Im looking to set it it 41ms for each frame, which Ive done when prompted as I save my file, but the playback speed seems to stay at 100ms delay when I open the finished .GIF. Is it possible Gimp has trouble applying the delay to a high amount of frames? Im used alot of layers, 280 to be exact. The images/layers are from a video I previously converted to PNGs.

But when I copy and paste another picture on, when I try to use the tools, it only works on the first picture. So I ended up editing the pictures one by one on separate files, then put them together, but now, i need them on the same file so I can get the size right. How do I fix this (or can I not)?

I need to edit a GIF image file. I have it loaded and converted to RGB. I cannot find anything on any menu about edit a GIF file. It is basically a horizontal rectangle with text on the left and a color on the right, and I just need to replace the text and change the font, without disturbing anything else. It needs to "fit" back into a webpage afterwards. As far as I can see, there is only one layer, if that makes any difference.
What I want to do is select a small area of a photo and alter the brightness, contrast and saturation in it.

To create this symbol you type the Letter M, change the font to our companys symbol text and the following characters then follow. However when editing the text it is recognized as a single character. I have changed the text to outlines, however it still changes every letter when I change the color. I have went into isolation mode and it still changes every color.

I'm using fcp hotkey , by default the 'drag copy (single frame)' is mapped to ' alt-c' . Normally this will work fine. But in some case where a cfx clip is selected or my time indicator is parked on top of a cfx clip in active timeline , then do 'alt-c' will give an error message "connectfx cannot be modified inside the containers. Proceed with edit ? "
So to solve this temporarily, i have to first deselect the cfx clip or move the current positioner on top of a non-cfx clip.
we just upgraded to acad 13 at the office and now when i pick single line text to edit it the transperancy of the shading is so dark i cannot see the text line to place my cursor where i need it to be to change say.. one letter or whatever.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to print a 4" X 6" photograph from Gimp to my Canon Pixma MG6120 using the rear paper holder (that's probably not relevant).
I believe there is no setting in Gimp or on the Pixma that I have not set to 4" X 6"' (a couple of hundred times if I may be allowed a small bitch). However when the print preview comes up it shows 8.5 X 11. Maybe it's a printer issue or maybe it's something I'm doing in Gimp but I cannot figure it out.
I love Gimp although currently having some kind of problem with Python 2.6.6 (totally another issue).
Our company does not have the funds to upgrade so we are stuck with CD12. I am using using a windows 7 /64 bit machine. I created this xml template for the writers to place place their graphics in our author software.
I have 4 layers on my file - grid.guide,desktop and template. The template has the instructions and size dimensions. I have them put all graphics on the high lited desktop layer then when this is complete turn off the template layer. One can print this file with just the graphics showing with no problem.
However if I export this a PNG file both the template and desktop layers show up even though I turned off all layers. I just want the desktop layer with the graphics to show up. I have been using Adobe Illustrator for several years and this doesn't present a problem when saving the graphic as a PNG file.
I'm trying to edit some map files in the game called "Farming Simulator 2013" by GIANTS. They are png files & I can load/edit the files in paint. But after I save the files back to the proper game folder & try to run the game I get an error stating :grass_weight.png' incorrect format. Must be 8bit single channel. Is there a plug-in to save a file in this format? Am I missing something or am I just not going to be able to edit a paint,net file in paint.net? I

I'm looking to use the rippling animation on ONLY the lava layer while keeping the rest of the layers, i.e. shadows,drop shadow, background, etc. in tact.
Is this possible? I tried several different ways but couldn't make it work. So in other words, I'm only trying to animate only one layer.

As x plane uses only a single texture per object i need to create a texture which would contain all faces of a building e.g. the roof / front / back etc.. , i tried one by making a 1024x1024 area and imported the other images and saved them as a single jpg. but the texture is not showing up.

I've been using Gimp since 2.6 and had previously used PS CS2That version had the option to select a single orw or column (from the 'Select' menu).I rarely had the need for this, but I'm now working on a project that could use that feature, and Gimp doesn't seem to have it . . . I tried selecting it with the available selection tools, but I'm not having any success with a large image.If it matters, I'm running 2.8.4 on a Win7-64bit installation.

View 4 Replies View Relatedos windows 7, upgraded to Gimp 2.8.4 I open an .xcf file and go to single window mode. everthing looks ok the zero offsets on the rulers are where they should be and I can see the bottom of the gimp window where the % size change is. I then ask for a new tool bar which is provided and locked to the widow. if i go to full screen and then back the picture is pushed down as are the ruler zero's and i now can't get to the bottom of the screen. this annoying behavior does not seem to happen in multi window mode. attached is a screen capture.

You select the line, but the Selection tool actually travels a loop around the line. So, when you turn that Selection into a Path, you do not have a single line, but you instead have a loop.
So my question is this: is there any mechanism for making your Selection in GIMP just a single line so that it can then be converted into a Path?
Originally, I was trying to achieve this in Inkscape (and started a thread about it in the Inkscape forum). However, it appears that, although other Vector Art programs can achieve this, Inkscape cannot. So I was thinking that I could instead use Paths in GIMP instead, but this is not possible because of the nature of Selections, as far as I can tell.

I'm using GIMP 2.8 on a windows machine. In single window mode I accidentally dragged the edge of the toolbox across my window and now it won't drag back. I get the resizer double-headed arrow but the edge won't move. I don't know what to do. It's entirely unusable in single window mode now, which is what I usually use.
