when i type a fraction in a label the fraction is alwas stacked i have to unstack the fraction but when i unstake the fraction the fraction show up like this 1 1#2. any thoughts about how to fix this? this only happens on one computer when a different user use that same drawing the fraction always show up unstaked 1 1/2.
View 2 RepliesI'm trying to use diagnol fractions in my label text for 1/2 and 1/4 deltas. It displays and seems to work fine in Autocad, but when I plot, the numbers have trouble displaying themselves.
I'm using a light color from our .ctb, so I thought that was the problem, but that doesn't seem to be the case (I tried two heavier lineweights and it only got worse). Increasing the percentage size of the fraction also has no effect.
I'm trying to create a label which gives me a distance from the begining of my reference, but coordinates are not good for this because my reference is not linear. It is a alignement with tangents and curves. What I'm trying to figure out is how to create a label with the distance of the projection of the begining point of my feature line in the alignment to the begining of the alignment.
For example: There is a alignment (road) and a feature line (curb). The alignment is the axis of the road and the feature line is an edge of the road (not need to be exactly an offset). How to configure a label to show the two kilometer markers (0.0001 precision) of the road that are the beginning and ending markers of the part of the road that has curb?

View 9 Replies View RelatedWhen I reposition structure labels (in their 'dragged state'), the component <[Structure Offset Side(CU)]> does not show up while in drag mode. Sort of makes it hard to see the limits of the label if you are trying to place it in a congested area. Watch the "LT" part of the label in the GIF below.
No, it's not that big of a deal, but alignment labels with the same component do not behave this way, so I have to wonder why the structure labels do.....
I have note labels in one drawing. An Elevation style that list the elevation of the insertion point. The label texts are dragged to new locations. When I xref this drawing in to another. The label text shows at both the insertion points and the dragged locations. What's going on??
I've made sure the labels aren't duplicated on another layer. If I change the layer of the dragged text and do an Xlist in the drawing they're xrefed in to. The dragged text list on the layer I've change it to. The text in the original position lists on layer 0, which is the default layer for creation.

I am trying to set-up point and point label styles to show trees on a survey plan. The point styles is set with a block, and a label is a regular label style that shows a point number and elevation. The problem comes when the label is positioned outside of the block that represents the point. What I need is sort of fixed offset from the center of the point.

View 1 Replies View RelatedC3D 2013. We have profile line labels, some of which get manually edited (for example, change the "<[Tangent grade(FP|P2|RN|AP|GC|UN|SD|OF)]>" to a static number such as 0.29%).
However, if you CTRL+Click and select one of these labels and change the style of that one label, then the manual edits are lost and the label reverts back to the default string.
Is there any way to turn this behavior off?
Is there a way to "Edit Label Text" in a Parcel area label? Similar to the way you can edit it in other styles.

Am using Lightroom 4.3 on Sno Leopard.
In the photo menu, there isn't a stack menu item to select so that I can then unstack the images?

I have some stacked and some unstacked images in a group. If I 'select all' I can't unstack the stacked ones. If I select more than one stacked image I can't unstack both at the same time.

When i dimension, however, it does not seem to stack the fractions the same way. I took a look at the Format - Dimension setting and did not see the option in there to change it. Is there a simple way to change something in the settings to either not display this at all or sontrol how/where it is displayed? It is annoying when you do a zoom extents being you now get 2 small dots on screen, 1 being the actualy drawing at the correct utm cooridnates and the other being this piece of text down at 0,0.

PI's close to each other will then overlap. What I would like to do is apply a style that will have the line and text go exactly in the opposite direction. I am trying to avoid dragging the text as that seems to bring up several more issues. I am looking for whatwhere to change within the style editor to make this happen.

For example, I'd like to be able to pick on the node of a feature line or 3D polyline (or any object really) and have a label placed that displays the elevation of the object at the point where it was picked. This could appear similar to the surface spot elevation label, but instead of getting it's elevation from a surface, it would come from the object where picked.
Alternatively, any way to create a label style, perhaps using the Note label, to display something like this? I don't even care if it is dynamic or not, static would be fine. However, I do need it to scale innovatively . Tool Pac has a feature that does this, but the label is just a polyline and text that is not annotative.
we are in a situation where we want a dynamic wall label. how can i make that happen if technically the top of wall and bottom of wall are at two different x and y points. ideally i would like have one label and list it this way by referencing surface elevations:
