I have prepared a calender where all the rectangles are rounded cornered and now client is asking acute angles without corners how to bring back them to without corners. Since selecting each objects and using shape tool and to unround them consuming.
View 6 RepliesWhat I do not like is that I draw a rectangle and then add the radius corners and it is fine.
If I then drag the box taller or wider the radius of the corner changes too. But also I have noticed that it does this even if you drag the box to size first then add the radius corners.
example: I make up a rectangle and add start adding text. Then I have to make the box bigger so I do that, finish adding my text. Now go to add in the radius corner and they are all skewed out of shape. This seems to be because I have dragged that rectangle bigger that what it was when I first dragged it into place.
Is there a way around this so that I can make my rectangle say 250 wide by 50 tall. Then later on change it's size and add radius corners and make it so the corners are all even and not all out of proportions?
When i tried to add an inside contour to a simple square with rounded corners......the inside contour is missing the rounded corners but when you add a contour to the outside of the square with rounded corners...the corners are round.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI click photos of books in my library. So when I import a page on a coreldraw [the jpg image that is ] the page has 2 or more photographs. I crop each photo by making a rectangle then croppping the photo using the intersect command. however if i make 3 rectangles on a page for each photo, select the jpg image and the rectangles, use the intersect command, it doesn't work. That is to say the photos don't get cropped. I have to do this rectangle thing for each photo one by one. Is there a quick way?
Like if there's a jpg image of a page having 4 photographs, i make 4 rectangles for each photo, use the intersect command and all the photographs get cropped ?

I put rounded corners [from the decor part] onto my image, and when i saved it, it came up with these extra bits at the corners; which make the image actually rectangle. How i can get rid of them? i just want the plain round corners. =x

I have a customer that send me his logo to cut some small stickers to give out at his shop. However, the logo design guy that designed the logo used shading to give the logo depth. So when i bring up the file in corel draw, there is several small lines and boxes in the logo where the different shades where located in the logo and my plotter cuts those line in the vinyl. Is there anyway to remove those lines with out having to recreate the logo?

I am desperately looking for the function in Coreldraw that allows me to cut one object based on the intersection of another object. Essentially I am looking for the "Trim" function that exists in Autocad.
Example... draw a circle...then draw a line that crosses the center of the circle. I want to be able to remove the bottom half of the circle below the intersection line.
draw and long narrow ellipse...then draw a circle on top of the ellipse I want to remove the ends of the ellipse outside circle..In autocad this takes exactly 3 keystrokes and less than 2 seconds...I have tried everything in Coreldraw and cannot find away to make this happen...
Google suggests that there is no option other than to delete it and then redraw..

Is it possible to modify a rounded rectangles radius in Photoshop but I find this a big time waster as I'll then have to redo all the colors and strokes and all other changes i've made such as perspective and so on.

am moving from Fireworks. In fireworks, you had a drag handle to quickly and easily adjust the radius for all or individual corners. I can't seem to find that funtionality in Photoshop.
I have found how to create the rectangles and adjust the radius before I place them in a layer, but not after.
When I drag out a circle, or use the node to curve the corners of a rectangle, the line isn't smooth. It looks like it's slightly jagged.
