I recently have been able to export jpgs into my pictures folder from Coreldraw but now can't. I don't know where they go? I can see my cdr file in the folder but it wont show my jpg file.
View 5 RepliesI have the Corel Draw X5 and I can not power clip a picture. I clicked on the bezier tool and traced the image. I went to power clip and when I clicked on the line I just made with the black arrow it says , the object I selected is invalid.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have used LR 4 in the past, and when I wanted to export my RAW files into JPEGS I would go to File>Export. I tried to do the same with LR CC, got the page, however, I couldn't figure out what the page should be set up for so that the jpegs went into the same folder as the RAW files. They went into another folder on my C drive. Or I get an error message:

How can I do what I want to do, which is to export RAW images to JPEGS?
Will Corel6 (or later) ever be able to export to a web page directly since the HTLM export doesn't work (drops links). The Corel Web program, or what ever its name is, was a joke. Its amazing that Corel work puts its name on a program that you could not open a CorelDraw file.
My current work around is to export to a JPG and then import that into dreamweaver and add the links there, then post. A pain but it works.
There is a little annoying folder automatically created by CorelX5 in my document folder, and I don't want it there. It destroys my file arrangement and I hate this.
Question: How can I change the destination of the folder ...Corel which is automatically created in my document folder?
why (sometimes) when I export text or graphics as .eps files to my cutter it cuts the same outline up to four to five times and ends up cutting right through the backing paper. I have been using postcut with various corel editions since 1997 with no problems until recently. It also cuts random lines through lines of text which is such an expensive pain in the ass.
I started to use the production manager in flexi sign to cut my designs and same thing happens, except for the random lines but it will make up to five cuts on some objects. All text and graphics are exported the same. Has something in corel newer versions changed in relation to this?
i´m using CRD since X3 so I think i´m quite experienced with all the crashes and uncompatibilities but now I have a problem which I can´t solve.
I made a graphic project which is quite large (2,6m x 2,0m @ 300dpi) and including raster grahics. The CDR file itself has about 400MB. When I tried to export this graphic to the png or jpg at the current size Corel X5 always crashes. I tried almost everything on many computers but always the same problem.
It looks like the project is too large for export. At this moment I desperately need to export the file to jpg or png at full resolution. Maybe X6 is more stable when exports or I have to simplify the project somehow but...

I just create a few objects in the symbol manager, now I want to send those contents I createt to a friend. But I cannot find my library/symbols folder in the Corel Draw folders.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I checked my computer for any any unused programs I got see this coreldraw (r) graphics suite x5 installed. When I got to uninstall it showed and error message that some sort of setup.xml is missing. When I checked this programs folder I got to see that there are two corel folders [Corel and Corel (2) ] in my C: drive. After checking all the file locations of different corel applications I deleted the Corel (2) foder. After that also corel was not being uninstalled. I don't want to re-format my computer only for this
View 1 Replies View RelatedClient supplies me with word document, I make a PDF from it and then from Acrobat create an ESP file, this is done as an eps file is much less likely to cause probs then importing a PDF, I then print from the Coreldraw file with the EPS pages no problem. The problem then arises when I have to then create a PDF file from COreldraw for the client - any EPS files in the document do not appear in the PDF - so there lies the problem.I cannot alway directly import a PDF file (often screws up) even if I save fonts as outlines. Saving as EPS overcomes most/all issues.

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I want to search in connect, I select the folders I want to include in my search, that is fine.But when I close the progarm and restart it the selection is reset so nothing is selected except the X6 content on disc.
In X5, X6 it would keep the selected folders and they would remain selected and ready to go each time I started connect or CorelDraw.But in X6.1, it seems that each time I close the program it resets everything.
I select the folders I want to use in my search, favorites are locations I want to use in every search.But when I close down for the day and restart CorelDraw the next day and go to connect, this is what I get, all check boxes cleared.
is there a way to get it to keep my selections when I close the program?To me, at least, this is annoying to have to select the folders every time I start the program.

I cannot find the default Placeholder Text Folder.In 'My Documents, I have 2 Corel folders:In the first one, it contains: Content X6.Inside of it, it contains 5 folders:1- Bitmap Patterns, 2- Image Lists, 3- Photo Frames, 4- Templates and 5- Vector Patterns.and there's no RTF Placeholder file.In the Second Corel folder, it contains: Corel Content.Inside of it, it contains 3 folders: 1- Bitmap Pattern, 2- Trays and 3- Vector Patterns. and there's no RTF Placeholder file.

1) You can't import more than one picture at a time, externally connected simultaneously in the document.
2) If you move the picture within it, in a new folder, there is the possibility of assigning the new path to more 'photos at the same time but only one at a time.
So if I have 100 photos to be updated with the new path I have to do with each photo. While it would be much more logical to assign the same path to more 'selected photos.
I don't see thumbnails, only icons of JPG photos.

I'm not that good working with images i'm more of a vector man but I have been playing around with it but the results are not great.
The image itself is a typical grayscale newspaper image with halftoning and its gone a bit yellow over the years, all I want to do is get rid of the yellow and brighten it up a bit.
I set up for a client of mine a new file server using samba.
Everything is working OK except the browsing/opening of files directly from the network drive, using both X4 amd X5 versions on windows XP and 7.
Can the items in the Contents Folder (e.g. Frames, pictures, etc.) be opened directly into Photoshop CS6 without first being opened in CorelDRAW X6. I have both programs, and it would be great if I had access to those objects whenever I'm using Photoshop.

After upgrade from X4 to X6.4 noticed that AI export filter in version 7 is not present. It is very important - only ver 7 is readable for my software for laser machine and I really need this funkction. Maybe detail, but without this small point big X6.4 is like garbage

I want to take a picture and make it gradually go transparent from the middle of the picture to the top (using Photo Paint I guess), you know the thing with the checkerboard squares. Then I will put it in Draw and overlay some text across the top area where it has gradually gone transparent.
I do not want a sharp line between regular and transparent as if I cut a hole in the background and deleted the hole part. I want a gradual fade sort of transparency for the entire image. I have searched the internet for how to do this even using using Photoshop and there are not instructions available.
When I export my work to .jpg format all is OK. All looks fine on desktop. But when I try to print it there are several dark pixels allover the picture. It looks like snow or TV noise. I tried different picture fixing programs, but nothing... How can I remove that noise?

I make a rectangle. Choose the colour from the palette, drag the little coloured box over to the rectangle and release. Nothing. Many years ago I used my brothers Corel draw, so I know ( or knew then ) how to colour a rectangle.
I'm not able to assign a Hotkey to enable me to use Corel Capture. No matter what I use, it tells me that the Hotkey is already being used by this system. I have deleted Hotkeys and then then tried to reassign them to no avail.
View 14 Replies View RelatedI would like to export a page I am creating as a jpg. Right now, I have one object on the page, and its a .jpg object. When I export from the File menu, only the jpg is exported. How can I export the entire page? If I add text to the object (which will be a banner). it only exports the jpg, and and the exact space required by the text, not the entire page. I have been unable to find setting for exporting selected objects or entire page. I have another less powerful drawing program that gives options to export object, selection, or page.
If I create a box, and place it on the document, the whole thing will export, but if the pox is larger than the page, then entire box is still exported, where I only want the page dimensions exported so I can eventually arrange objects ont he box that will overlap the page dimesnsions, but only the page area should be exported as a jpg.
Should I be doing this as a powerclip? I haven't used that feature yet in CD. Then export the powerclip object?
