I've got an IDW drawing that I'm working on and this seems to be happening more and more often. I can fix this issue by either dragging/moving the viewports or double clicking, making a change and clicking OK on *each* viewport.
View 9 RepliesI am having a problem plotting any viewports that are not set to 2D wireframe. All viewports set to 2D wireframe plot correctly but anything set to hidden of conceptual plots as a black square.

But for some reason now when I use it, it is turning everything to black. So I have to change the colour manually rather than using the eyedropper to get a similar colour.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI've seen tons of photos in black and white that look spectacular. I have a feeling a lot are taken with black and white film, but some must be turned b/w! My question then is how do you achieve this awesome b/w in photoshop? For a while I just turned it grayscale (i know, i know.) Then I just desaturated. And recently someone told me to make a hue/sat adjustment layer and play with each of the different shades. After playing with all these ways I haven't been able to get the effects I want. I tried browsing around looking for a picture that embodies what I want just in case...And I finally decided to just give you a site, I love this photographer and the ways she uses b/w and other tons!

I have a new problem in Maya 2013. When I select the mesh and select 3D paint it turns black... and if I set any color I paint with grays. It happens with all my characters, and I didn't had this problem before.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI am evaluating 3DSMax 2013 and my last version of Max was 6. When I turn my viewports to shaded, the viewports fade to black. The objects and everything are still there, and it seems like there is no light source. If I move an object around, the viewport lights back up, yet as soon as I am done moving it, it fades to black again. Is this a preference setting I have missed or something?

Is there a way to export out the layout tab where the viewport contents have been converted and placed into the layout space?
Ideally, I'm hoping to basically convert the viewport heavy paperspace into a dumb model space layout.

When attempting to add simple text on an individual layer, the layer is turning black. This prevents me from seeing the text I'm editing. When I move to another layer the text displays correctly. When I go to edit the text by clicking the image the layer goes black again. It is like editing text in the dark, turning the light on to see the changes, turning the light off to make the changes, repeat.
Syncing in plural eyes is good with our pro res files, but when I try and sync with some mp3 files from a zoom h1 recorder it goes black at the bottom of the timeline and responds really buggy.

Currently, I am working on a drawing which has surfaces. Though I saved the view rep without those surfaces, still I am getting it in drafting. I have unchecked assosiative in drawing view rep still no use.

It works for some viewports, but not for others. A "List" of the objects show the viewports are the same. I have a LiSP routine that gets me more info about selected objects. When I export a intervenor file to jpeg or pdf, the edges are not smooth at all under the link, the jep file has the edges that are jagged up and not smooth. Are there settings to make the edges smoother or smooth when you export them to jpeg or anything.

It was working the other day and I haven't changed any settings or downloaded any service packs so I don't know why it stopped doing this and for the life of me I cannot figure out how to make it start again. I have just recently upgraded (if you want to call it an upgrade) to Inventor Pro 2013 from 2011 so I'm not quite sure how to change everything else.

Ive started at a company where all of their parts and assemblies have all of the work planes, axis and points visible. Im getting bored of going view, object visibility, turn off all work features everytime i open a new model. Anything written that will turn off these features and only turn them back on when requested.
basically im looking for a shortcut, rather than opening every part and assembly and doing it manually.
I have a drawing which is referencing a .ipn model, the .ipn model has all of it's trail line invisible however the drawing is showing them all visible. What I am trying to do is find a simple and quick way to turn off the visibility of ALL the trail lines in the drawing without having to pick out each one and ajust manually, The model .ipn is quite complicated and has many trails on it so I really need a way to turn off the visibility of these in the drawing.

Is there a way to automate the process of turning off the Work features in a .iam and STILL be able to add new Work features. View>Object Visibility is not the answer because you are unable to construct NEW Work features. If there isn't a menu selection, can a “batch file” be developed to search the Browser and turn off all Work features currently listed in the tree?
