If so? How do I set which picture to display?

Sep 9, 2013I have a small problem with iLogic forms picture folder. Is there a way of seting the image by the selected tab ?
I want to update the image by the tab selection.
I have tried "if" or "select case" and neither one worked. as I am saying Stair_Properties = True it only makes the tab active. It doesnt indicate if it is selected, here is the code :

Nov 7, 2012how to delete iLogic forms from Inventor 2013 parts/assembly using VB.net 2010?
I am able to delete all the rule using "Activated_iLogic.DeleteAllRules(PartDoc)" but "Activated_iLogic.DeleteAllForms(PartDoc)" or "Activated_iLogic.DeleteForm(PartDoc, FormName)" does not give me the result I was expecting and Google is not showing any result related to this.

Nov 16, 2011I am just playing with iLogic forms and I have set a slider to move a part in 15 degree steps from 90 to 180 degrees, all is fine but the slider is on the left for 90 degrees and on the right for 180 degrees, I would like it to be able to be set so that 180 is on the left of the slider and 90 is on the right of the slider. is this possible?

Aug 3, 2011I'm trying to build a simple ilogic form to fill out iproperty infomation for parts we generate. Our company only uses a few of fields that are available. The problem is that the Physical tab is not available in the form editor. I would like to add this field to my form to be able to select the material for the part. The style/standard editor in our part template file holds all materials we use. Summary, Project, Status, and Custom are all available, why isn't Physical?

Apr 17, 2013I'm trying to create an ilogic rule that will look within the folders of an assembly and take the contents of each of those folders and demote them to separate sub-assemblies.
ie. Assembly1 contains NewFolder 1. NewFolder 1 contains Part1:1 and Part2:1. Upon executing the ilogic rule, I would like Assembly1 to contain NewFolder 1 and within NewFolder 1, Assembly1-01. Assembly1-01 contains Part1:1 and Part2:1. I would like this ilogic rule to look within each successive folder within Assembly1 and demote them according to their position in the browser such that NewFolder 1 - at the top of the browser list - contains Assembly-01, NewFolder 2 contains Assembly-02, etc.
I currently copy a master assembly with browser folders that contain parts and sub-assemblies to a secondary assembly where I manually demote the contents of the folders to sub-assemblies. When I create a drawing for our machine assembly department, the demoted sub-assemblies to isolate only those parts - nuts, bolts and the pieces they fit to - so it is easier for the assembly department when putting a machine together.
Is it possible, using ilogic, to demote folder contents to sub-assemblies with an assembly document?

If a certain iProperty is set to yes, we want the user to save that file into a particular folder, if they try and save it elsewhere a message is popped up telling them an error has been made please try and save in the correct folder.

May 6, 2013i want to use pictures with my forms and was wondering if i can use them like the way i showed in attached image.
the CaseA image is the one i can currently use and CaseB is the way i want to use. My reason to do this is, i have alot of parameters to change and having both the picture and a menu below/above takes alot of space which also seems redundant.

Jan 10, 2014I had some success transferring geometries, generated with an advanced math software, to Inventor using IGES files containing Manifold Solid B-Rep Object Entities (Type 186) (see the specification IGES5-3_forDownload-1.pdf). Now I would like to include several Type 186 entities into a single IGES file and form the geometrical unit of these (and them), for which the IGES Boolean Tree Entity (Type 180) seems to exist. I'll do some trial-and-error testing, but it would be very useful to have a (reliable) list of all IGES entities the Inventor IGES import function does or does not support (like these: Transcendata, MoldflowInsight). Unfortunately I could not find such a list anywhere.
Another question: Are the IGES import/export functions of Inventor written by Autodesk (and/)or are third-party libraries used? If the latter, which ones?

This source works, but if i instance a new form on a new drawing, the first drawing's layer list is kept and the new layer list on the second drawing is ignored!

Nov 5, 2013I'm trying to use iLogic Design Copy to copy an assembly and all its associated parts to another directory. The assembly contains content center parts. Inventor warns me that the destination file of one of the CC parts (and 18 others) will be overwritten. When I go ahead and copy anyway, the copying process stops at that specific CC part. The Design Copy Progress dialog box states there is an error copying that CC part. When I close the Design Copy Progress dialog box, Inventor crashes.
The error copying the CC part: I'm allowed to use content center parts in iLogic Design Copied stuff, right? I searched some related topics and I'm under the impression that Inventor keeps the CC parts in its own directory and shouldn't be trying to overwrite them.
AutoCAD .NET :: Break Points Not Stopping Code On Modeless Forms?
Mar 8, 2012I am using acad 2012, and VS 2010 (C#) on win 7 64 bit.
I made a form, and showing it as modeless via Application.ShowModelessDialog... as recommended by everyone and that works fine.
I have a button that does something, and I set a break point right on the first line of code for its callback.
The button runs fine, but VS is not stopping at the break point.
Is there a different technique required when debugging modeless forms?

AutoCAD Inventor :: Form Picture - Parameter Driven Picture On A Form
Apr 10, 2013I am working on a form (global) and have added a picture with a parameter and a picture folder underneath. So that the picture displayed on my form will change depending on the parameter value.Here comes the trick. Only text parameters can be used!On the form editor only 'Text parameter' can be selected to drive the picture selection. I actually need an integer, so that i can use my User/Excel parameters from Inventor.
I can work this around with an iLogic rule to equal the value of my string Picture Parameter with the relevant integer Inventor parameter, but the rules need to be run before the pic and the form updates (by pressing the 'Apply' button at the bottom of the form and then the assy updates too. So this takes a couple of minutes)... whereas if it was an option on the form editor then the update would be instant without waiting for everything to update...
Is there a particular reason why the Picture Parameter only can be a text parameter?
AutoCAD Inventor :: ILogic Min Or Max?
Nov 13, 2013I am doing a tie rod the issue I have is when the length is between 2.001 and 2.250 we would drill thru all but only tap the ends .750 deep. If the part is 2.000 would would drill and tap thru in one step and not have to rotate the part in the lathe.
How do I get ilogic to understand if my number is between this 2.001 and 2.250 to lengthen the drill length parameter?Or add a mid plane cut? ( trying now code below reflects this try)
