After going into dreamweaver and correcting the xhtml and css pages I rezip it to an epub. When I try to open the epub in adobe digital editons it will not open. I have tried it with one page and with many pages. I am using indesign cs6. This is for a fixed epub.
This is for a children's book and I need to go into dreamweaver and put the text on top of the image for each page using css. I give it the correct height and width.
I used separate .indd files to create chapters in a ePub book using CS 5. I upgraded to CS 5.5 and created an ePub from the same files (after conversion), and noticed that the TOC was simply a listing of the filename of each .indd. I checked "Use InDesign TOC Style" under "Content" in the "EPUB Export Options" and selected the proper style, but this made no difference. In CS5, there was an option called "Suppress Automatic Entries For Documents" that eliminated this problem, but for some * dumb * reason Adobe decided to remove that check-box in CS 5.5. So how exactly do I suppress the TOC from listing every filename in CS 5.5 and instead list the selected TOC style?

Instructions are to manually load ACR 5.2 into Library/Application support/Adobe/Plug-ins/CS4/file formats after moving old file. Could not move old file so renamed it and installed new file after authenticating in response to error message "can't move. Plug in ACR 6.3 still active. View 4 Replies View RelatedSomething caused Photoshop CS3 to be corrupted so I uninstalled and reinstalled and I get the same error message. HAve been trying for a month and now I am desperate. The error message comes up with photoshop is first starting.
All it says is that Adobe Photoshop encountered an error and will now close. No numbers . . . nothing. I have uninstalled and deleted everything, ran CCLeaner afterwards and then downloaded a fresh copy, installed . . . same message. I am really in dire straits now with upcoming projects.
How do I repair or re-load Photoshop CS3 in the Master Collection? The program is acting funny after several shutdowns, the preferences have been reset...and it still is behaving badly.
I usually just un-install and re-install Photoshop occasionally to get rid of hard gremlins...but...I am concerned with Master Collection. I spent weeks trying to install the original package...and the only way I could get it to install sanely was to wipe my disk to a clean windows install and then do the Master Suite First...otherwise the install would fail after an hour of loading in.
I could have a drawing open, open up the xref, make a change in it save and close. I would get a message in the bottom corner of the drawing saying ‘RELOAD XREF’S’ I would hit that and it would update the changes I made.
I do that same change I won’t get any message saying ‘RELOAD’ and even if I type in ‘xref’ and reload the it that way, it doesn’t update any changes I made. I have to actually detach and re-attach it to see the changes I made.
Usually when I have worked on a project and close the program, the next time I open my Xara program the previous documents I was working on would load, but not now. I'm having the same problem with XPX and just cannot seem to find what I may hae changed. Having that ability was sometimes a lifesaver.

I have a drawing with 18 viewports, each one has (should have) a titleblock but xref manager tells me it is not found. Firstly, why would it now not be attached? And secondly, why am I not simply able to re-reference it? I tried to UNLOAD and DETACH it but it wont do it as there are multiple inserts. So I tried to RELOAD and ATTACH but no joy. It simply gives me the path to the referenced file (which is correct by the way) So, how do I reload the titleblock to each layout?

Now when I reload the project all the AVI clips on the timeline are "unreadable" (black and white horizontal bands) yet they have not been moved from their original folder and all clips are visible on under "video" on the "edit" page. I have even tried relinking but to no avail. All the clips still play perfectly on Media player.

Every image is there on HDD in the same folder as CDR-file. Today I opened this file and the images look very bad - one couldn't see what is pictured there. The question is how to refresh them? I don't see such an option.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have an addin which displays a form, then when I click a button operations are launched. The form is no modal, so I display it, select objects, apply, select objects, apply,... then close the form with another button (form.close).
All functions, but only on the first opened file : I open the file, use the addin, close the form. I open another file, the addin is always loaded, but when I click on the icon to display the form nothing happens... I have to unload the addin and reload it.
I have a bunch of drawings for which I have to reload the linetypes (they have to be redefined, for example pneumatic line has a new definition but the drawing has an older one). Is there a way other than rename the old linetypes, then load the newer version, then iterate through all objects and change the linetype to the newer version?

I used to be able to modify my ai file and simply replace the file or reload the footage or composition under the file menu in Aftereffects. Now that I am using CS6, no matter what I do, all of the options for replacing or reloading under File menu are grayed out.

I am having trouble getting my footage to update in an AE project.
In an existing project, there is an image sequence in a composition. I have saved and closed AE, modified the footage (same dimensions and qty. of frames, only the pixel data changes), and then re-launched AE and opened the project. Though I have changed the footage, the old content still appears. I have done the following:
Edit>Purge>All Memory
Edit>Purge>Image Cache Memory
Edit>Preferences>Media & Disk Cache>Empty Disk Cache[code].....
None of these got the footage to update. I could double-click on the footage in the project bin and scrub the play head and the old footage was still displayed.Finally I had to replace the footage with itself and that resolved the issue.
If this is operator error, lack of understanding the cache functions, or something else. I don't recall this behavior in CS 5.5, so I am guessing this is a change in CS 6.

Ok I've read about 8 articles on this forum on Youtube videos and stopping sound using the
sym.$("blah").empty();
BUT, once I've emptied the container, I want to be able to access it again and play the symbol. I don't know how to load the container once it's been emptied. I tried
sym.$("blah").empty().append (youtube);
but doesnt work.
I just need the video to load again from the beginning, I dont need youtube API integration for remembering where it stopped, I just want to reload the symbol "blah" after its been emptied.

Page 3 - on the page that says 'Nadi', behind teh slider is the video that has the empty and I just want to reload it after its been closed
I have saved my individual workspace in the correct way, but when required, it is impossible to re-load the saved version. The only option I have is to re-create the whole individual workspace time and time again, whenever it gets lost. This is something I have noticed with all photoshop versions I have worked with, and I am now on CS6. How to re-load a saved workspace manually?

How to handle this scenario:
I have several photoshop images loaded into xara and trying to make a sensible 4 way arrangement of 4 images. Imagine that one image is outsized compared to the others and needs to be cropped.
I open the original image in photoshop and make the edit, now what is the most expeditious way to refresh/replace/reload... etc the newer state into xara.
I don't see any replace/reload sort of menu item anywhere and have just been deleting the the bad image and reimporting the newer one.
