My Autocad 2011 gets stuck trying to open Options in whatever way I try to access them. I end up having to close it down. Never had the problem before today so not sure what has changed..
i just got photoshop CS and at the beggining all the filter options workedbut now they dont anymore when i want to make some wind i cant because the button is like gray(cant press it)......
I am new to iLogic and trying to access the "Application Options" under the "Tools" tab. I am trying to grab some information from a couple of fields but it seems that I don't have the right coding or Snippets that indicate how I would do so.
My menu bar has almost vanished. All I can see is "File, Window and Help" all the others have disappeared. I looked up what to do and CAD help told me to go to Window and then click on Pulldowns but this isn't an option that I can see when I click on Window.
I already add in the Quick Access Toolbar the "Layer Combo Control" and the "Ribbon Combo Box - Linetypes"
I would like to add also "Ribbon Combo Box - Object Color" BUT it seems impossible...
I copy it from Panels - Home - Properties and put it into Quick access Toolbar, but it never shows up and worse when I go back to CUI it has dissappeared...
The only things that works is the "color" function.
I was wondering if there is any way to change options in the plot menu. For example I have a long list of printer's and many duplicates, when I only use 2 of the 25 printers on the list. I would like to just have the 2 printers i use displayed, rather then having to search through all the names every time. There is other options I wish to customize in the plot-model tab as well.
I want to align various layers to different parts of my document. I have noticed in the past that alignment options sometimes display at the top of the screen, though they are not doing it for me now and I can not find an alignment panel. Â 1. How can I access the alignment options? 2. From a graphic designer's perspective, should text centered on a document generally only be used for formal style invites?
I want to create a menu for pulldowns to access often used blocks. Ive looked at the pallatte ooption but it seems its only for commands ?? Iam correct.
I'm using PSP X4, have an image open in edit but I'm not able to add any layer(s). None of the layer type options will remain highlighted for me to choose when I go to new mask layer or new adjustment layer.
I have just installed C3D 2012 and when I show the menu bar, the only choice is Express which used to be the last tool in previous versions. What happened to File - Edit - View - Insert - Format, etc in the menu bar? I need to access them.
I just installed CS4 a week or two ago. I've used other versions in the past -- mostly for processing digital images -- and am now trying learn some graphic design techniques,
I created a path using the pen tool, changed it to a selection, right-clicked inside the selection area and wanted to Fill the selection, but the menu option is disabled. Does anyone know why? or what I need to do to enable it? Those menu options never seem to enable in the main Edit menu either.
I am running on Windows Vista, Dell Quad-Core system.
Just installed Photoshop CS4. Few problems I'm noticing: - On startup, most menu items under all the top menu are greyed out. It starts with the marquee tool selected, and if I select another tool (like the selection tool),the greyed out items (like File->Open) work and stay working. - I can't close PS CS4 after startup if I don't first select a different tool other then the default (marquee) - I installed a couple extensions via the Extention Manger and they do not show up under Window->Extensions (it's greyed out always). I've uninstalled and reinstalled, did all my Vista Ultimate updates (including SP1). Any thoughts would be appreciated. I've got a top end (well was last year) video card, lots of ram and disk, etc..Dell XPS410 system loaded. Â
I cannot access my fonts menu. The drop down menu is blank box and snaps shut. I also have trouble with "save as" and file format...ie save as jpg...the drop down quickly snaps shut, I can often catch it after several tries but seriously lol.
These issues have something to do with user settings...I made a secondary account and the program works fine but changing between accounts is not the best solution. Where/what I need to look at in user settings ?
When writting scripts to Photoshop I can use the app.runMenuItem() method to acess commands in the menus. For example: app.runMenuItem (charIDToTypeID("ZoomIn")) will run the Zoom In command.  Does Illustrator have any such method (or accepts anything like action description) to enable us to acess it´s menu items? For example acess Expand comnand, or Object > Live Paint > Make..
Photoshop CC The 3D Menu is greyed out so no options are able to be selected. If I try to use the 3D Window (Window>3D) then I get a message about enabling "Use Graphic Processor" even though its already enabled. I wanted to try out CC before upgrading for CS6 - And certainly will not be buying a new system just for 3D Option in CC (will stick with CS6) Â System InfoAdobe Photoshop Version: 14.0 (14.0 20130423.r.221 2013/04/23:23:00:00) x64 Operating System: Windows 7 64-bit Version: 6.1 Service Pack 1 System architecture: AMD CPU Family:15, Model:1, Stepping:0 with MMX, SSE Integer, SSE FP, SSE2, SSE3
Adjustment Panel Fly-out menu options. The Adjustment Panel was added to Photoshop in CS4 and two of its Fly-out Menu options seem to be more a problem then useful.
In PSP X2, the menu options went suddenly missing.
I can see the Menu Bar (File, View, Effects, etc.). However, when I click on, say, File, I can see the drop-down options, but none of the options expand into their sub-menus. All I see is a grey box where the options should be.
I just now was able to reinstall PSP X2 after many months of problems due to the usual "illegally modified" message. It's very frustrating to say the least.
When I open an image in PS CS6 all is well. Once I move the document, it snaps itself to the top left. If I move it and try to place it somewhere else, it moves itself a little higher to the top left. The more I move it the more it snaps higher. If I move it over 5 times it covers the main menu bar (File  Edit  Layer  View  Filter) and so on. This renders the app useless as you can no no longer access the native menu to do anything to the image.  I am on Windows 7x64 (SP1) with a Wacom Tablet. Within PS I've disabled, Tabs for windows (Both check marks) as well as Flick Panning, and animated zoom.
I recently signed up for/installed the CC Suite and have been using it for a few days on my Windows 7 box. I had a bad PS crash this evening, and when I tried to open PS back up it seemed to think I was a new user and wanted me to sign in/reauthorize my machine. (I also had to use the cleaner/reinstall the incredibly glitchy CC Desktop client.) On top of that, I can no longer access the extensions menu in Photoshop, (It's greyed out.)?
I think there should be a 'edit cfx' menu when we right -click the clip in timeline. This is very handy to get fast access to the cfx. Yes i can click the small cfx icon/button and RMB - edit cfx , or i can double click the cfx button itself, but this only work when the cfx button is visible. Also there should be a hotkey for this.
Have just got new PC with Windows 7 OS. LR 4.1 64bit is installing insofar as I can see (from purchased disc/DVD) but not responding when I try to open it. When I click on desktop shortcut or try to access from Start Menu it defaults to Task-bar. I have not been asked for serial numbers etc. either.
When I use File/Open everything is greyed out because the Enable field is blank. I can't find any place to set this field permanently to All Readable Documents. Â Secondly, when I use Save As, Photoshop wants to save my image in a .eps format unless I save it as JPEG Stereo.
I am on a MAC OS X 10.8.5. I am running Illustrator CC 17.0.0 I started a new document and created my work. I could not save as or export. There are times when the SAVE button is also greyed out. (see screenshot). I was fortunate there was a script that saves the files as a PDF under SCRIPTS. It does not matter if I start a new file or open an old one. I do not have file menu choices. I checked for updates and it states I am current.Â
I cannot access the options button on the tools menu. It pops up error message that says Required resource unavailable. Then the program locks up and I have to restart the computer.Â
