When I export the image quality is poor. I tried all settings but it does not get better. E.g. I used JPEG, progressive, highest quality. What is the reason for that?

Corel Draw Home && Student Suite X5 / Win 7.
Problem: All images are poor quality. I've tried clicking on enhanced view. That didn't work. This is across Draw, Photo Paint and Connect. I tried to alter a logo in Paint a year ago. I thought maybe it was just my machine causing the problem. But, I emailed to my brother and it was just as blurry on his machine. I've tried to look at Clip Art and the vector images are really bad--especially ones from previous versions of Corel.
I am making new business cards using CorelDraw. When I save the business card to a PDF file and download it to Vistaprint, the text does not look sharp as it does in CorelDraw. Is there a way to download without being blurry?
View 7 Replies View RelatedWill Corel6 (or later) ever be able to export to a web page directly since the HTLM export doesn't work (drops links). The Corel Web program, or what ever its name is, was a joke. Its amazing that Corel work puts its name on a program that you could not open a CorelDraw file.
My current work around is to export to a JPG and then import that into dreamweaver and add the links there, then post. A pain but it works.
I'm trying to export an image to HTML.
CorelDRAW only creates 4 images out of the one CorelDRAW images.
Is there a way to reduce the number of images to one?
Is it possible to create an image with different points that are linked to URL's with CorelDraw Graphics Suite X5? I create wordpress websites for clients and I have a client that wants a map with "blinking" identifiers for their different locations. Then when you hover over their "blinking" identifiers they want an image of that location to pop up. Any thoughts on how I could handle this?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am trying to do a bitmap trace of an image. The resulting vector is OK, except that, between every shape of a single color, there is a line, and that line is made a color, either transparent, or a specified color - and thickness.
The preview creates a desired result, but the end product is the problem. When I click on the vector, I can change the color of the lines between the colors in the vector, and in the dockers, I can change the thickness to "none" but a line still exists between the shapes. The previews are just fine, what can I do to make this guy not look like a puzzle? Its as if the shapes in the vector do not touch each other. The previews show no lines between the shapes/colors, except in the final output.

currently, I use the very silly way to do that: unhide only one layer and select this layer to export one layer by one layer. Whether Corel draw has export image from different layer, or there is additional tool can do that?
Is there any way for CorelDraw X6 to export very large TIFF files? e.g. greater than 30,000 pixels in each dimension? I am currently running X5 on XP 32-bit and it cannot seem to handle it, even though Photo-Paint appears to have the ability.I finally manage to get our IT guys to give me a Win7 64-bit test machine for me to trial X6 64-bit, but seems to only do marginally better than my X5 installation. The test machine already has 7GB RAM installed plus a very, very large drive.I also had to run the same test on Adobe Illustrator and it was able to deal with this very quickly and smoothly, no troubles at all.You may find it hard to believe, but I actually like using CorelDraw :-), which is so far the standard package for our company, but if I cannot get X6 doing what we want, I'm afraid it's the end of the line.

My page is letter size.The image is a bitmap composed of numerous photographs and vector graphics.
I have saved them to a CMYK BITMAP 300DPI.In Corel the image reads as 11.125" x 8.625"
When I export to a pdf or jpg the image size changes to 11.293" x 8.796" which will not work for the printer. It sets the design elements outside the 'safe zone'.
I am wondering if there is a way to import e.g. a table from a website without loosing the styles (CSS stylesheets). I want the table to be printable - so the resolution of a screenshot is too low.

1) Importing 1920 x 1440 GoPro footage, .mp4, 29.97 fps : What sequence settings do I need for this media? I can't find any presets that match it. So I just pick a 1440 x 1080 sequence. What should I be doing?
2) Exporting Media quality is very poor and pixelated. I am just importing a video into a sequence and exporting about 10 seconds at a time with different export settings: H.264/Match Source, Quicktime, H.264-Blu ray with different presets. And I'm checking "USe max render quality". Every time it renders very pixelated.
When I select Export HTML., and click the Browser preview, Corel Draw X6 selects MS Internet Explore which is not my default Browser.
I've checked Tools | Options and Export HTML, and searched the forums, but can't find out how to default to either Firefox or Chrome.

View 6 Replies View RelatedListing on ebay some clocks i do, looking at the latest requirements. They want a jpg image 1600 pixels on the longest size, ok its big but fair enough.
They also want it to be 90 on the 0-99 JPEG quality scale. Someone has shown me that scale in Ifranview but where do i find it in Corel Draw X4 blowed if i can find it, I don't really want to add another program just to sort this out, i am confident Corel Draw X4 can do it.
I imported a digital picture into a CorelDraw document--it looks great in the document. When I converted it to a PDF, the picture quality looks terrible.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am using two different types of raster ECW and MrSid. ECW file resolution goes way down when plotting. They look like blocks. MrSid files look fuzzy but alot better than ECWs. I've tried RASTERTHRESHOLD, and RASTERPERCENT. Both are set to 90. Using HP6100ps.
Images are fine when using Imageinsert.
Is there a setting i'm missing somewhere for them?
exporting my CorelDrawX6 files as a high quality jpg for large scale printing purposes. In X4 it was very easy - just export as usual to the highest quality cmyk jpg and open in Photo Paint... now when I export this way it takes forever to bring up the preview page and most of the time it ends up being blank. Sometimes even crashes. I have played with all options in the filter dialog menu that I can find but nothing works. Thought it might be a file size problem but never had that problem in X4 and anything under 200dpi will not be high enough quality.
View 11 Replies View Relatedwhy (sometimes) when I export text or graphics as .eps files to my cutter it cuts the same outline up to four to five times and ends up cutting right through the backing paper. I have been using postcut with various corel editions since 1997 with no problems until recently. It also cuts random lines through lines of text which is such an expensive pain in the ass.
I started to use the production manager in flexi sign to cut my designs and same thing happens, except for the random lines but it will make up to five cuts on some objects. All text and graphics are exported the same. Has something in corel newer versions changed in relation to this?
i´m using CRD since X3 so I think i´m quite experienced with all the crashes and uncompatibilities but now I have a problem which I can´t solve.
I made a graphic project which is quite large (2,6m x 2,0m @ 300dpi) and including raster grahics. The CDR file itself has about 400MB. When I tried to export this graphic to the png or jpg at the current size Corel X5 always crashes. I tried almost everything on many computers but always the same problem.
It looks like the project is too large for export. At this moment I desperately need to export the file to jpg or png at full resolution. Maybe X6 is more stable when exports or I have to simplify the project somehow but...

Client supplies me with word document, I make a PDF from it and then from Acrobat create an ESP file, this is done as an eps file is much less likely to cause probs then importing a PDF, I then print from the Coreldraw file with the EPS pages no problem. The problem then arises when I have to then create a PDF file from COreldraw for the client - any EPS files in the document do not appear in the PDF - so there lies the problem.I cannot alway directly import a PDF file (often screws up) even if I save fonts as outlines. Saving as EPS overcomes most/all issues.
