Can I get camera raw 7.2 for CS5 Photoshop without upgrading to CS6 photoshop ? Can I revert to Lightroom 4.1? It worked with my photoshop CS5 camera raw.
Come on Adobe, let's get this to work!
I noticed that the history brush screenshot taken from the fly-out menu (instead of from the camera icon at the bottom of palette) doesn't work. History brush only works if you use the camera icon at the bottom of the history pallette and then select "current layer" for your snapshot from the drop down menu which shows up after you press the camera icon.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I "Edit in Photoshop CS6" (CMD+E), CS6 launches but the image isn't sent to CS6. I just get the default CS working space. I've been using LR4.1 since it came out and just got CS6 (I didn't have previous version of CS).

I have upgraded by macbook to mountain lion and have bought lightroom 5. I have photoshop elements 8. I have a sony alpha a-65 camera. I haven't installed lightroom 5 yet because I wanted to make sure everything is compatible with my older mac before I did. I have lightroom 4. My question---I can't open .arw images on my computer with my Camera Raw version 5.5..0.97 now. Sony A-65 requires 6.5 version but it would open before I put mountain lion on my mac. Will lightroom 5 add the lastest camera raw and solve this. Is it necessary for me to get elements 12 to get this all to work?

I recently bought a new camera and non of the images imported from it have the camera name as a keyword. Is there an option, which I have overlooked, that will force Lightroom to add the camera name as a keyword to images?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have Lightroom 4.3 and a Canon 6D. I cannot get Lightroom to display my Camera Calibration Profile when I am developing a raw file.
I have dug through the MAC Library and Application Support folder and found CameraRaw. That folder contains my listed cameras. But when I am in Lightroom, I do not see that profile in the Camera Calibration section.
Is there a way to force Lightroom to display my camera profile? Lightroom 2 used to display it.
I'm just trying out LR5. I've watched vidoes where in LR4 you can setup a slideshow to play from a folder, and while the slideshow is playing you can take new photos from a tethered camera and it will automatically add it to the slideshow.
In LR5, on my computer (Mac), the incoming photo seems to get stuck and does not make it into the slideshow. I have to stop the slideshow, and restart it to see the new incoming photo taken by tethered camera. I need this function for an event, so I'm just wondering whether I'm doing something wrong, or whether it is a bug in LR5?
I've selected the mode "Use: All Filmstrip Photos". What I've observed is that while playing the slideshow without going fuill screen, a newly taken photo from the tethered camera appears as a white tile, but then the thumbnail contents do not change. When I stop the slideshow, the photo then gets "Developed" and then it will be in the slideshow the next time I play it.
When I try to connect my Nikon D610 with a USB cable to import RAW files (i.e. .NEF), I need to open manually LR and click on the Import button to start importing even if Automatic Import is activated.

It DOES see the camera, the camera settings and even triggers the camera. However, the image files are nowhere to be found.
I just installed lightroom 3.3 and I cant seem to get my trackpad (HP Envy laptop) to work inside of LR3.3. When i try to two finger scroll, LR shows a dynamic scroll graphic but the current pane does not scroll.
View 3 Replies View RelatedLooking forward to this update because i use a Fuji X pro 1 and I had read that lightroom 4.4 now supports this camera and sensor.
However after updating all I get in the Lens adjustment under Fuji is the Fuji x100 which has been their for some time.The exif info is showing the correct camera and lens used etc.
I have tried uninstalling and then manually removing any left over files and folders with no luck.
Do i have to install support for this camera as an addon?
Also if i look in the lightroom folder Camera profiles/camera it only lists Canon, Nikon and Sony
I could use my watermarks without any problems in LR3 but after checking out the trial of LR4 this works selectively on only some of my images. Looks to me like a bug

Before I was able to do in and touch up shadowy areas using (K) adjustment brush, but now it doesn;t seem to work. The radial brush does a good job for a defined area but for SPOT touching I have always used the the adjustment brush?
Is there a setting or am I missing something or is this a bug?
Tried to publish to face book in Lightroom 4 and 4.4 on both PC and Mac. You can create a new empty album in FB from Lightroom but Lightroom will not the allow you to select the album to upload the images. You just get an error message at the bottom of the screen telling you "error - no album selected" Wasted hours trying to get it to work as per Julian Kost video tutorial.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI haven't noticed this before. I know that in LR 4.4 image is scaled properly when export size is specified by megapixels instead of pixel or print size.In LR 5.3RC it does not work. The image is always exported as it's original size. Not sure how LR 5 and LR 5.2 was?

Although preview of photos to be imported is shown I only get the message that the import could not be carried out (1) and the option to save the data as a :txt file. This was with Lightroom 4. It started first with being unabel to import directly from the camera, then I swithched to inserting the SD card directly into the laptop. This worked only after first downloading to the desktop. Later this didn't work either. I thought the program had become defect. Preview still worked and export is fine. I therefore updated to Lightroom 5 in the hope that this would solve the problem. However everything remains the same. Import still doesn't work with photos of any format. e.g. jpg or RAW.

View 5 Replies View RelatedThe tethered capture doesn't seem to be working in lightroom 4.1 RC with the canon 5D mk3. The camera is detected with the correct name, but no camera parameter is recognized, and the camera can't take any photo.
I've experienced this both on Windows 7 64bits and Mac OS X. Importing canon 5D mk3 pictures works fine.
When I generate a 32 bit tiff (HDR) in PS CS5 from bracketed pictures within lightroom 4.1, import the tiff back into lightroom, adjust it in lightroom, and then send it back to PS (option "Edit a Copy with Lightroom Adjustments" selected) for further editing, the file won't open in PS. Opening the file directly in PS works, but without the adjustments made in lightroom.
I have tried the same with a 32 bit tiff from Photomatix. Same behaviour.

View 3 Replies View RelatedLR4.2 and "Do not import selected duplicates" does not always work. Running a Mac, 10.6.8, I am cleaning up hard drives, organizing old files. There are times lightroom 4.2 (and before) does not recognize already imported raws and does not gray them out. These are backed up cards and folders of of raw images. Why is the "do not import selected duplicates" check box not working???!!!
