Lightroom :: 3.6 Slideshow Auto-advance
Nov 6, 2013I just got a new computer and use Lightroom 3.6. Now when I make a slide show and save it as a PDF it won't auto-advance to the next slide when running. When I review it in Lightroom it auto-advances fine but when I run the PDF file it sticks on the first slide and must be advanced manually. I believe I'm running the latest version of Adobe Reader as I just downloaded it last week when I got my new computer. how to get the auto-advance feature running like it did on my old computer?

Is there a faster way to advance to the next image after applying a keyword than using the mouse to select the next image from the library browser? My lack of knowing this trick is killing my productivity by at least a factor of two.

Feb 4, 2013As a pro, I crop all my photos.I normally use the forward arrow to move through each image, but with the crop tool the forward arrow doesn't work for advancing to the next frame.It only adjusts the crop.This is extremely frustrating for me as it slows down my workflow.
Is there a one key shortcut, within the Crop Tool -- that permits us to move forward from frame to frame?I wish the forward key worked for this within the crop tool!
Is there an easy answer or a way to format something in Lightroom -- so I can have a one-key method to advance frames within the Crop tool?

But following doing UNDO, plug-in freezes.
Not in timer event function, there's no problem.And no setting name, there's no problem, too.

Oct 20, 2013I have been using PSE 11 for about 6 months with no problems, however, yesterday the prog froze and I had to switch off and re-boot. Now all new uploads are displayed in the organiser as egg timer icons. These will open, but only one at a time when double clicked on. I am on Windows 7. I have uninstalled PSE 11 and re-installed but the problem persists. I have uploaded a very small jpeg and got the same resuilts, which seems to rule out a RAW problem.

Mar 24, 2014What I am trying to accomplish is to make a 10-sec video that has a real time countdown clock to a certain part of the day (Ie: 5 hours and 10 secs left till 8 pm). Designing the clock is simple, what I cannot figure out is what program i should use and how to make it link to real time. Is this possible in after efects or do i need to use flash professional or something else. To give you a little bit more information, typically I design ads that just run on a loop, this ad has to be different because it needs to run in a loop and somehow go and get the countdown according to real time and not just the videos length. (I've heard of somehow making a flash SWF file that either links to computer or RSS file, but how to do that in aftereffects.) This is what i can find, but NOT what i want: [URL].... I want it to use real time for countdown.
The media player running this 10-sec video ad is apparently compatible with Flash SWF.

Jun 19, 2012I was interested in finding out if it's possible to write a LISP routine that would execute a pop-up dialog box say every 30 minutes. This is strictly for ergonomic reasons to remind the user to take a pre-determined break.
I am not an expert code writer by any means, but I imagine the routine would autoload and resetting the timer to 0 upon opening a particular drawing file. The LISP routine would then run in the background and run the (alert "") command when the timer reaches 30m 0s. When the user presses the OK button, the timer resets to 0 again.

This is the area that I am having problems with. To customize a halftone screen.
1. Click File Print.
2. Click the Color tab.
3. Enable the Print separations option.
4.Click the Separations tab.
5. In the Options area, enable the Use advanced settings check box.
6. Click Advanced.
7. Change any of the following settings:
•Screening technology
•Resolution
•Basic screen
•Halftone type
You can set the screen frequency, screen angle, and overprint opt. ions for spot colors as well as process colors. For example, if you have a fountain fill made up of two spot colors, you can set one to print at 45 degrees and the other at 90 degrees.

Sep 8, 2012I am trying to select music for my slideshow in LR 3. When I click on "select music" in the Slideshow Module I am able to select a song but because of the number of photos in the show I need more than one song or else find a much longer song. I need to add three songs to get adequate length. This is on a PC laptop. I have tried holding down various buttons while clicking on an additional song to add. including the shift button, Alt button, Ctrl, Window button, and Fn. It still keeps unchecking the selected song and then checking the next song I click on.
How do I get more than one song into the Slideshow?
