I have encountered a strange symbol that affects lines:
2 little blue boxes. What happens when i see these symbols, If I move a line and it's connected to other lines it will latch onto them and effectively drag them. I don't want it to do this, I don't know what to search for, spent a few days trying to find what it is because it nearly ruined a whole development!
What are they for and how do i get rid of them? Whenever I use the rectangle tool and place the rectangle I immediately get like 5 or so of these little gray boxes popping up. Within the boxes are two lines, one blue and one red. The lines are either parallel or perpendicular to eachother. I have to click an 'x' to remove them. This adds a lot of extra time and hassle to the process of making simple designs.how to disable them.
I must have done something to cause two blue boxes to appear to the right of my crosshair whenever I hover over a line. Also, the lines double up when I do this! What's causing it and how do I get rid of it?
I've got two polyline rectangles next to another. When I move the other one, the next one stretches with the one that is moved and that is not what I want.
I've taken several shots of buildings with a Canon EOS (each photo 4mg / JPG) with very dark blue sky backgrounds. There are no clouds in the sky. I need to resize each photo down to approx 350kb for the Internet. I'm using Corel Paint Shop Pro X2. I've run various process's like smart photo fix, sharpen, then improved the saturation and then re sized at 75% "weighted average". When I view the photo on the Internet the blue sky seems to be in lines. How I can stop this and get an even blue colour.
I am having a problem with dimension lines defaulting with blue text. I have set my defaults to black but it does not change. Other designers in my company are having the same problem.
After making a cutout in the cutout-lab/preview/ok, returning to the main workspace area, there remain, unlike in the instruction DVD, 2 blue dotted lines around the object: one from the rectangular box and one showing the cutout outline. As a result I can't make a clip mask from the object transparency box.
Has it to do with settings not mentioned in the dvd? The 'remove mask button' is inactive. I just picked some bitmaps from the internet and tried to make them into one.
I am trying to create a window block that stretches both mullions horizontally and vertically. I figured out how to get both to stretch horizontally but when I try to stretch vertically I get a really funky skew thing happening.
I'm trying to create a dynamic block that stretches between a minimum and maximum height. The block I'm trying to create is an "Acrow Prop" which has a height that ranges between 1050-1830mm. Is there any way to set a function that will stop stretching out side of these figures?
I have a drawing where some lines have a 60% screening in there Plot Style. The print great from AutoCAD. But when I create a PDF and then print the PDF the Screened lines show up kind of blue / purple.
I am plotting to a Cannon iPF720 on 22x34 paper from Acrobat Reader X. I'm creating the PDF from AutoCAD 2012.
I clicked something by accident in CS4 and now the canvas stretches all the way to the right, with a couple of panels floating over the upper right part of the expanded canvas, with right scroll bar obscured by those floating panels. I want it back to what I believe is default, with the panels in their own static section on the right, separate from the canvas.Where is "reset" or something else to restore?
I recently placed text on an arc in Photoshop and found that it appears to stretch the text as well. I placed the same text on a circle in Illustrator and then placed it on top of the text in Photoshop. When the two lines of text were then made to have letters of the same height, the letters were not the same width (Photoshop letters were wider). Illustrator appears to maintain the aspect ratio of each letter when placing text on a curve while Photoshop does not.
Is this known to happen? Is there a way to place text on an arc in Photoshop that does not distort/deform the letters of the text in any way other than to place them on an arc?
The attached picture is me trying to balloon a part. I would like to just add some notes to the balloon so that I can update them manually but all I can find is to have a symbol. So I created a symbol, the insertion point for the symbol is shown. For some reason I get an extra number and the symbol offcenter. Why is this happening? What I'm really looking for is a balloon that is fully customizable so that I can just add text to the top and bottom and fill out the details.
i have 1000 eps files to work with and i dont have the time to go to each one and change the color from blue to black! all are different shapes so i need a batch command that will keep the white, white and change any other color to black!
I'm using PSE 11 on a MacBook Pro. My Blue Skies have too much green in them for my preference. I'm sure there is a way to change this, but how? Also, can I change the default 'blue skies' to something more to my liking for a long-lasting remedy?
Is there a way to "eval" or dynamically set a symbol name that has been parsed from XML to build a symbol path? For example, I'm trying to dynamically set a variable to the path of a sysmbol already on the stage, but it's not working correctly:
var xmlSymName = $('symName', this).text(); // where symName = "sym4" from a parsed XML node var whatPOI = sym.getComposition().getStage().getSymbol("sym1").getSymbol("sym2").getSymbol("sym3").getSymbol(xmlSymName).getSymbolElement();
Basically I have a lot of points on a map and I'd like to be able to name the points along with other data like tooltip callouts, etc populated via XML then loop through the XML to build the points of interest on the map. If I can get the above working I can place that variable path reference into an array and grab the data from it later. But the path is not working the way I have it.
The scenario is this, I have a symbol(TitlePage) on my main timeline. Inside the symbol(TitlePage) there is a play button. How can i set a click event on this symbol that access the main timeline(stage) labels?
play "SYMBOL_2" - "DIV_ANIMATION_1" - "ANIMATION_1_START" from within "SYMBOL1" - "DIV_PLAY" with the mouseup command
URL....I know that i can sym.getComposition().getStage().getSymbol("div_animation_1").play(); from within "div_play" but how do i access a point on the timeline and play from there...
Ok so i have this image (Attached) im trying to remove the blue rectangle and the white rectangle leaving the blue swirl on the white back ground, iv tried using content aware but it comes out really bad, maybe im doing it wrong will some one be able to look at this for me, maybe it came out wrong because i have the blue swirl and content aware doesn't work correctly with it .
I'm running Windows 7 64Bit running Adobe CS5 Master Collection. But ever since I allowed CS5 Photoshop to control my printer (HP Photosmart Prem 310-C) to do a test print of a graphic that I created all of my Blues print a violet/blue color, no matter what color blue. It has even affected MS Word & MS Project when I try to print blue colored font or Gantt Chart blues will no longer print blue, but will print the same blue/violet color. I've even tried a brilliant blue which will all view great, but prints the same shade of violet blue! All my colors and Blues will view great! I've calibrated my monitor and I've reset my printer several times and still the same thing! I never had this problem before I downloaded Adobe CS5! A strange thing is that I can run check printer test and the data & image that is stored in the printer will print blues perfect, including running a copy direct from the scanner bed and it will produce perfect blues. I almost feel as though Adobe CS5 has possessed my PC and printer, how do I get it back to printing like it did before installing CS5 Master Suite?
how do I make straight lines? Horizontal Lines? Vertical Lines? Curvs? I read many tutorials and i am afraid that I am doing it the wrong way, my way is to drag a guide to where i want the line to be at and trace the guide with the brush tool...
