View 4 RepliesI have alignment with 2 curves at the beginning and end that I want to keep. It has a few PIs in between ke that are not supposed to have curves, but Civil 3D added them in (very short 200 ft radius curves), but I need to take all but the first and last curves out.
I tried setting Constraint Editing - toggled OFF lock all parameter constraints. Then I went into the data and tried to change the parameter. Can't get the curve out. Is there a way to convert a PI from one with a curve to one without a curve?
I can't afford to redraw this alignment - it's being referenced via Data Shortcuts to multiple drawings being used by me and my designer / already has my design profiles and existing profiles attached to it.
How to do this? - Delete the curves and make them PIs only? (without curves).
How can you remove or add a tab to the properties palette? I somehow have an extra Display tab on my properties palette and I can't find a way to remove it.

View 6 Replies View RelatedToday's Question is as mentioned above, How to remove the loops from a surface?
I have a surface created from the points. Eventually it has got many ups & downs in the elevations, so I did delete some of the points from the surface. And due to this, some loops are developed inside the surface itself with the closed boundaries.
I also tried to draw surface lines in those loops, either they get shorten or gets enlarged but does not completely vanishes...

I have an "existing" surface built. But there has been some construction since my company surveyed the site. So, my surveyor went out and got the new points in the area of the new construction. I am trying to remodel the "existing" surface without rebuilding the entire surface. I have removed the old (demoed) points from the point group used to define the surface. But, the points are not being removed from the surface.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI see BreakLinesDefinition prop, but only add methods.
I assume the RemoveAt is of no use, as you cannot get the objectID of each breakline to decide if its one that should be removed.
COM is the only way it seems.

View 7 Replies View RelatedAttached is a zip file with a standalone program to aid in cleaning up the Recent Documents list for all flavors of AutoCAD, 2009-2013.
It's pretty self explanatory, just be sure to run it with no sessions of AutoCAD, or vertical products, running. It should refuse to run if it sees any Acad.exe application in the running tasks list. Once the dialog opens it will show you all of the Autocad related products you have installed, select one and it will fill in the first list of recent documents. Then select a profile for that product and the second list will populate with the SSM related recent documents saved for that profile. You can then select any item from either list, if the same DST filename exists in both lists it will automatically select them both. Use the standard selection methods to select more than one (shift-click, control-click, window).
Be sure to Unblock, if needed, the zip file before extracting the exe file. (Check the file properties)

As far as I know there is no way to add or remove vertices on contour label lines. Is this correct?
If so it's another one for my wish list.

Any lisp routine that will remove "phantom parcels" in a drawing? They are the parcels many topics on this discussion forum have topics on, that can be selected but can't be deleted by any simple means.
The drawing is relatively new...with minimal objects in it. Just some Feature Lines and 3D Polylines. I have Sites in my drawing...but no parcels. Only thing in the sites are the feature lines. When I do a Q SELECT for the parcels it selects and highlights my feature lines, which is weird.

1 - How to I remove the bottom label on the vertical axis (label 25.00 on the image below).
2 - How can I get only the start and end labels offset away from the line?
3 - Can I change the size of this title (SCALE 1:200) to be different from the CHAINAGE 10.00m title?
4 - My band sets are labeling grade breaks every 2m. Why does my grade breaks show at 2.24m/5.44m etc I would expect this to be 2/4/6/8/10/12/14m or is there a way I can change this so that they only label to major grade changes (i.e. the bottom of slopes).

I have a drawing with a bunch of layers that cannot be deleted since they are nested in block definitions. However, the blocks are not in use and cannot be purged. I think it is because they are referenced for point styles, that are also not in use. Is there a way to delete the point style in order to clear these layers and blocks?

I needed to remove a feature line that I used as a break line when creating a surface. When I removed the feature line from the definition of the surface, the grading did not change. It appears the points created by the feature line remain which is why grading didn't change. The only work around was to delete these points.
I noticed the same thing happens when I removed the surface boundary and inserted a new boundary. why these points remain and how to remove when I delete boundary and feature line from surface?
I would like to get some variety of photos looking like they were taken during the civil war era. This would include white specks, black splotches, blurred edges, irregular black edges, etc. I have looked for ways in which to accomplish this and have not been successful at this.
Currently, I am using the following to varying degrees: Sepia Toning/Black and White, Blur, Salt and Pepper noise, and Vignette.

Assuming the model space is active with a zoom extents, my question is:
I have 2 selection sets:
- ssA= The first one that contains all the entities (SelectAll).
- ssB= The second one that as been made using the SelectCrossingWindow method.
What I want is to remove the 2nd selection set from the first one: in other words, to get (ssA-ssB).
In VBA, I remember we had a Remove Items method, but it seems not in VB.NET. How to make this subtraction?
I repeat that ssB contains SelectedObjectByWindow...
We have just upgraded Autocad from 2008 to 2014. Most of our drawing have an embeded VBA content in them. When we open the drawings we get a notice to "Convert, Download or Continue". We know what this OLD content is and wish to remove it completely. We would rather not download the VBA modules, for this will remove the warning all together.
Is there a way to remove the VBA content?

I am working on batch processes and have some files with Embedded VBA Projects. This has spread to several files now because of our work flow - open an old file, save with a new name. Attached is the dialog that is displayed when the files are opened in the editor. I would like to "extract" the embedded macros in .NET. They do not need to be there and they interupt the batch processes. I know I could un-check the "Always ask before opening projects with macros" but I would rather extract / remove them.
