AutoCAD 2013 :: Group (not Block) Manipulation Trough Grip Cause Fatal Error
Jul 29, 2013If you create a group, after that select it and click on the insertion point (grip) using a lot of time the space bar (to switch between move, rotate, scale and mirror) after a while autocad crash.
Tested in AutoCAD 2013 and 2014 in more the one installation.

AutoCAD 2013 :: 2014 Object Enabler Causes Fatal Error On Etransmit And File Conversion
Aug 16, 2013I recently installed Autocad 2014 with Carlson Survey 2014. When I use Etransmit or file conversion i get a Fatal Error. when i uninstall the civil 3d object enabler, the problem goes away, but i need the object enabler and i need to convert files. Is this not a major issue that Autodesk would consider important enough to address, or is the object enabler minor in comparison to other issues?

Jan 20, 2010I am running AutoCAD LT 2008 and have started having a problem with a 2 to 3 second hang time when I select the grips on an object. The mouse just freezes up for a few seconds. It doesn't happen when I am in a command and select the object because the grips are not activated then. I have upgraded my graphics driver and reinstalled AutoCAD, with no improvement.

Sep 27, 2012When I select more than 100 entities all of the grip points disappear. With ACAD 2002 there seemed to be no limit to the number of entities you could select without losing the grips, but with ACAD 2007 they started dissapearing though with '07 clicking "View" "Regen" would bring them back into view (unless you accidentally click on another entity). With ACAD 2013 if I go over 100 that's it. This is mostly a problem for me as I use the spacebar shortcuts extensively in creating and manipulating my drawings. I have found other ways to to acomplish my needs such as using the move command but I have much successful history using my old methods and would like to continue with them.

AutoCAD LT :: Fatal Error Messages
May 16, 2012I keep on getting the fatal error messages like FATAL ERROR: unhandled Access Violation Reading 0xffffffff Exception at 1a89fc50h, when doing simple commands such as move, copy or selecting objects. It has also occurred when I've tried to save. They can occur up to 4 times a day .
I have tried emptying my temp folders and I've ensured my copy of AutoCAD 2011 LT is up to date but these are only temporary solutions as a few days later they will appear again.

AutoCAD LT :: Fatal Error When Printing DWG To PDF
Apr 16, 2013Due to a "FATAL ERROR: Unhandled c0000417h" my AutoCAD 2014 crashes every time I try to print a dwg to pdf.
It seems to only occur if I print one of any number of files within a particular/specific folder.
Things I am still able to do:
I can publish the very same drawings to pdf.
I can print a dwg to pdf if it is within a different folder.

Nov 19, 2013I am using AutoCad 2000 on Windows XP - and have had no problems for years. today - I went to print out a drawing, and when clicking on plot - or plot preview, it gave me: Fatal Error: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x0000 Exception at 5e2c36h. I thought it was just this one file, but none of the existing drawings I open will print. And they have always printed.

I've set up a drop down menu with various page setups coming from another file (-psetupin).
If I initiate a page setup for our Plotter or Printer, everything works fine. If I initiate a page setup for the 'dwg to pdf.pc3', I get the error listed above. I don't understand why, it worked fine not too long ago. Also, if I manually create a page setup with the same 'dwg to pdf.pc3' it works fine...

Every time I reload the program the numbers are different.

The second part of the message "at 7585c41fh" is different sometimes, but the first part is always the same.Then Autocad shuts down.

Nov 12, 2013I am currently using ACAD Civil 3D 2014. When I am in paper space and try to plot I get a Fatal Error before I even get to the plot menu. This is only happening in 2 specific drawings and I've done a purge, audit and drawing recovery. With 8GB of Ram there should be more then enough to at least plot a 5MB drawing.

Dec 9, 2013So I got a problem with a Drawing. I got 2 layouts from the same model space, the first one can be converted just as usual but when I`m trying to plot the second one I`m getting a fatal error. I already tried to copy it into a new layout and tried different PDFcreators such as PDF24 but it`s always the same. There are no special elements or such things in the layout. Ok so I just found out that the problem is the transparency because i can plot it without but i never had that problem before, i even plotted a drawing with transparency today.

AutoCAD Civil 3D :: 3D Orbit Causes Fatal Error
Nov 15, 2013Sometimes 3D orbit works perfect, and sometimes it causes a fatal error before you even get started with it. I originally thought it was just large 3D objects causing it, but now I think it's just a 2014 issue...because I've had simple 3d surfaces (3d polyline with a surface) that have caused it to crash, yet have other larger surfaces that orbit without issue. I'm mostly using it to compare 3D polylines to surfaces, usually on as built alignments that we're working on.

Aug 9, 2012I cannot print my layouts to pdf. Every time there is a fatal error.
It goes like this:
1. Open any drawing.
2. Select any layout.
3. File > Plot > Select PDF as printer/plotter
4. Click OK
5. Plot job progress bar appears
6. Fatal Error Message
7. Total crash, AutoCAD closes
FATAL ERROR: Unhandled c000000dh Exception at 237eb667h
It is with every drawing, different drawings, every time. It started suddenly.
I am using LT 2013. I used to have 2008. I got similar errors using 2008. I uninstalled it (after trying repair reinstall, which failed to correct the problem) and reinstalled windows, and upgraded to 2013. The problem was gone for a time and has just now restarted.
AutoCAD 2010 :: Getting FATAL ERROR When Printing?
Feb 8, 2012Whenever I try to do a print with a Visual Style of "REALISTIC" I get the following message, the numbers may change but it's always has the same outcome the program crashes and I have to restart the program.
So far, through trial and error it only appears to happen when using "REALISITIC" the other styles do not crash the program, at least not yet.
[Side note: may not of tried everyone yet.]
Error: "FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x000a Exception at 2653281h"
Running AutoCad 2012, with CadPipe 12.5. Printing is being sent to network printers and plotters, doesn't matter which one I send to, it will crash everytime.
