CorelDRAW Graphics Suite X6 :: Import HTML Including Styles?
May 27, 2013
I am wondering if there is a way to import e.g. a table from a website without loosing the styles (CSS stylesheets). I want the table to be printable - so the resolution of a screenshot is too low.
I need to batch convert a Harddisk full of Corel Draw (12) files. All CPT Files need to be converted to PSD or PNG and all CDR to AI or EPS.Sure I can do that with a batch process but it does only one folder at a time. What I like to do is Batchprocess all folders including subfolders. The New image shall be named like the old one.
Thought I can do it with ACDSee but it looks like it does not Support Corel Draw.I got the Corel Draw Graphic Suite 12 and ACDSee 8. Is there a script that can do it with corel draw?
I'm new at Dreamweaver and have a file in Corel X4 saved. I am trying to have it either saved as a psd file with good quality dpi layers or have it accessible in dreamweaver.
Is it possible to create an image with different points that are linked to URL's with CorelDraw Graphics Suite X5? I create wordpress websites for clients and I have a client that wants a map with "blinking" identifiers for their different locations. Then when you hover over their "blinking" identifiers they want an image of that location to pop up. Any thoughts on how I could handle this?
When I export the image quality is poor. I tried all settings but it does not get better. E.g. I used JPEG, progressive, highest quality. What is the reason for that?
Is there maybe a macro for styles (either text or graphics) that
1. connects objects assigned with a style, to that style LIVE? eg, altering the style properties, automatically all objects assigned with that style will adopt those changes too,
2. offers LOT more configuration options than the current default CorelDraw styles options
Problem with text styles: I have a big body of text, with several styles applied. The problem is, editing one of the styles does not affect the text that has this style applied to it. Changing the style or creating a new style does not work - it's like these particular parts of text are immune to editing the style. It works only when I select the text and manually apply the style. Further editing the style does not affect this text, I have to manually select it and apply the style again.
In CDraw X5 I can choose line styles. But I would like to add some more styles (and to remove some that I never use).I only found a possibility to create new styles based on a kind of a pixel approach: A one-by-many array of single squares can be marked to be coloured of white, producing dashed lines with any kind of dash length. Also, the dash "frequency" seems to be dictated by the line width only; I do not manage to make thin dashed lines with a reasonably visible dash frequency.
However, I would like to make line consisting of other shapes, like circles, triangles, diamonds, etc., either filled or "open". Or make thin dashed lines with user-specifiec dash and space lengths that do not change when changing the line width. Is this possible?
Also, multi-colour dashes – with e.g. odd-numbered dashes in one colour and even-numbered ones in another color – might be useful.
In the current version, however, the number of dash schemes available is big enough to be confusing. Especially when the line is made relatively wide – say, 0,5 .. 1 mm or so – and I want to make more lines with the same shape, than it is difficult to find again the same shape the list of standard shapes. Is it possible to add names (or numbers, but not just running numbers!) to the shapes, so that a shape can be found again easily?
Will Corel6 (or later) ever be able to export to a web page directly since the HTLM export doesn't work (drops links). The Corel Web program, or what ever its name is, was a joke. Its amazing that Corel work puts its name on a program that you could not open a CorelDraw file.
My current work around is to export to a JPG and then import that into dreamweaver and add the links there, then post. A pain but it works.
I have a 900 x 500 px image in Adobe Illustrator, which overlaps a bit the canvas on the left side.
When I open this file with Corel, it adjusts my graphics so that it's centered on the screen. The AI file is centered on another point. Also, the canvas Corel creates is A4 sized. I always have to resize the canvas and then manually adjust the position of my graphics.
Question: How can I save an AI file so that when I open it at Corel, the position and size of the canvas will be exactly the same?
I'm perfectly happy with the TrueType font (BankGothic Md BT), but all the style settings change to the T1 equivalent every time I close, and when I open the file again the T1 text does not show up. I can go through and reset all the styles, then re-apply them, but it wastes a lot of time.
I was wondering why Batang and Arial were appearing in the Fonts under Document Properties when I had not actively used them in my "New" document.
When I looked at the Default text files, I believe I see the reason. I find Batang listed as the default Asian Text font for both Artistic and Paragragh Text. The options for Asian Text don't seem to include any fonts that I have on the old machines.
Similarly, the Middle East Default Text style would seem to generate the Arial(Arabic) entry in the required fonts.
Is there a way to completely eliminate the default Asian Text and Middle East entries from the default text styles?
I have just upgraded to Draw X6 and am having a problem importing multichannel photoshop .dcs or Illustrator .eps (with placed bitmap) files. When importing, the graphic appears upside down. Other oddities in this situation:
-This only happens to rastered images, not vector.
-If I try to flip it right-side-up the image goes blank as if it didn't get a screen refresh. But remains blank even with a manual refresh or zooming in/out, etc. -In wireframe view it looks correct. -It prints correctly also
I recently started working with X5 and am having a few issues with the importing of palettes.I have created a couple of very large swatch palettes (about 1044 colors) in Photoshop CS4 and Illustrator CS4 that I would like to not have recreate in X5 (each swatch is custom named).
The photoshop swatch palette is saved as an .ACO file. I am able to open the .ACO palette in X5, however, the CMYK values do not match, and the custom name does not transfer.
-As an example, my custom black swatch in the .ACO file is called A1 and its CMYK value is 60, 49, 47, 100. However, when opened in X5 it is only identified by its CMYK value, which has changed to 29, 22, 29, 30 (which is more of a semi-dark grey than a black). In fact, all of the colors look as if they have been desaturated by 50-75% (that's a huge guesstimate on my part).
After struggling with my .ACO palette I thought I would try to import my .AI file.
X5 gives the option to open a palette that was created in Illustrator if the palette itself is saved as an .AI (which can be done directly from the swatch menu in AI. I have tried opening my .AI palette in X5- it allows me to chose the file, however, nothing happens.
I've imported a pdf template (2x2 labels) into corel draw. I've finished designing the first label and want to fill in the rest of the sheet. will not allow me to cut and paste.
When I open or import a DWG into CorelDraw X6 it changes the colors (see image).
I tried changing the Color Management Settings to Minimal Color Management which is suppose to preserve the original color when opening, importing, and pasting, but that doesn't work.
we are developing a Website where users can design individual labels and other print materials. Server-sided "PDFlib" creates the PDF files. We would like to import these PDF's into Corel X6.
File: [URL]........
Created with: PDFlib Personalization Server 8.0.4p2 (PHP5/Linux-X86_64)
PDF-Version: 1.6 Compression: FlateDecode/
Fonts: no fonts embedded In the pdf are vector objects, graphics and text
I can open the PDF easily with Adobe Illustrator, Reader, Adobe Acrobat X Pro and other software.
But if I try to import the PDF into Corel: "Corrupt file"
I import dxf file created in CadKey or SolidWorks. I have done this thousands of times but all of a sudden they do not import in the correct orientation x/y plane. They appear to be importing on the edge. I have gone back to old dxf files that have worked perfectly in the past and they no longer import correctly.
Have I, unknowingly, changed some setting on Corel that effects the import of dxf files?
I'm trying to import into Coreldraw X3 files which were emailed to me by an Adobe CS4 user:
[URL]
(they are attached via a wetransfer link because as I found out the file size limit here is 256k and I cannot compress the files down to that size.) After reading several of the threads here, I'm not any smarter. I've tried various settings to import the .pdf, and regardless of which option I choose, I get a file corrupted error - it looks like the pdf version output to from Illustrator is flat out not supported by coreldraw. it opens fine in foxit reader, which tells me it's pdf 1.5 version.the .eps imports as a group of 542 objects but I cannot see any of these objects in the Object Manager docker.
