I got the first attached message regarding UNDO command which I ignored. The second attached message then came and my UNDO command was frozen. I lost a lot of work done after I have shut down and restarted my computer.
Who knows what I should have done after the first or the second message?

My goal is to have a message box open as soon as an assembly file is opened so that other users will be warned/ notified of linked parameters. My assumption is that an iLogic rule would be the best way to handle this.
I can create the message box, but when I looked through the iLogic snippets I didn't find any way to trigger the box at opening the file.

I accidentally removed a folder with images from my lightroom catalog. The lightroom .lrcat file seems to be intact (112.400kb) and the images are still on my hard drive.
Is there anyway that i can reimport the folder and that lightroom applies the changes that i earlier made on them? I assume all that information is stored in the catalog file? But when i try to reimport them, no changes are being made.

I often save drawings in DXF format elsewhere on another server for the sheet metal guys to be able to open them and work with them. It is a completely different folder and server than where my working folder is (and Vault as well). Is there a way to get that folder as a shortcut on the left where it shows my working folder? Difficult to drill down through all the necessary folders every time I save a DXF 100 times a day.

I have a problem understanding how undo marks are added to the undo stack.In the code below a fan of lines are draw in a random location.If you run MTest a few times, the AutoCAD Undo command will remove the fans one at a time.
If you run MMulti to draw 10 fans, the AutoCAD Undo command will remove all the fans in a single step.I want to be able to remove the fans one at a time.I thought that a StartTransaction / Commit pair would act as markers for the undo stack, but this isn't working.
Tested on AutoCAD 2010 VS 2008
<CommandMethod("MMult")> _
Sub testmult()
Dim i As Integer
For i = 1 To 10
Call testdraw()
Next
End Sub
[code]....

I have been working with LR 2.7 for a while now and was happy with it.
PC - Win XP - LR3.5
Photo's stored on external hard disk (K:)
The RAW captures of a Nikon 3100 I recently won were not being recognized/imported by LR 2.7 and I installed the 3.5 version to see if it was any better. I would have to buy it anyway by the time I switch to Win7. In 3.5 the Raw files were imported, the settings of 2.7 were nicely taken over but now and I cannot export the files I have worked on to the K: drive of the external hard drive as I used to do with 2.7.
I get the message 'The folder could not be found' though it is set in the Export Window and I am looking at it in Win Explorer.
The original RAW captures are on the D: drive but that was always the case with 2.7 as well... I am doing it exactly as I used to with 2.7.
I tried with a photo from an older folder of my usual camera and everything works fine there.The problem seems to be only with the Nikon files. Now I start wondering if there is something with raw format of this Nikon camera that is putting LR in a twist...

I am reorganizing my file structure in LR4. I can move jpegs from one folder to another but I get an error message when I try to move the NEF files. I saw another discussion that mentioned that Lightroom has a problem moving NEF files. I don't have a large collection yet (less than 10,000 images) but I have made extensive edits on many of the shots so I don't want to import them from scratch again.

I think it'd be so cool to be able to replay your entire undo history of a picture, so you can see and show others how you proceeded on a picture you made. That way, it's never necessary to capture screen video for like 10 hours and stuff..
So first you'd need to add an option to save the undo history (so that you always keep the history from when you started). Then you'd need an option to playback the undo history.

We are running ACA 2001 on WIndows Vista 64 bit. The Detail Component Manager will not open on (2) of our (7) machines and returns the error message: "Specified cast is not valid". The files are located on each machine. I have tried running a repair; I have copied the Detail Component Manger files over from the good machines, and I have also run a re-install and the Detail Component Manager still will not work.

Has this functionality been removed in the 2011 API. What worked fine in 2010 now throws an "Error Decrypting Data" error on trying to open a drawing created with an educational version. These are student files that we are examining with an external marking program. The application can open non-educational versions without issue.

I have a function which removes the filepath from an IDW drawing which is handy when exporting to other formats. Currently it's just used in a batch script so the drawings close without being saved and there is no problem. Now I'm trying to make another macro which will just export the currently open drawing. So I have to undo removing the file path so the drawing is back to it's original state.
Below is the code for removing the filepath from the titlebar. I tried to do the reverse and put <FILENAME AND PATH> back in, however it appears as normal text. Since the title block uses "variables" which update with other properties and I don't wish to lose that adaptibility.
Function Remove_FilePath()On Error GoTo ErrMsgDim oDrawDoc As DrawingDocumentSet oDrawDoc = ThisApplication.ActiveDocument' Create the new title block defintion.Dim oTitleBlockDef As TitleBlockDefinitionSet oTitleBlockDef = oDrawDoc.ActiveSheet.TitleBlock.DefinitionDim oSketch As DrawingSketchCall oTitleBlockDef.Edit(oSketch)Dim count As Integercount = 1While oSketch.TextBoxes.Item(count).Text <> vbNullString If oSketch.TextBoxes.Item(count).Text = "<FILENAME AND PATH>" Then oSketch.TextBoxes.Item(count).Text = " " End If count = count + 1WendErrMsg:Call oTitleBlockDef.ExitEditEnd Function
So I either need a way to undo the actions of the subroutine or know how to insert the "variable" which references the file's properties.

I try to do animation rendering by setting up the animation and letting run overnight sometimes. I often get the pop up window telling me that "the "undo" file size has reached its limit - Do I want to increase the file size?" This pauses the rendering until I hit the OK button.
