CorelDRAW X6 :: JPEG Export - Keep Getting Random Columns Of White Pixels To Right Of Graphic Image
Aug 24, 2012
When I am exporting a jpg from CorelDraw X6, I keep getting random columns of white pixels to the right of the graphic image. If I switch the matte color in the export dialogue to black, I get random amounts of black pixels. In X4, when I would export a jpg, the resulting file would be cropped right to the image edge, with no extra pixels. I'm getting anywhere from 1 to as many as 8 columns of extra pixels on the right hand side, which is problematic for utilizing the resulting files for page layout.
I achieve the same results when choosing "Export for Office" and "Export for Web".
I'm running a 64-bit install on a Win 7 64-bit box.

Quick question, I just created a logo and I'm wondering if there is a way to export the logo into jpeg without the white background. I create posters for my husbands business and it will not be a problem when i add our logo to our posters because I can just remove the background myself.
My problem will be when I have to send the logo to other companies, they usually ask for the logo in jpeg. I've already exported the logo into a jpeg but of course the white document background appears. Is there any way to export ONLY the logo into a jpeg?

If you use win 7 64 bit and corel x4, try to export to png or jpg 330 x 250 pixels. Does it works fine or it exports to 330 x 249 like in my case.

I have accidentally made my drawing in black and shades of black (grey) on a white background in Photoshop. Is there a way I can delete the white pixels only and then have only the grey and black pixels remaining? If possible, I don’t want a hard pixellated edge where the white and grey/black pixels meet.
What I want remaining is only the black and grey lines with a transparent background.

I can enter negative graph data and have the affected graph bars extend below the 0 line no problem.
with flatm 2D-appearing column designs, this isn't much problem; graph column designs which are meant to be 3D in appearance, ie with depth/both, simply appear flipped and the bottoms of such columns don't respect the correct vanishing point, such as a 3D solid bar type column. Is there a way to make such dimensional graph bars look correct visually when their data values go negative?

I'm working on a very small scale, and need to find a way to make an image which consists of 4 colors, randomly spread around the 16x16 pixels.
I have not been abel to get the desired affect with any of the noise filters, so I was thinking I could make 4 layers, one with each color, delete the parts I don't want and just merge them down.
Now, with such a small scale, I could do the work by hand, but I have to repeat the process at least a dozen times, and I want it to look truly random.

Every time i make a JPEG image it comes out with a thin white line at the bottom and left side of the image (kinda looks like a border line). Is there any way to take that off? I can't seem to make a seamless black pattern with those lines there....

When I export an image from CorelDraw to a jpeg, or png, (or probably anything for that matter) and try to use it in my web design program I get the little 1 pixel wide white line. WTH? I then have to take it into corel photo paint and erase that one pixel line, in order for it to be gone.
I've used Corel Draw since version 4 I think and this problem has existed in every version Corel has put out. I like the product, I find it easy to use but this glitch is maddening.

How can i remove the white space from this JPEG image (attached to this post) so that I can overlap it with another image without the white space showing?
The image is actually saved as a rectangle with the white space on the top right hand corner, where it curves.

I'm very new to corel and i just finished designing a poster but i need to add logos. the problem i'm having is that they're in jpeg and they have a white background. i need to remove the white background. i've tried the magic wand and then going to mask and invert. the problem with this is that i can still see quite a bit of white around the logo. An easier way or do i need to go in and clean up the edges in photo paint's cut out lab? i can do this but it just seems like a lot of work and i have to work with about 15 logos.

When I choose an object and choose "Export", when I save it as a jpeg, the object edges are always way too close to the edge/border/square of the created jpg image. It is like I need to create a border around the object before I export it or something.
I want to but an object on the background (the original 'blank page' square or whatever color or image I choose as the background for that square)... Then, when I export as a jpg, I want the background to be in the jpeg (which it usually is), BUT without the object being right on the edges of the background. When I export as a pdf, the object stays in the same spot in relationship to the background. But for some reason when I export it as a jpeg, the object (s) always take up the whole background. When the object is text, it is crammed right on the edge of the jpeg image.
Do I need to weld the object (s) to the background somehow before I export? And if I did that, how would I then select the combined "object/background object" to then save it as a jpeg?

I have a file that has 30 pages. I want to export each page as a jpg having a resolution of 200dpi. Using File>export option 30 times is a time consuming and cumbersome process. Is there a quick way to do it. Like I give a command for 30 jpegs export and corel makes 30 jpeg files for me for each corresponding page?

I have pictures that have different objects over a canvas like/un uniform back ground.
I need to remove that background without any part of the objects them self.
I mange to get most of the background out using the magic wand , but i'm left with many random single/groups of noise pixels left in the picture since they were not captured with the magic wand.
most of the time i can remove those using the eraser or use the selection tools with different shapes around the pixels and press delete.
but those methods take lots of time, specially around a complex objects and as i'm getting near to them, i need to make my selections/eraser radius smaller and smaller.
I have tried to use a plugin called "Reduce Noise" that i found , but it does not work.
faster way how to remove this noise pixels without any part of the objects?
a plugin that "scans" the image/selected area and remove all pixels that are surrounded by transparency in it?
p.s I can't always select only the object/s itself/them self and just move it/them to a new picture.
p.s.2 maybe a plugin that the user can choose up to what size, a group of pixels, should be removed ?

I am trying to send a file to a printer for a banner for a client. They only accept a pdf or jpeg at 100% scale at minimum 150dpi resolution.
I banner is over 12 metres long (12,935mm X 1100mm) and only contains vector items.
I am using corel draw x5 and have installed service pack 3. And it won't let me do either.
The largest jpeg corel will let me export at 150 dpi is 5080mm long. Any way to export larger jpeg?
When i export to pdf the resulting pdf is just blank! When I import the pdf back into corel, it imports back into corel perfectly and there doesn't seem to any issues (even tho the pdf is blank). however when I sent the file to the printer, they said it was blank as well. I read some forums that said pdfs have a limit of around 5metres, which explains the pdf issue. Even though the printer told they print pdfs larger than 5 metres all the time.

Other than the obvious to export images before I edit them, or duplicating and removing all alterations after selecting and editing I don't see an easy way to do this in LightRoom. In Aperture I would select Export Original Photo, and then choose JPEG as format. It appears to me that the only Export Original Photo option in LightRoom will do just that...export a true original - meaning in RAW format. Not useful. I need to export JPEGs of my final selects, both in the edited form, and in the original unedited form as JPEGs.
On another similar note, is there any way to see the switch between the original unedited photo and the edited photo?Meaning true original, pre crop / rotation and all? Love the option to see just the other adjustments, but I often would like to see what my crop has done as well to the image quickly. Aperture had a true "Original Master" viewing capability.
Other than these two things, I am loving the transition to LightRoom!
