I've got a weird issue. Just spent some time on fixing up my logo. Ended up using both Text and creating my own/warping existing text to make the font.
Looks ok.
But anyways, I have a little bit of an issue. The center of the O (font not hand made) is not showing in NORMAL view but shows just fine in Wireframe.
when I select an object there is a little x that shows the center of the object, useful when trying to locate an object in an exact spot. The x is black and sometimes it is difficult to see where it is on a dark background, so is there a way to change the color of this x?

I have become very attached to having the mouse scroll wheel 'auto center the view at the cursor point' when I scroll in and out...I am not too happy with the new 'hold the wheel down and move the screen position' feature on x6. Can the old wheel configuration/centering be activated in x6?

I have a rigged, poly character, and when trying to change the view to wireframe, I changed the display resolution of the character. I think I maybe hit "3" instead of "4". But now the charactere is displayed with the low-poly cage surrounding the smoothed geometry, and I do not know how to switch the display back so I do not see the low poly cage any longer.
I am attempting to import 3d models from a software called Daz studio into Maya. The models enter motionbuilder and 3ds Max with no problem. When I import them into Maya they come in as wireframe. I have been unable to take the wireframe off of the model. The file format I am using is FBX. wHEN I RENDER an image of the model i am able to see it in it's realistic form-but when i attempt to see it in the viewport it is wireframe.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a part that was made from content center and modified further. I would like Inventor to no longer recognize this part as a content center part. It has been renamed and migrated to 2013 format, but still when inserting into an assembly the assembly recognizes it as a content center part in the browser.
Also, the browser title for the part will not update with the file name.
Whenever i open up a CR2 file in photshop the screen that pops up is meant to be grey but instead it shows up black with most of the txt showing, i can still use the sliders to fix the picture but it doesnt feel right

I like to make my edits occasionally in wireframe, and as I began to manipulate or move nodes around, the minute I finish editing the first node or a group of nodes, all of the nodes vanish. The only thing that is present in wireframe after they disappear is the object (or line that I am editing) no nodes.
Now, I have learned that if I zoom in or out, they appear again, I would have to continuously do this in order to make edits in wireframe. I do not have this problem in Enhanced View.

Is there any way to stop the flipping of the solid/sketch view from iso to normal?
its annoying to make changes to a sketch and constantly have to re orient the part after finishing a sketch, I dont want the solid model to return to iso view after sketching, is there a setting for this?
Recently I have had two assemblies change at random times to a monochrome color and I cannot change them back to their respective colors. I can open sub-assemblies and they show as the correct color but when I close them the main assembly and the recently open sub-assembly go back to monochrome. When placed on a drawing sheet they appear the correct color on the screen and printed in color. The Visual Style is Shaded With Edges.

Ive created a dwf with multiple sheets (an electrical set, in this example). I sent it to a client who marked it up in Autodesk Design Review and sent it back to me. I inserted it (insert/dwf markup) and it comes into the revit14 drawing file just fine but all the comments are on the SHEET and not in the view. This is very inconvenined becuase I must open the view, make the change, exit the view, edit the dwf comment and repeat over and over. How does one get/force the person doing the markup to work within the VIEW?

I use Edit PLus Version 2 for data entry...no formatting at this stage.Then , I copy and paste it it in Corel DRAW.Formatting for font, line breaks, paragraph breaks etc. is done in DRAW.Then I ‘Publish to PDF’ and I get very clean PDF file....absolutely no issues.The fonts are developed by local vendor and are Type 1 format. I never print them.
Some of my recipients have printed on laser printers.They too had no problems.I send them as attachments with my emails.
About two months ago, I purchased and started using X6.Here the PDF file appears very faint.
The same thing happened with X5 also.I am not able attach same PDF files as they are around 1 MB ...with the same text and all other parameters.
Elevations existing ground gives in the band not the correct value, I putted everything in meters but it still doesn t match with the label that gives the correct elevation, same problem with the offset distance in the band.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm currently Building a Library Technology Hub that has 3 story atrium. I'm trying to create a 3d camera view that shows the multiple levels that open to the atrium. However, only the 1st floor and mezanine floor (within 1st floor ceiling heights) are in my 3d view. The rendred view shows as if I have a solid ceiling across the entire 1st floor. I am almost positive that this is an issue with my camera settings since my 2nd and 3rd floors are cut around the atrium opening. I have clicked on almost every option in my properties menu and am at a loss!
Just btw, I'm an intermediate level, self-taught revit user (I have used it on a daily basis for about a year now). I'm no guru, but I'm quite savvy on making things work like I want them to.
I have attached a test render of the space. the "ceiling" should be open above my mezanine, and extend to desk at the right and the lounge seating at the left. However, it has rendered as a single plane.
Trying to do two variations of an assembly using representations. I turned sub-assemblies off in different representations by unchecking "visibility." I can switch back and forth between representations in the assemby and the sub-assemblies go on and off, but drawing views where I've selected a given representation still show the "invisible" assemblies.

I have a drawing that I created (.dwg) in Inventor 2013 that, when opened, is completely blank. However, when in the File>Open dialog box, I can click on the name of the drawing and the preview shows the complete drawing with all views fully dimensioned. I closed Inventor, laucned AutoCAD and tried opening the same file and it was still blank (no views). I then closed that file and open the old version of the file from the, "OldVersions" folder with Autocad and all the views and dimensions were there.
So I launced Inventor again and reopened the offending print and noticed that the model is not shown in the drawing's model tree. I'm 100% positive that I did not delete this model/view from the drawing before saving the file. This is a small drawing and it will only take me a few mintues to recreate it.
I'm using Inventor 2013, SP1.1

Sometimes when I view vector art on the screen the letter I shows up extra wide and big, but the printed version works fine. Example below. This only happens some of the time to me, but not always with the same piece of artwork. I think this must be a common problem.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI run a HP DV6 Laptop with Core I7 and Windows 7. While editing my photos my computer appeared to over heat (which is a recurring issue that I'm working to resolve) during mid-post production. Upon restarting my computer, and when I accessed the same photos, I got a very lengthy loading icon when I clicked on a photo under the "Develop" tab. This problem recurred and in attempt to resolve the problem I decided to delete the library and re-import the files. Upon re-import, I cannot view all the photos in the library grid view. I'm not sure if my files are now corrupt from the sudden crash or is it just a data issue with LR?

I'm creating 3D architectural models; primarily interior views. I use the ANIPATH command quite frequently and I'm good there.
However, I have not been able to render a still camera view that shows the lighting and resultant shadows. Whenever I attempt to render a still from a particular camera; I set it to realistic. It shows the 3D objects with materials; however not the lighting.
I've been using ACAD for about 15 years now, and consider my skill level upper-intermediate.
So far, the only successful still renderings I've been able to do are those directly associated with the typical ortho views: i.e., NE, NW, SE, SW, front, back, etc. But no avail on rendering from the camera point of view.
RAW files (Red) no longer show their filenames in the Library Grid Compact Cells view (now just shows numbers)!
JPGs (Green & Blue) show nothing at all, including ratings and Pick status, and the Develops are gone.
This was after having imported a LR3.6 catalog and intermittently using it for a month.
Data:
- Catalog is over 1GB in size, over 50,000 images in the Library
- Windows 7 x64 with SP1
- LR4.0 x64
I have not yet tried:
- Re-importing the LR3 Catalog backup to see what happens.
- Creating a new LR4 Catalog and see if it displays the data in the Grid Compact Cells view

View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm using corel draw x5 and my monitor shows white as very light yellow, the only way to stop this is to change the color conversion settings to none which then turns all the colours to RGB which don't relflect the colour that would be printed.
My monitor is a Dell U2410.
I have CS5.
In InDesign, I can select an object anywhere on the page and when I enlarge the view with Ctrl-+, the object is centered on the computer screen.
Illustrator does not do this. But, is there some kind of setting I can click on to make this happen? It would save me a lot of time to have this feature turned on, if it exists.
I am trying to make a png (tried a gif too) by going to File >>> Export for Web.

The image displays in comparison window as transparent but when I save this image and upload it on my website, the background changes to black instead of transparent.
I am using windows 7 Premium (64 bit) and Corel Draw X5.
