View 1 RepliesIn LR5, Slideshow module, the arrow keys do not move to the next or previous image in the auto mode. They do work in the manual mode, but I need them to work in the auto mode as well.
View 5 Replies View RelatedIn Lightroom 5.3, in the Slideshow Module and in the Impromptu Slideshow, the left and right arrow keys should move the slideshow backwards or forwards respectively when pressed. However, in my copy of Lightroom 5.3, pressing these arrow keys while the slideshow is running or paused has no effect whatsoever. (The arrow keys work as they should)?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI just got a new computer and use Lightroom 3.6. Now when I make a slide show and save it as a PDF it won't auto-advance to the next slide when running. When I review it in Lightroom it auto-advances fine but when I run the PDF file it sticks on the first slide and must be advanced manually. I believe I'm running the latest version of Adobe Reader as I just downloaded it last week when I got my new computer. how to get the auto-advance feature running like it did on my old computer?

View 1 Replies View RelatedAs a pro, I crop all my photos.I normally use the forward arrow to move through each image, but with the crop tool the forward arrow doesn't work for advancing to the next frame. It only adjusts the crop. This is extremely frustrating for me as it slows down my workflow.
Is there a one key shortcut, within the Crop Tool -- that permits us to move forward from frame to frame?I wish the forward key worked for this within the crop tool!
Is there an easy answer or a way to format something in Lightroom -- so I can have a one-key method to advance frames within the Crop tool?
Is it possible to place text in individual slides in LR 4.4? If so, how? Currently have only been able to have text apply to all slides.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have created a couple of collections but when I go into slide show the images are not visible for creating a slide show. Works ok with some collections but not all. Presumably there is a linkage problem. Using v4.4 on a Mac.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am running LR4 ver4.3. All of a sudden I receied an error message stating cannnot switch to module. I have tried all the usual stuff before going out to the web to look for fixes. On adobe's site they recommended 6 things which I did exactly as instructed and still nothing..I am running iMac mountain lion and everything on my computer is up to date.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm wondering if it's possible to use the arrow keys to scroll up and down folders and presets? I'm starting to get RSI from the mouse. Is there a way? I can't work out how.
View 7 Replies View RelatedWhen in Library I have noticed a glitch. When using the right & left arrow keys to navigate the images, sometimes the keys do not work and I receive an error tone. To rectify the error I have to go out of Library and then back in again. The same sometimes happens when I am in the develop module.
View 12 Replies View RelatedI am using photoshop elements 5 to make a slide show. After previewing it there were many RANDOM slides where the picture was no longer there, just a COMPLETELY BLACK SLIDE. How do I recover these? I cannot possibly remember which pictures were in all of the spots.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI know this is gonna be hard to believe after 4+ versions of LR, but, I just tried slideshow on the 4.4 RC and the timing issue which has been the bain of the slideshow module seems to have been adjusted. I have just tried 6-7 different slide shows, added music of various lengths, changed the fade durations, changed the type of music, source of music, and greatly varied lengths of music and it has actually worked in a manner that would be acceptable to view with a client in a face to face presentation. This includes using an intro and exit screen. I am using a mac with SnowLeopard. I will try this on a PC with Windows 7 Professional later today. You still can only use one soundtrack and make sure the sound track does not start or stop too abruptly, but what a big difference! I could not get it to mess up regardless of changes I made.
View 35 Replies View RelatedI experience a lot of annoying waiting time watching the progress bar while Lightroom is "preparing the previews in advance". In previous versions you could skip this process and the previews were built while the slideshow was running, which was performing very well.
Please bring back this "feature". I know the previews don't have to be built if you already have 1:1 previews but it's not very convinient to have 1:1 previews for every image you might want to show in a slideshow. Especially since LIghtroom 5 invented the Smart Previews I don't understand why these previews can't be used for the slideshow module as well.
Is there a bugfix coming or any workaround within LR (no 3rd party software)?
When attempting to access the SLIDESHOW module I get the error message "an error occurred when attempting to change modules. This occurrs when using either the main task bar at the very top of the page under "WINDOW" or the horizontal list of modules near the top right of the page.
View 1 Replies View Relatedyes I did get a error message but it was too long to copy here.I've paid good money for Lightroom. I'M spending a lot of time using it and perfecting my stuff. If it crashes all the time, what's the point? I am about my work and I don't feel very much respected by this version of Lightroom.I'm using the most recent version, 4.1 .
View 3 Replies View RelatedSince updating to Lightroom 4.3, I cannot access the Slideshow module. Each time I try, I receive the following message:
"An error occurred when attempting to change modules."
replacing the preferences file (com.adobe.Lightroom[VERSION#].plist) and deleting my user created slideshow templates
in Lightroom 5's Slideshow module, i use the Overlay panel (you decide if Identity Plate or custom text appear in the slide show). I've seen screenshots and tutorials where you could add shadow to those overlays - there was a Shadows section at the bottom of the Overlays panel.
But that was Lightroom on the Mac. In my Windows version the Overlays panel does not show the Shadows section that i clearly see on screenshots taken on Macintosh versions.
When selecting images in Library module for a slideshow, the right pane switched to a muddy yellow color.
After minimizing the LR5 window, the muddy yellow box remained on the desktop. Could this be a LR5 glitch/bug?
The lightroom slideshow module appears to only allow one picture or one video per screen. I would like to put everything within one folder (usually 4 pictures) on one screen.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI need to rotate a layer to an exact spot relative to another layer.
Moving it right and left with the arrow keys lets me see when I snaps
into register.
I also want to do that with rotation.
My arrow keys don't run on my Ai. what can I do?
View 1 Replies View RelatedRecently purchased a new computer with 64 bit system 4meg ram. I installed CS2 and everything seems to be working except the arrow keys and the control +/- features. Arrow keys are working in other programs like word and publisher.
View 31 Replies View RelatedI purchased Adobe Photoshop CS2 for Windows XP and installed it on my work PC and my home PC.
Everything works fine and dandy on my work PC, however when I try to do some editting on my home PC there are some quirks that I can't figure out.
The main thing is that my Up/Down Arrow Keys do absolutely nothing.
Whether I am trying to edit text and scroll through my fonts or if I'm trying to nudge a part of a picture, the Arrow keys do nothing.
I am using AutoCAD 2002 Mechanical at work and the mouse wheel is set to do zooming in and out. The finger I use on the wheel is beginning to hurt as I zoom a lot so I would like to be able to zoom with the up and down arrow keys on my keyboard instead. Is this possible?
I would also like to know if it is possible to set up panning in all directions with the four arrow keys instead of pushing down the mouse wheel and moving the mouse.
Is there anyway that I can pan up, down, left, right using arrow keys? or zoom in, zoom out using pgup pgdn? I only know ctrl+arrow keys... I think it is more convenient if I use only arrow keys.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm currently using AutoCad 2012 while in the process of installing 2013. Over the last few months i've had an increasing problem with a sore finger causing by an over reliance on zooming with the scroll wheel. To combat the problem I've recently purchased a track mouse but i'm finding it difficult to move around the drawing as freely as i'd normal be used to.
Is there any way of setting the arrow keys on the keyboard to zoom and perform a similar function as the scroll wheel on an orthodox mouse?
Is there a way to scroll using arrow keys (or any other keys) because it drives me crazy when Im zoomed in to a picture to edit some small detail and i go to use the arow keys to scroll to another spot and I end up moving my mouse across the screen. It is also tiresome that i have to keep going over to the scroll bar to get to see a different part of my image.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm on a Mac Pro, quad core, 9 GB memory. I have been using CS5 for all my photo work and use Bridge and ACR to do all of my editing. I have set up two monitors with content on the right screen as thumbnails and preview (and other tabs) on the left screen. To do my edits I use the right/left arrow keys to scroll through the images (and then make my picks/ratings) as I go.
I just installed CS6 Demo and am trying to do the same thing...everything else works normally but the right/left arrow keys (moving from image to image) now takes 4 to 5 seconds to bring up the image (CS5 was instant). All paramaters/settings/preferences are the same. I know CS6 needs a more powerful video card (mine is only 256 mb...I will be upgrading soon)...but here's the weird thing which leads me to believe that's not the problem...the up and down arrow keys work normally, i.e. they go from image to image instantly. I edit folders of images that range from 200 to 300, up to 1500 images from a shoot on a daily basis so I need this to work for me!
Also, I'm having problems trying to run a batch in CS6, I set up an action identical to what I had running in CS5 (embedding a text logo on an image) and while it goes through the process of doing the action, at the end it pops up an error message and lists all the images saying it could not process the request. Weird or what?
Is there any way to use arrow keys instead of mouse clicks to move the trim markers (or frame forward/back)? I have arthritis and am not able to do the hundreds of mouse clicks that seem to be required.
