Lightroom :: 4.2 - Tethering STILL Doesn't Work With 5D3?
Oct 3, 2012I just upgraded to LR 4.2...
It DOES see the camera, the camera settings and even triggers the camera. However, the image files are nowhere to be found.

Lightroom :: 4 Doesn't Recognize Canon 7D In Tethering Mode
Jan 27, 2013I'm trying to get working tethering mode in LR4 with my Canon 7D and I have "No Camera Detected" in control panel of tethering capture and BUSY indicator is ON on my camera. It works just fine using EOS Utility: I can do shots, change camera settings and so on but I really want this feature inside of LR because of variety of features of LR.

Lightroom :: Web Gallery Doesn't Work
Dec 8, 2011when I click under the web gallery and I selected a flash gallery or imported web galley (example here is airtight simple viewver...) ... the screen in the middle box keeping black nothing more.it's when I click under flash gallery.there is no photo adding ...
Previously it worked I saw when I clicked under airtight post card viewer web gallery ... all my photo getting on the middle screen..Now it only works with HTML lightroom gallery.More when I click under preview in browser some gallery works but some not ... when I said not ... the result is a black screen in IE or Firefox ...
I tried to uninstall and re install lightroom but result is the same .

Feb 20, 2011I just installed lightroom 3.3 and I cant seem to get my trackpad (HP Envy laptop) to work inside of LR3.3. When i try to two finger scroll, LR shows a dynamic scroll graphic but the current pane does not scroll.

Aug 19, 2013So why in the world would I update Lightroom in the middle of a job.?
Before I was able to do in and touch up shadowy areas using (K) adjustment brush, but now it doesn;t seem to work. The radial brush does a good job for a defined area but for SPOT touching I have always used the the adjustment brush?
Is there a setting or am I missing something or is this a bug?
Lightroom :: Publish To Facebook Doesn't Work?
Jun 9, 2013Tried to publish to face book in Lightroom 4 and 4.4 on both PC and Mac. You can create a new empty album in FB from Lightroom but Lightroom will not the allow you to select the album to upload the images. You just get an error message at the bottom of the screen telling you "error - no album selected" Wasted hours trying to get it to work as per Julian Kost video tutorial.

Nov 26, 2013I haven't noticed this before. I know that in LR 4.4 image is scaled properly when export size is specified by megapixels instead of pixel or print size.In LR 5.3RC it does not work. The image is always exported as it's original size. Not sure how LR 5 and LR 5.2 was?

Lightroom :: Photo Import Doesn't Work
Jan 6, 2014I am using lightroom 4 and 5 on a Mac. Although preview of photos to be imported is shown I only get the message that the import could not be carried out (1) and the option to save the data as a :txt file. This was with Lightroom 4. It started first with being unabel to import directly from the camera, then I swithched to inserting the SD card directly into the laptop. This worked only after first downloading to the desktop. Later this didn't work either. I thought the program had become defect. Preview still worked and export is fine. I therefore updated to Lightroom 5 in the hope that this would solve the problem. However everything remains the same. Import still doesn't work with photos of any format. e.g. jpg or RAW.

Apr 1, 2012The tethered capture doesn't seem to be working in lightroom 4.1 RC with the canon 5D mk3. The camera is detected with the correct name, but no camera parameter is recognized, and the camera can't take any photo.
I've experienced this both on Windows 7 64bits and Mac OS X. Importing canon 5D mk3 pictures works fine.

Jun 3, 2012When I generate a 32 bit tiff (HDR) in PS CS5 from bracketed pictures within lightroom 4.1, import the tiff back into lightroom, adjust it in lightroom, and then send it back to PS (option "Edit a Copy with Lightroom Adjustments" selected) for further editing, the file won't open in PS. Opening the file directly in PS works, but without the adjustments made in lightroom.
I have tried the same with a 32 bit tiff from Photomatix. Same behaviour.

I've used lightroom for a few weeks. I was playing around with the Navigation bar settings. Now my zoom won't work.
1. When I move the cursor near a corner or edge of the photo, the cursor appears as a magnifying glass, and the zoom works just fine.
2. When the cursor is anywhere else on the photo, then the cursor appears as an arrow symbol. And when I click once or twice on the photo in order to zoom, the photo being displayed just switches to another other photo a few behind or forward in the sequence.
I used to be able to click or double click anywhere on the photo being displayed, and I could zoom in on that spot. I wish lightroom were working as it was.

When I open the import window I don't get any thumbnails (pic below), but when i click on the images, I can see them fine. Feb 12, 2014Exporting images in LR 5.3 with resize setting of "short edge" does not re-size the image at all when the option for "do not enlarge" is checked. Instead it simply exports the full sized image. This happens even if you are trying to downsize an image (in my case from a 24MP image to one that is 800px wide), in other words you are not enlarging the photos so the option for "do not enlarge" should not apply.
Other sizing options like "long edge" appear to work as expected.Have tried restarting LR but no effect. Have tried changing export setting and then changing back to "short edge", again no effect.
Lightroom :: Store Presets With Catalog Doesn't Work With Web Galleries
Jun 6, 2012I reinstalled Windows 7 and copied over my LR4 presets and galleries over to the new install. I decided to try ""Store presets with catalog" to keep things simpler next time since I do periodic backups of the catalog folder anyway, so in the future all presets are backed up at the same time as the catalog. I put the presets including a couple web gallery presets in the proper folders. LR4 recognized all presets except for the web gallery presets--when I went to the Web module it didn't list them as options. I then copied those web gallery presets to the default LR4 settings folder (C:UserXYZAppDataEtc-so-on-so-forth) at which point it recognized the presets and listed them in the Web module.
So it seems that LR4 doesn't respect the "Store presets with catalog" setting when looking for web gallery presets.
