I am exporting my image into another program Bling it, and when its time to cut my image its not on the page to cut. Also do you know if I can set up my corel to my plotter to cut directly? Instead of sending to another program.

I've been able to copy images in an indirect way (LR to an earmarked folder on my PC's hard drive, then to the iPad using Apple's I-Tunes). But editing and arranging images is fairly awkward.
There are LR functions to upload to some web sites, e.g., Flicker, but none to devices like the iPad. (Exporting to smaller sites such as Nikonians would be nice but I suspect there's not enough demand for Adobe to bother with this embellishment.
Is it likely that export functions will be expanded to include the iPad and other devices?
this is a really seperate plea, we have bought a plotter cutte and trying to plot/cut but can only get the device to plot/cut A4 size - we have been told to obtain a plug in - I cannot find any information on excatrly what plug in to obtain. The plotter cutter is a Gold cut JK 1351

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've created a block with the subtitles in a dwg file. The subtitles contain images (logo). I use this block to create layouts in other files and i can see the images. I'm using the Autocad LT 2014 trial.
The problem is when i send the files to someone else, the pictures dont apear. I've tried to insert these images as OLE images, but they still dont appear.
I just want to send dwg files with the images without having to send the images as an attachment.

Is there a third party software that can take what is on the CorelDRAW Screen and sent it to the cutter with one click of the button. Something that does not open another program or that I have to import the design to. I want to simply click a button and start cutting.
what software you are using, How much you paid for it and what you like most about it. I am looking to increase production in the shop and if the design is all ready to cut, IE no overlapping lines, sized properly, etc. then why can we just send it to the cutters. Right no I have FlexiSign and hate the time it takes to Export, Import, Fix, then send to cut. The transition from a CorelDRAW file to that program drives me nuts and I just cant find a good filter to use that does not make me fix something that is just fine in CorelDRAW.
Using LR v5.3 and Windows 8.1
For my particular workflow, I find that loading thumbnails as step 1 of the import process to not be of much value for me.
I would prefer to load all images from the camera CF card directly into my "Import" folder in Lightroom without having to first view and select images for import.
Step 2 for me would then distribute the images into other named folders in LR prior to the development, skipping the thumbnail phase of the process.
So, the Q: Is there any setting that allows importation into a selected folder in LR without first going through the thumbnail process?
I recently purchased Coreldraw Home and Student Suite from my local computer store, on there advice that this would work with a vinyl plotter.
I have since installed the software and it has not worked as it is not compatible with vinyl plotters.

One of the things I need to do occasionally is print an uncommon sized image. For example, I may crop part of an image as a 2x3 to fit in an odd picture frame, such as a Chrstimas ornament. However, most places I print (e.g. CVS) only print common sizes. In the past I've used Elements to create a blank new image in a common size and pasted my crop into it (which is a little tricky because you have to make sure the new image and the crop have the same resolution), but I'd like to be able to do this directly in Lightroom.

I do not understand how to convert files so that my CNC program can use them. I am new to cnc machining and most of my files are in vector format and created using Corel Draw X3. I now have X6 but have not tried to convert them from there yet.
I understand that most cnc software programs want to see files in a DFX format. I tried saving to dxf from X3 but they are a mess when I open them in Desk CNC, my cnc software.
Since my files are already vector it would seem as though a cad program like Auto-cad would be able to open the files I save in a dxf format correctly. Something to do with the nodes, they are gaps between them so they are not connected.
When I try to open about 90% of my files, I can't. I get an error with a yellow caution triangle with an exclamation point. it says "Error Reading C:UsersSignsPlusDesktop.......
So I end up dragging everything to a new page. That works fine but it's a pain ending up with multiples of everything.

I can open the font in OpenOffice3 with the attached .docx she sent and it will display the font in the dropdown list, I, for the life of me, can not find a font folder anywhere in the program's file.
My corel x4 was coryupt and I had to install my older Corel 12.
Options on this corel are different. So in Corel 12, how do i change the settings so that when I double click on an image, it will open it in Corel photo for editing?
Can the items in the Contents Folder (e.g. Frames, pictures, etc.) be opened directly into Photoshop CS6 without first being opened in CorelDRAW X6. I have both programs, and it would be great if I had access to those objects whenever I'm using Photoshop.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI jumped from using Windows XP with CorelDraw 11 to Windows 7 with CorelDraw 16, and ever since then, I have been having problems with colors changing in my PDF files. Before I send the file, I open it in Adobe Acrobat Pro to make sure the colors look correct, and they look fine..., but the person who is receiving the PDF tells me that when they open up the file, the colors change (usually to black), or nothing appears at all. What is up with this? I use Pantone Solid Coated colors in my PDF files because that is what we use to match our silk screening inks.

Will Corel6 (or later) ever be able to export to a web page directly since the HTLM export doesn't work (drops links). The Corel Web program, or what ever its name is, was a joke. Its amazing that Corel work puts its name on a program that you could not open a CorelDraw file.
My current work around is to export to a JPG and then import that into dreamweaver and add the links there, then post. A pain but it works.
let's say I have a page with 6 images and 6 captions. is there anyway to crop out more than one at a time and save them? Currently I have to crop out all but one, then save that one, then reload the image and crop out another one and save etc over and over. is there a better way?
