So, I recently turned on the quick properties menu so that I would not have the delay of the properties menu updating in large drawings. The problem that I am having now is that some items do not show up in the regular properties menu. For example, mText will show up in the properties menu as well as the quick select menu, but multileaders do not show up in the properties menu any more.

Whether I used the flyout on the ribbon, the CTRL+1 command, or right click on properties in the menu of a selected item, the properties window does not appear. I tried both repairing and reinstalling AutoCAD and neither worked for me.

See attached file, when opening the dropdown menu, the centre-to-centre widths of the chair are displayed in a value with 4 digits "behind the comma" and i would like that to be 0.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI am having an issue with the Properties Manager in AutoCAD 2013 LT.
When a single object is selected, the dropdown appears blank and the properties displayed are just the default drawing properties that are displayed when nothing is selected.I am unable to view/modify any object's (line, hatch, etc) properties.
My PICKFIRST variable is set to 1. This happens on any file I open with 2013 LT but does not when the same file is opened with 2007 LT. I have also reinstalled/repaired the program through the control panel. I am at a complete loss.
When I click on Layer Properties Manager, I do not get the layers palette. The same goes for typing layerpalette in command.

View 2 Replies View Relatedas the subject states, at some point (I believe after uninstalling autodesk 360), our properties tool pallete will not populate info for the selected object. is there a fix other than re-installing from scratch? The installation fixer didn't work, and I've had to re-install twice now for other issues with the software, so it's getting very costly/time consuming to just re-install for these problems.
View 9 Replies View RelatedDon't know how or why this has happened, but my AutoCAD has suddenly stopped showing the correct shortcut menu's when I right click. This happens both in 'default mode' and 'edit mode'. All I get is the default menu instead of my customised edit menu.
I've not edited my CUI nor my right click customisation, but when I've checked them, both are as they should be. I just can't work it out. Also, the delete key won't allow be to delete selected objects anymore.
I'm not sure what was the last thing I did before this error occured, but I think at some point I wanted to press the delete key but may have ended up pressing either the insert, end or home key and maybe for 2-3 seconds. Not sure if these would change anything but thought I should mention it.
Is there anyway these may have been disabled, for example a small insignificant icon somewhere?
For the first month or so using PSP X4 I thought you couldn't open Properties and adjust blend ranges on entire layer groups, but it turns out I can if I open Properties from the menu. There is no context menu entry! What is with that, Corel? Minor UI issue but would be a nice inclusion.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have recently installed "Autodesk Product Design Suite Premium 2012 English Win 64bit"., and now I would like to create thru "Make Part" feature an assembly in which I am using in the previous version 2011. The feature options are not working.Step to re-create:
1. Manage Tab > Make Part
2. Under "Place part in target assembly" click the Folder button on New File Location
3. A "Component Properties" dialog box will appear. Now, click "YES" or "NO" button, dialog box closes.....

I'm using Architecture 2012 and all of a sudden the right-click context menus are no longer specific to the selected objects. If I pick a door/window tag, I no longer get the specific options to anchor it to a specific door/window. This is typical of all objects now. All that ever pops up is the basic context menu.

I was working on a file in CS2 and I wanted to save it but none of the menu bars are working. When I mouse over/click 'file' there is no drop down menu. Sometimes it will show me the drop down menu, but then I can't click save. None of the shortcuts like ctrl+s are working either. I'm working on an important project so I want to avoid restarting PSD without saving at all costs. Also the next to Untitled-1 it shows 63.8% instead of 100%. I'm not sure what this means.

Edit: actually, I'm seeing that this is not working in Contour, either. And it may not be working in other effects as well, although I haven't tested those.
I am trying to create an action to create a new layer by copying the bg layer, add a layer mask to the new layer and then start the Tilt Shift filter. All works until I go Insert Menu Item and choose Blur>Tilt Shift. It just doesn't get added to the action. Other menu items do work. I'm assuming this is an oversight in the implementation of CS6?Can't see that that can be the case.

I have setup a bleed for my document and have even tried a settings reset.
I recently downloaded and installed the latest version update. Everything seems to be working fine. However, one thing is not. The Set line width box in the flyout menu does not allow typing in a custom number. I thought it might have been a problem with my Cintiq but it is the same on my main monitor.
The Set line width box in the main toolbar works fine. But the one in the flyout doesn't work. I can select a setting from the dropdown list but just can't type in something like 1.5. It doesn't matter if I use my number pad--with the numlock on--or the keyboard numbers. Another strange thing I just noticed, when trying to type in a number in the flyout box, I cannot type 1 or 2 or a period but I can type in 0,3-9 although none of these changes the width of the line.
This worked okay in the previous version so perhaps it is a bug in the new release? (7.1.2.18680)

Also, I get an error message when I go into my CUI to try to modify the quick properties tab. Pretty frustrating. I've attached a couple of images for reference. I've repaired, re-installed and unistalled and re-installed and still have the same probelm.
