CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X6 :: Colors Change When Send PDF File
Jun 26, 2013I jumped from using Windows XP with CorelDraw 11 to Windows 7 with CorelDraw 16, and ever since then, I have been having problems with colors changing in my PDF files. Before I send the file, I open it in Adobe Acrobat Pro to make sure the colors look correct, and they look fine..., but the person who is receiving the PDF tells me that when they open up the file, the colors change (usually to black), or nothing appears at all. What is up with this? I use Pantone Solid Coated colors in my PDF files because that is what we use to match our silk screening inks.

Jul 25, 2011I am currently using this method, creating a 1-bit bitmap from a grayscale "distress" texture bitmap, choosing transparent fill or outline depending on which area i need trasparent and powerclip it in text or other vector object.
Is there a way to achieve the same distress effect with transparency with FILL ? pattern fill maybe? eg can i save in some format this bitmap to use it maybe as a pattern in pattern fill and retain transparency ?

I had been working on a laptop for a few months and upon returning to the office I tansfered the files to my desktop to complete thr final revisions. I worked on my desktop for 3wks without no problems and then one day I went to open the files and recieved this message on all of them:"Error reading a bitmap in file"I have since tried numerous methods with no success.

CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X5 :: Imported File Contains Bitmap Filled Vector Which Cannot Break Apart?
Feb 2, 2011The imported file is probably from Illustrator. The vector element in question is text converted to curves with a CMYK bit map fill. CorelDraw X5 seems unable to extract the bitmap fill from the vectors. What's up with this, is there anyway to extract the bitmap fill?

Mar 13, 2006I am currently building a website using photoshop and dreamweaver for a uni project. I am using photoshop to produce the images & text which I then export as JPEG's into the layers in dreamweaver. Obviously as these are only JPEG images, none of the individual text is 'live' within the site, and I cant put in hyperlinks etc.
My question is: is there a way of making the images I create 'live' when they are online, so the end user could copy text from the site, or click on a hyperlink? Either with photoshop or with imageready?

Jul 25, 2012I do not understand how to convert files so that my CNC program can use them. I am new to cnc machining and most of my files are in vector format and created using Corel Draw X3. I now have X6 but have not tried to convert them from there yet.
I understand that most cnc software programs want to see files in a DFX format. I tried saving to dxf from X3 but they are a mess when I open them in Desk CNC, my cnc software.
Since my files are already vector it would seem as though a cad program like Auto-cad would be able to open the files I save in a dxf format correctly. Something to do with the nodes, they are gaps between them so they are not connected.

Jul 15, 2011I have a customer trying to send a attachment with a particular font -- GlastonburyD -- and I am trying to explain the process on how to make such an attachment, I thought to ask the font gurus here if there is an alternate font that matches.
I can open the font in OpenOffice3 with the attached .docx she sent and it will display the font in the dropdown list, I, for the life of me, can not find a font folder anywhere in the program's file.

Jan 7, 2013X5 just crashed and a dialogue showed up asking med to contact Corel support and send them the DMP file.
I find it a little strange that they don't offer a direct upload option of the DMP file as a part of this dialogue, but it's probably me who is a little strange...
Anyway. Is there an email address or something where I can send this DMP file? It would be much faster than getting in touch with Corel support.
