I'm looking for a kind Coreldraw user who can convert supplied illustrator .eps files into usable DWG files.
I'm an illustrator user and the two do not play well together (AI & DWG) - splines do not always convert as splines. Especially so, when Sketchup is involved in the mix!
From what I've read on-line, Coreldraw will play nicely with all three. If after initial testing we find a good working practice I am happy to discuss remuneration on a per file basis. I have attached a zip file as an example

Have an original 4-colour CMYK ImageI want to turn it into K only greyI want to turn it into a 3-colour CMY only greyI want to turn it into a 4-colour CMYK grey onlyI want to compile one composite image with top half being the K onlyBottom Left to be 3-colour CMY grey onlyBottom Right to be CMYK grey only
This exercose is to show one image output in the above scenarios but showing grey balance output.

Does AutoDesk's ScriptPro will run on AutoCAD LT for drawing conversions? We have some CNC equipment which uses DXF files. We have had to convert the DXF files generated by our steel detailing software to DXF2000 using ScriptPro and AutoCAD in order for the CNC equipment to accept the file. ('Wondering if LT's lesser cost will be able to perform the same function.)

I created a dwg of a guitar body I plan in building. However, I realized that I didn't set the units properly in the beginning and it is in feet when it should be in inches. For example, the neck dip is 2 3/16 feet when it should be 2 3/16 inches. Is there a way to convert this without completely starting over?

CS 6 raw conversions of Nikon Raw files, it makes a blank thumbnail with only the image file name, it does not do this in CS 5.

I have a utm .tif and .tfw files which I need to convert into a wgs84 ascii file (csv ideally) with the full list of x,y and z values. The UTM needs to become geocodes and it needs to be in ascii. I am using Civil 3D 2012.

Resetting the User Setting with the the F8 key didn't solve the problem. Once the user gets caught up on a couple projects I'll try to update the version to SP3 and the hotfix.

Is the PAT file different from X5 to X6?
I downloaded X6 and I see that it supports and creates transparent pattern files but when I tried to import to corel X5 it says its not supported

I create new files in Corel X3. Even if their content is very small and simple (ex. one line), after saving these files have above 1 MB and it takes very long to open them.

This is very troubling. I work with Autocad files, currently Acad 2010 is being used in the office.
I'm trying to import a siteplan for coloring, and I can't get the darn thing into X5. I import as a .pdf (created from Autocad) and I get a "file is corrupt" error. I'm used to that in X3, with Adobe upgrading the .pdf standard, but X5 should be able to read these files, right? This is the solution I'd prefer as it would be a one-step process, all lineweights and text spacing, etc. shouldn't change from the original file. At least one would think so.
If I import as a .dwg or .dxf, I get the expected dialogs, but after the font-matching dialog, CorelDraw shuts down with no explanation! Poof! I've gone back 15 years saved the .dxf as release 14 and still, poof!
I'm going to have to use X3 until this gets resolved...

we use CorelDraw X5 to make cartographies on building plans with several layers of - mostly - polylines drawings (one layer = one building material type or one weathering form type) and we must give them back to architects who use AutoCAD.
We already tried several times to export the .cdr to .dxf or .dwg files, but till now, the architect seems to be able to open the files, but our cartographie is quite illegible: only some parts of the layers are visible and it seems that some layers are not visible at all...

I need to export on a regular basis parts of a X6 file to eps. The files are huge an can contain all sorts of filter. They are all powerclips, some with shadows and transparency and symbols containing JPG's.
When i export the first part of it most at the time it works well, exporting the second set I am ending up with only half the data. If I copy and past into a new document and try from there I might get lucky or some other parts are missing, if I reduce the size by 50 percent same thing.

When I export my CDR file to EPS, which I've done thousands of time, it seems to export, but when I try to open it, I get an error "The file.......is an unknown format and cannot be opened". When I look at the file profile in my documents, I can see that it says "0 KB"
I can open up older EPS files from my documents fine, but not able to do that now.

I purchased Corel draw thru my work(college). Version X6 arrived. I installed the two hot fixes and things started to break. They are as follows:
Issue 1 - Printing to a PFD" file crashes x6.2
Issue 2 - tried to save file to an earlier version 14.0 to use on a epilog laser and the files are now corupt and can not be save as version 16.0 any more.
Issue 3 - Files saved to version 14.0 format can not be opened corel draw x5 for the laser to cut.

I've recently purchased a monthly subscription to Corel Draw X6, but my clients use Corel 12 and told me they couldn't view the file (when opening it, it seems to be empty). I tried several times and still had the same problem. We came to the conclusion it might be a question of incompatibility.
Is there any problem of compatibility between CorelDraw X6 and Corel 12? Where could I download Corel 12 in order to avoid future problems..

I was asked to make a big banner 525cm x 250cm. After completing it in few minutes I tried publishing it to pdf but i constantly get an empty white pdf file.After few tests i figured out that I can correctly publish any file that is smaller than 500cm but anything above gives me an empty pdf.
Have you faced any similar problems?

I was sent a file from AI for reproduction in .eps format. Corel X6 distorts the art on import or open. The same file given to me as a pdf is fine. Corel Draw's strength is it's import abilities, and I expected X6 to cope with anything Adobe could throw at it from current releases.

Most of the ai files I receive show to be compressed and I cannot do anything with them. I think I should be able to open them with CD X4, which is installed alone and also in a bundle with my Wilcom digitizing program.
Someone indicated that the two installations on one computer could cause problems, but it is convenient having both readily available.

When I'm done drawing something on Corel, I can't save, save as, save as template, export, send to, print, merge or publish. I can't even cut or copy, I can only paste. I can't run scripts or add-ons either. I don't have a trial, and I have Windows XP. I've had Corel for months before this problem happened out of the blue.?

I've recently upgraded to Corel Draw X5 having used many previous versions (back to Corel 6) but i'm having a few issues when importing .EPS files.
I normally do a design in AutoCAD, then export to .eps, then import into Corel.
Im finding an issue though, when I import an EPS that contains text, the middle section of the text will not combine and fill correctly.
For example, if I were to import a letter "Q" when I then combine the outer section to the middle section in previous versions the letter would appear normally, with a "Hollow" inner section. However, in X5, I combine the letter and the inner section does not combine with the outer section, leaving me with a solid black symbol, with the outline of a letter "Q" but no centre piece to define the actual character.

I'm trying to install the EPS font file in Corel Draw X6 and can't seem to get it to work. The Font Navigator can't find the font and the "Install EPS" function in CDX6 just dumps an image of the whole font into whatever I'm working on.
