i've got a drawing from another company that has a bunch of points. i need to change all the styles to flatten them to a 0' elevation instead of the elevation they were shot at. i don't want to go through each point style to change that one setting. is there a way to do them all at one time?

I know, I could start with a prefect template and copy that one over sequences, but in practice I find that you end up changing your mind mid-way about the specifics.
Coming from FCP, I remember there was a way to do this via an XML readout of the sequence (doing a "find and replace" query). Is there anything similar in PP? Or maybe even easier? An extension?
Anything that let me avoid clicking on hundreds of clips to change the style individually.

If I manually change it to a child style and then check the values, they are the same as what I'm trying to set them to. If you use a "parent" style then these both work. Am I doing something wrong or this another limitation?

How to make a macro that changes the font for a specific Text Style. The name of the Text Style is eg. "3mm", which I want to change from RomanS to Verdana.
I got a work that I have to change around 1200 drawings from Microsoft Visio to AutoCad 2009. One annoying thing is that the Visio drawings got Arial as text style and my company want everything in their own textstyle. So at the moment I single click all text bar and change the style, there must be a faster way to fix this.

Unfortunately we have a Text Style being used somewhere within our template that we want to get rid of.
Are there any tools or methods to be able to find this Text Style?
I have personally gone through all the dialogue boxes trying to find it an cannot.
How do I change the font styles of multiple mtext's.
Select all the boxes, type mo for properties, then change the style in the properties window. To make this simpler in the future I put all the text boxes in their own layer so I can use qselect to select them all quickly.
Cant change font style, saving image box flickers in and out and the screen jumps???

I have looked through all the start up files, all the lisp files and can't find anything that would be creating them!
They appear in any file I open, new or old and even if I open a template file.
I have attached a file that should be empty but you will (or should) see both a font and table style called "Legend".
(FYI I am running AutoCAD Civil 3D 2010 as AutoCAD 2010)
Is there any way to lock a text style so that the associated font style can not be changed?

I have Civil 3D 2013 and would like to define the station tick marks. Unfortuantely, the only style that appears on the Import pull down is "Standard". How do I go about downloading or loading from an appropriate program folder the "Tick" style set?

Is there a way to change the marker style on general note labels that are already in the drawing without having to select them all and change it in the properties? I want to change the marker style from "basic" to "none" on the note labels but I'm not seeing a ToolSpace setting to change them all at the same time without having to individually change it...

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a user who inadvertently changed the text contents of an mleader from "ByLayer" to 1,255,0, which is giving us some serious issues with our plotting, as we use a .ctb file for printing. Unfortunately, this error must have occurred fairly early in the project, because it is now replicated throughout the 100 page set. The text color was changed through the mtext editor, so just changing the overall properties of the mtext or leader doesn't affect the text. The only way that I know of to correct the issue is to edit each piece of text, select the contents, and change them back to ByLayer. This is going to be a real pain.
So here is the question: Is there a way to change the color of multiple pieces of mtext, without opening each and every individually?
Is there a way to search for a text style in a civil style? I have a text style that our company is trying to get rid of and I would very much like to not have to go through our 72 company styles.

I would like for all of the attributes to be set to "by layer". However, I find that the it only allows me to change one block at a time. As said earllier, I have over 400 blocks.

Using Civil 3d2012, Is it possible to change the alignment label style set after the alignment has been created? For example, for an alignment that was created with alignment label set X - change the label set to alignment label set Y? It seems like this should be pretty easy, I must be missing something obvious.
