Using AutoCad 2009LT and when I create a PDF in CutePDF Writer, I set everything for the size (arch D) or 22" x 36", extents or window, fit to paper, landscape, black and white, monochrome, etc and the preview cuts the thing in half.
The only way I can get the full drawing in the preview and when I open the PDF in Adobe Reader is to set the "Plot Upside-down" to "ON" in the drawing orientation.
This also turns the image so it doesn't open as landscsape, when you open in Adobe Reader, then have to rotate it.
How to get a tangent bearing or radial bearing to show up in the legal description writer? All I can get are their opposites. Is there some code that I can add that will swap their direction (say NE for a SW)?
The convention out here (OR/WA) is to show a radial bearing (from the PC to the radius point) or a tangent bearing (into the beginning of a curve) for any non-tangent curves. So far, I haven't been able to figure out how to do this automatically.
Also, any good guide or list of variables for using the Parcel Reporting for legal descriptions in c3d? I really want to know what ALL the different pieces of data are that I can use in the legal writer, and how to manipulate them.
I'm trying to figure out how to create an iLogic rule that would create a Custom iProperties and put in what version of Inventor the file was last updated with.
When I "move a dimension with Leader" is there a way to create an arrowhead on the create3d leader. After I create a Linear Dimension I select it and hover over the blue box in the dimension text and select 'Move with Leader" and the leader does not have an arrowhead. Is there an easy way to do this? Autocad 2012.
Let's say, for example, that i create an object with a size, then i create other objects with other sizes.
When I try to see the size of the first object created it says that has the same size like the other objects which have other sizes (it's even obvius cause they r bigger on my screen:D).With all the other versions of Corel i didn't had those problems, but X5 does that.
I am using Xara pgdMX to create a pdf from which I use another program to create a flip-book.All the links have a blue rectangle around them when they appear in the flip-book.I am told by the flip-book team that I should make them transparent in Acrobat... which I don't have. URL...
I'm looking for the easiest and quickest way to create jpgs from my layout tabs in my dwg files. When I print to jpg, the quality is horrible, and how to make it better.
The best way I can find is to first make an eps file, and then convert this to a jpg, however this is pretty cumbersome. Any way to improve the quality of the print to jpg function?
I need to create a BoM . I have a few component Blocks create and when I select these in the drawing I get the Enhanced Attribute Editor and I can view/modify a components attributes. But now, how do I get to create/generating a BoM.
Is there a way to create a 3D DWF from a drawing using VB.Net? I have a program that processes hundreds of drawings and creates a PDF and DWF of each drawing. I'd like to also create a 3D DWF file, but haven't find anything on it anywhere. I'm not sure if this would be a Save As, Export or something else.
I have created quite a few AutoCAD commands, but I think it’s a troublesome thing let users remember the shortcuts, I want to create a toolbar for these commands through C# code.
I need to create one Plugin for AutoCAD 2012. I created one plugin for AutoCAD 2007 using .NET 2.0 . I would like to know which is the correct .NET framework I should use for creating a plugin for AutoCAD 2012. For Ex. [.NET 2.0, .NET 3.5, .NET 4.0, .NET 4.5 etc] ?
If possible can I get a link to any autodesk official page detailing about the .NET frameworks ?
Just wanted to run this by everyone. I'm using Autocad 2012 and having problems with text dropping out when i create a PDF file from my DWG.
It just happens randomly. Most times we just re-PDF the dwg and it's fine. I'm wondering if the way I go about it, /plot, and using "Adobe PDF" to print my PDF is what everyone is using.
How i would create a new linetype in AutoCAD LT 2004. For example creating an electrically traced line that is a dashed line with the letter E in the line.
I have a question about creating title blocks with attributes. I know how to create attributes and I know how to draw title blocks but when you create a title block with attributes does it have to be saved as a dwg when you do the wblock command? And what about the viewport? Do I have to create the viewport every time I insert the title block? Normally I just use the template I created and fill in the date, page number so on. I would like to automate this with attributes to reduce chances of mistakes.
I am working on a drawing (not originally created by me) and cannot create any hatches at all. If I make a closed shape, select Hatch, and select an interior point, nothing at all happens. No hatch is created, no error messages are generated. The command simply appears to finish as normal but doesn't actually create anything.
I'm trying to create a pdf from an idw that is referencing a very large assembly on multiple pages of the idw.
With the multiple views when I go to create a pdf it says it needs to update the views and proceeds in excess of 4hrs to do 1/6 views.
Is there anyway to speed up this process? possibly use other computers that aren't being used on the network to share their resources? (Is this a possibility like in 3ds Max?)
(Computer has 32 GB memory, Intel Xeon CPU L5520, 64-bit windows.)
