AutoCad 3D :: Setup Render Scene With White Background
May 29, 2012
How would I setup a render scene with a white background? Kind of like a photo studio? I am working on a project for a prototype vehicle that I need to do a presentation for. I want the vehicle to be the main focus.
I am trying to render a scene, but without having a grey background. I have tried the following techniques
1. Tried adding a sun and sky illumination, its renders the image perfectly but this sadly brings in a greyish background. 2. Tried creating a view in model space and then I added a white background image, but it seems to darken the render, although it does sort the white background problem 3. Finally I tried creating a viewport in paperspace, this sorts the white background problem, but I then lose all of my shadows.
All of the above are based on a perspective view/angle
In MR, you can apply the camera shader to the lens slot in the render tab in render setup. I need to perform the same task in Scanline, but the dialog is different. (I am trying to render grass but occlude my building from the grass)
I rendered an interior scene. It took 17 hours 17 minutes and 35 seconds !!!
I used all arch and design materials. Some are used from material library. I am not really convinced with the output i made. I think there in nothing in the scene that making the render too high.
I m using
Core i7 2600 3.4 GHz 4 cores 8 threads 8 GB ram 1 GB geforce GTS 450 DDR3 win 7 64 bit 3ds max 2011 64 bit
I have a problem with the lighting in my scene. My interior is really and I don't know why.I want a smooth clay render but nothing's happened. Is there any way to upload my file?
In my project I use an off-screen device to render the scene; I need to tweak some render settings (just load a default preset could be a good starting point), but I can't figure out how to do this with an off-screen device!
1) Office Desktop Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 870 @ 2.93GHz 2.93GHz 8GB of RAM ATI Vga 1GB (Updated Driver) 64 bit Operating System (Windows 7 Ultimate) "3ds max 2009 64bit" + "Vray 1.50 RC3"
2) Laptop Intel(R) Core Duo(TM) CPU 2.53GHz 2.53GHz 4GB of RAM 32 bit Operating System (Windows 7 Professional) Nvidia Vga 512 MB (Updated Driver) "3ds max 2009 32bit" + "Vray 1.50 RC3"
I've one scene having 3 sofas, one table, and one chandelier, with 2 windows.with "average quality of the render setup in Vray 800x600" my desktop is taking more than 5 hours to render. with same configuration of vray settings or higher like "1200x800" my Laptop is taking 30 to 40 minutes to render. I checked everything, everything is fine. why its taking too much time to render this small scene, i check another files its same,
I'm using PSE8. I was using Filter>Render>Clouds and it was working for me. I must have done something because the clouds that are rendered are black & white not Blue and white. My photo is of course a color image. How I can correct this or what I need to do to get back to the default setting that will render blue & white instead of black and white?
I'm doing a few web mockups for a client and have set up a basic style of 'Georgia text 12/18px #333 colour'. I would love Photoshop and Indesign to render the type as dreamweaver. Is there anyway to setup the text to render the same as DW. I have attached a file as reference.
I am using a pdf underlay to trace over and whenever the crosshair or pickbox enters a white area it does not shift color to black to remain visible. This leaves me picking randomly trying to guess where the crosshair or pickbox is. If I change the 3dconfig to disable hardware acceleration, the color shifts, but the pdf is whited out. Not to mention the fact that by disabling hardware acceleration, I'm wasting the expensive video card on the machine. Is there a workaround? updated driver? service pack?
I was doing a machina at autocad 12 and when i was in rendering options I must have do something wrong, and now, when I try to render anything, the render goes on black and white. This machine is black, silver and transparent (plastic, metal and glass) and the metal goes on grey, the plastic (wich is black) goes on white and the glass disappears.
I tried to open another windows, make boxes with black plastic and another with glass, and the black turns on grey or white..
Im trying to render a model without the background . I've changed the resolution to 1920x1080 and it seems like autocad rendering all the background+the model to this resolution, so the final result is a lot of background and a model that you cant see the details. the file should be a jpeg or other common picture format but in high resolution.the picture attached is what i got
Is it the case that background image will be forced off when Sky Background and Illumination is turn on? I remember it should be possible as I did it before, but I am having this problem now.
Okay so I'm trying to take the white background off of a picture using the select a color on white, but it takes out a lot or the fur and eyes(it's a picture of a cartoon cat) How can I remove the areas of can from the selection without removing the pieces of cat too.
It's creative commons, so I guess I can post screen shots...
The cat is from [URL]...
A general idea of the selected area
What happens when I take out the selected area
So how can I take the pieces of the cat out of the selected area so when I try to delete the background I don't get an invisible cat?
I created a logo and then opened it as a layer so that I can make a website header image. It is shown here [URL] and as you can see the background is an off-white colour. It is probably unnoticeable to many, but I would prefer to get it right. How can I make the background a pure white so that it blends in with the white of the wordpress theme?
I have a mac with Adobe Illustrator and I am just learning how to use this stuff. How to accomplish what you see below - white text that has shading/shadow and is on a white background?
I´ve a problem with rendering. The background-color gets mixed with the object. I´ve already reinstalled Autocad but it does n´t fixes my problem. What could be the problem?
I seem to be having problems when I lasso round a specific part of a photo taken with a white background and then try to add that part of the image to a plain #000000 black background.
I always seem to get a white outline around the image when I place it on the black background, even when its on ZERO feathered. I don't like using feathered as it adds a smudge round the outside of the image.
For some reason when I render any of my items that have white materials, they will not be white. They appear grey. In the shaded view they are white, but even the realistic view is grey.
Actually, we are working in this project: URL....and we have a big problem, cause our problem is the same like this: URL....
but absolutely out of control. We are desperated, because deadline project is coming to the end..We work in Smoke around 85% and is a 90 minutes film. Is a huge project..We use pre rendered CFX.
I have some text documents in PDF format and would like to edit it in photoshop CS5, but each time I open them up in photoshop, the background seems to be transparent (tiny grey and white tiles), which is very eye tiring when editing/annotating with a wacom pen, how to fill the background total white?
In our drawing office we use Inventor in a mining materials handling environment. Our output is mainly structural drawings where we require a bill of materials as part of creating a drawing. Whenever I insert a BOM in the drawing environment I get this table which is labeled in a foreign language (it looks like an Eastern European language) and the format is not as per the standard Autodesk installation setup.
How do I either revert back to the standard setup or do a BOM setup from scratch?
I have created a moving background and I am rendering it in PHOTO JPEG format but when I convert it to .GIF to post it on my website, it takes away all the high quality. It is a moving background, what is the best format to render it in to post it as the website's background?
Ok so i have this image (Attached) im trying to remove the blue rectangle and the white rectangle leaving the blue swirl on the white back ground, iv tried using content aware but it comes out really bad, maybe im doing it wrong will some one be able to look at this for me, maybe it came out wrong because i have the blue swirl and content aware doesn't work correctly with it .
