I cannot remove old settings/measurements from Lightroom 4.1 crop custom settings panel. I thought it was supposed to remove old ones as new were added this is not happening.the panel is full and I cannot remove to add new.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI deleted a number of LR5 sidecar files (xmp) using Windows Explorer. Done deliberately!
Now, LR shows 'Sidecar files' - xmp in the metadata panel -- even though the xmp file no longer exists. Is there some way to tell LR that the file is no longer there? and remove the entry from the panel?
I'm using LR 4.4 and I'm trying to do a custom crop (I have done this a million times) 12.75" x 10" and it won't take it. However, if I go to the Print module my picture dimensions are showing correct so I go to print and it prints a totally different size. Is it a bug with 4.4 or with me?

I'm replacing my "standard" end marks with my own logo for when clients are in the studio to view image. What is a good general size for them that isn't too large? How many pixels wide (and yes i know it depends partially on how wide I have the panels set, but for the default settings on the program on a 23" moniter) is best to start with?

View 1 Replies View RelatedLet me start by describing my needs. I need to generate proofs for my shoots. I'd like to export images with different aspect ratios for target devices, ie iPad, Android phone, 16:9 TV, etc. What would be really great is if I can select a named "crop setting" in the export window and generate JPGs based on the chosen setting. I've searched all over the place, all seem to talk about presets, virtual copies, etc, which really doesn't address what I want.
Fundamentally I'd like to be able to save a handful of crop settings (unique crops but with common names) for each image. I will create the crops manually as I have to pick the position and size for each carefully. For example, on a 4000x6000 image I have these crop settings (for a fairly small area of the image):
1. iPad [settings: top-left coordinate (500,500), ratio 4:3, width2000]
2. Android [settings: top-left coordinate (500,400), ratio 8:5, width 2400]
3. HDTV [settings: top-left coordinate(500,450), ratio 16:9, width 2200]
As you can see each crop is different becasue I want to be precise about how the cropped outputs look. Then at export time, I want to be able to multi-select a bunch of images and pick say "iPad" crop setting to create the JPGs in a batch.
Is there a custom plugin outside of Lightroom that can handle this?
I am using Lightroom 4.3 on Windows 7 pc. I have a collection with approximately 650 images. I was working in the collection and had all the images selected. Somehow I inadvertently must have hit a keyboard shortcut that effected all the images. All of the images are negatively effected and they now look terrible. When I go to the History Panel, all the images have "blue filter" as their most recent entry. If I select one image and go back to the step before the "blue filter" everything looks fine again. My problem is I have this effect in 650 images. When I try and do the change in one image and then synch to the rest, I don't know what box to check to remove this "blue filter" that has been added to all the images. I know I can do them one by one, but with 650 images, it's a long and tedious process. Any way I can remove the "blue filter" from multiple images in a collection?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have both a Sony NEX 5 and a Sony NEX 7. I want to establish custom default settings specific to each camera and for each ISO setting I use in Lr. I know Lr has the capability to make default settings for specific camera bodies according to serial number. Sony did not include body serial numbers in the Exif files for the NEX camera line. Since I only have 1 each NEX 5 and 7, will my copy of Lr create separate custom default setting for my specific cameras so long as I don't add additional NEX 5/7 cameras to my Lr setup?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have created default settings by serial number for my Canon Mark III 1ds which include enabled lens profile corrections. I then created a user preset with these default corrections. Next I imported a folder of RAW images shot with this same Canon camera with the user profile checked as part of the import. When I switch to the Develop module and check the Lens Corrections panel, I see that although it is checked for each file, the actual make, model and profile are not populated.
Is this a bug or am I overlooking something on import? I understand that in LR 4, you can apply specific lens and camera calibration profiles to camera serial numbers (noise reduction etc too).

Is there a setting for the layers panel where you can set the maximum # layers or minimum that one can display on the layers panel. For some odd reason i can only set up 3 layers on the layers panel. Can you set up 8 or more layers(that become visible) on layers display. My lasso tool seems to be working normally now. etc.

I spent quite a bit of time a while back creating a custom tab panel, which displayed a collection of Lisp macros and other commands. It was set up to roll up out of sight when not needed, to give me back on-screen real estate. It has now vanished for no apparent reason. I am the only person using this machine, so I don't think it's related to any issue with changing profiles.
When I take a look inside the CUI interface I see that this tab and panel are configured with a "yes", indicating that they should be shown as part of my workspace. I've unlocked the on-screen CUI display before going to the CUI dialogue. I've also manually turned off the display of this tab and panel, then turned them on and hit "apply", before exiting the dialogue, all of this to no avail.
Is it possible to create a custom Cladding Panel in Revit Architecture, whereby the panel shows elements of both solid extrusion and void extrusions?
