i have about 38 pages in my current package and frankly the bottom scroll-er sucks for getting from page to page. Is there a way to view it as like an explorer menu page by page something that would manage the sheets or something where it will manage all the files if i was to break up the pages into separate files.
Batch plotting is not an issue i know how to do that amongst separate files.
I would like to edit the dwt file extension in explorer to add an option in the contextual menu' to open it in acad for editing it. At the moment I can only open it, but it actually opens a copy.So I would like two options:
OPEN a copy (default behaviour)
EDIT the template (optional)
I hate the need to open a copy and then go through all the process of "save a copy as dwt".I have win7 - LibreOffice has similar options for their templates (new/open).
I installed X6 tonight and I'm now having trouble with my Extra Large Icons in Windows Explorer. When I switch to extra large icons the first few show up correctly (CDR, JPG, GIF, etc.) but most of the rest of the GIFs and JPGs show as Corel icons. I can refresh, reload, and they still stay Corel icons. The only way to get the preview thumbnails again is to switch back to large or medium icons and then refresh. But if I switch back to extra large icons I get the same thing again. What's particularly odd is that all the Corel file formats preview correctly as extra large icons, but only a few of the GIFs and JPGs do. I have already removed and reinstalled X6 and the Corel Windows Shell Extension.
If you run the Icon size slider up, the preview thumbnails for the GIFs and JPGs change to Corel Photopaint icons as soon as you go above large icon size.
I have Win7 Pro running on an Intel i7-3820 and have updated Corel to the X6.2.
Also, I do not have any icon viewer applications installed.
I browsed around a bit and didn't see this particular problem listed.
I need my colleagues and customers to view some of the models I create, and be able to manipulate them.
No matter how much I ask, they ar not going to download a viewer - they just throw up their hands and say "can't, shan't won't". So I end up having to take numerous screen dumps and print, which in reality are much less useful.
I have seen components by some of our suppliers (though I cannot find an example now) online and viewed in Internet Explorer where I can view, manipulate, and even section their 3d models without needing to worry about viewers.
How this can be achieved with Inventor Assemblies?
sometimes I need to do simple thing like crop or resize group of images. I use XnView mostly. But it is possible to somehow run without run PXP x2/x5 my scripts from shell for example? If possible from explorer context menu will be perfect.
Are recorded scripts executed through Python or some DLL?
I used to be able to view my psd files in windows xp explorer. I still can in Breezebrowser but I'm not always in that program.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm using Photoshop CS4 on Windows XP. I've been editing the Title and Description fields in Photoshop (and yes, I've been saving things). When I try to view the metadata in Photoshop at a later point I can see everything just fine. When I try to view the metadata by going in to windows explorer and looking at the properties, those fields just show up as blank.
View 3 Replies View RelatedUsing Vista 64 Viewing PSP files with explorer has proven to be a pain. I have installed Fast Picture Viewer and the PSP file handler and none do anything. I have folder options setup correctly. With X2 I had no problems but starting with X4 and now X5 I have to guess what the file is by the name. I only save PSP files when in layers. PSD don't show either when in layers but do show as a single file (not PSP though). There must be some way to see a thumbnail. I can't even see them from within PSPX5 itself while in Edit mode until I open it up. Why does Corel not make at Codex so we can view their own product properly. Also I know I can browse using the Manage section of PSP but prefer not too as it has alway been too buggy, I only use the edit section.
View 7 Replies View RelatedHow to view psp images in Windows Explorer (I have Windows 7 - 64 bit)? When I am in PSP X3 I open my files by going to "file" then "open". I get the standard psp icon instead of the actual pic view. PSD and PNG files show up, PSP images do not.
I do not like using the pic display at the bottom of my screen. I want the largest workspace possible.
I tried to create some keywords for photos, and save them into oringinal photo files by selecting photos in library then choose "Metadata>Save metadata to file" from right-click menu.
But, when I right-click original photo files in windows explorer and choose "Content>Details", these metadata set in lightroom doesn't appear.
is there any way to view it without any 3rd software but windows explorer?
I have autocad civil 3d 2008 in my pc. From last 2 days I got a different problem i.e. when I am selecting open / save command from File menu graphical file select explorer is not opening just message in the command window . Previously I used to select files using graphical file explorer.

View 20 Replies View RelatedI'm new to AutoCAD 2013 and I am unable to create new viewports from the "layout" or "paperspace" tabs. The "Model Viewports" are on the navigation bar (the one at the top) but are grayed out and thus unusable and the typical "Viewports" menu from my AutoCAD 2011 (last version I had/used) is not there. I can open the viewports menu from toolbars but am unable to dock it into the navigation bar.

Just switforeveched to AutoCAD 2013 from 2011. I kept the classic interface as I did since forever. This is the problem I am having now. After I created a viewport in a layout, I right click on the viewport border fully expecting a menu to come up so I can set the type to be 2d hidden. But nothing like that occurs. The help menu came up. How do I get the viewport menu to set the view type?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have all my symbols named and catagorized in alphabetical listing. Whenever I open a new symbol library it alwasy reverts to large thumbnails. These thumbnails are usually too small to see the small differences between different shirt types. Also I have trouble with white symbols being hard to see.
Anywho obviously I can just switch it to large list view and then its fine. But I'm getting annoyed that I have to do it every time I open a new symbol pallet. Its like 1 more task that I feel like this several hundred dollar software should be smart enough to do for me.
I've looked in preferences to no avail. How or if you can set the large list view as a default for opening libraries. Brush, symbol or otherwise?

When I use File > Open or Place Component the Windows file browser opens in List mode which means that I have to use the horizontal scroll bar to browse the directory. I would like it to open in Detail mode [List and Detail are some of the view choices under the View Menu of the Windows file browser window] allowing me to browse with the vertical scroll bar. -- I think it's ergonomically eaisier.
I can make the change from the View Menu but it doesn't hold. I have checked to see that Windows 2000 is set for Details when using Windows Explorer.
Are there any settings in Inventor to force Detail mode?
I have just installed C3D 2012 and when I show the menu bar, the only choice is Express which used to be the last tool in previous versions. What happened to File - Edit - View - Insert - Format, etc in the menu bar? I need to access them.

When I try to open ANY inventor file from Windows Explorer I get this error
I don't know why, the initial inventor splash/opening screen come up as normal, Inventor 2013 is the associated program by default, so I stuck as to why this is happening now when it never used to. I've not made any changes to my system, not installed any new software etc.

Where do I find Content Explorer? Is it the same as Content Browser?
