a PDF file from my client which is their logo.
The text is suppose to be vector, but they appear as bitmap and I cannot apply fill and outline to it.
I can edit the nodes with the Shape Tool after I converted it to AI or EPS format, but still cannot apply fill and outline.
I have recently switched from a PC to Mac and reloaded my CorelDraw 11 software onto my Mac. I have been importing tiffs into my document but am unable to use any of effects tools. What I can do to get this software working on my laptop. I am running OSX Leopard.
View 4 Replies View RelatedThe imported file is probably from Illustrator. The vector element in question is text converted to curves with a CMYK bit map fill. CorelDraw X5 seems unable to extract the bitmap fill from the vectors. What's up with this, is there anyway to extract the bitmap fill?
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen importing a multi-page pdf or ps file into a multi-page document, sometimes the inserted pages will all have their Document Grid layer visibility turned on, even when the existing pages in the document all have it turned off.
If I bring up the object manager, I can go through the affected pages and 'un-eye' them one page at a time. But it's a blooming nuisance, especially when importing dozens of pages at once.
How can I make an imported scan of a line drawing "transparent" and add color fills to various sections, using the freehand tool ? I have done this many times with an older version of CorelDraw, but in CorelDraw- x5 the
imported scan includes a white background (even when I select NO FILL), so that my freehand tool selections are either on top of, or hidden behind the white background.
Is there a way to set the default setting to rgb when exporting to jpeg. The current setting is set to cmyk and I want it to be rgb so that everytime I export I don't have to change the settings.

A customer sent me a jpeg of a white dove that they want printed on vinyl and then contour cut to put on their travel trailer. The picture was a very low dpi and I scanned it and increased the dpi to 150. I tried to trace it, but it just would not come out right.
My question is -- Can I put cutting lines around the dove as a bitmap and then be able to print and contour cut it out?
I've created a poster on corel draw x5 and I want to save it into a jpeg file, how can I do this? I have tried opening the file in corel photo paint but it loses some of the effects I have added.
Also, I want to be able to upload the poster on my website but being new to that as well how do I get the poster web ready?
I use corel draw to assemble jpeg images I have exported from another application into a presentation which I then publish to pdf.
My problem is that whenever I update the images I have to re-insert and position/scale each one again in the corel presentation.
I've been trying to work out how to do this with linked files or OLE objects, but without success.
Is there a way to link or embed jpegs so that if I update the original jpeg it will update in corel draw?
I've tried to follow corel help but it doesn't work. Inserting an OLE just puts a box with the jpeg filename on the page, and it prints as just a box with a filename as well.

View 2 Replies View RelatedCorel X5 is getting better but Im having trouble making my files to jpeg, last version (X4) you can make your own percentage on making jpeg, right now, I dont know what kind of jpeg will I choose to make my file print on any medium. the choices are only Highest, High (80%), medium (50%) low (20%) and lowest at 0%, every time I choose some and make it CMYK version, the file was damaged and discoloration, how can I do it on coreldraw 15 like what im doing last time on coreldraw 14.
View 2 Replies View RelatedListing on ebay some clocks i do, looking at the latest requirements. They want a jpg image 1600 pixels on the longest size, ok its big but fair enough.
They also want it to be 90 on the 0-99 JPEG quality scale. Someone has shown me that scale in Ifranview but where do i find it in Corel Draw X4 blowed if i can find it, I don't really want to add another program just to sort this out, i am confident Corel Draw X4 can do it.
I am finding when exporting my work in CorelDraw x6 as a JPEG that the size increases to something much larger.
I just want my work as a high quality jpg of 300dpi at the size i have drawn it!
Many of my fonts become pixelated when I export them as jpeg. I use 72dpi, default settings. How can I correct that? My photos stay clean though.

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I export an image from CorelDraw to a jpeg, or png, (or probably anything for that matter) and try to use it in my web design program I get the little 1 pixel wide white line. WTH? I then have to take it into corel photo paint and erase that one pixel line, in order for it to be gone.
I've used Corel Draw since version 4 I think and this problem has existed in every version Corel has put out. I like the product, I find it easy to use but this glitch is maddening.
For some reason I am having problems exporting .CDR's to .JPG - I am using a custom page layout, 12x10" in landscape and have basically created 4 images with a 1" border around them by means of setting the page background to a plain colour and importing a .JPG to the desired size. This worked fine for two of my images, but, for some reason the other 2 images will not save as a 12 x 10 sized image, which means the 'border' is cropped on the two sides.
It's hair pulling out time for me as I have done the same process for two of the prints, but the other two will not stop cropping themselves in the export process.
when you export any size graphic as a jpg (selected only or not) the dialogue box comes up empty, completely! when i go to close it, it crashes corel. If I tick the donot show filter dialogue box It makes a jpg image but i have no control over the settings. It works when I export to bmp! this is getting frustrating as I often have to jpeg some graphics for customers.

There are no error messages or hints on the screen as to what to do to proceed with the save JPEG with orginal settings.
