Im doing a embankment lift and the client wants the corners neatly and not curved or champers.
Also the outside corner should not curve. I can do it with gradings or futurelines, but if there is a design change i have to redo everything.

Aug 9, 2012I created a road centerline profile and corridor and then created a profile of the two curb lines from the corridor. The road profile that I made has a vertical curve in it but the curb profiles do not show that information, just grade breaks every 25 feet based on the corridor sampling distance.
I would like to have the vertical curve information on the curb profiles.

Mar 21, 2013My corridor surface is not matching my corridor top links. see attachments. this is affecting my volumes!
The section-plan(surface red).png is showing the section editor and the plan view. the red highlighted line in section is the corridor surface and as you can see in plan view the surface is incorrect and wiggly.
The pdf is all my sections with the red linework being the corridor surface.

Jan 24, 2011I cant see how to do this but there must be a simple way of doing it. Howe do I have pointed corners for the top left and top right then curved bottom left / bottom right of a rectangle that I create. I tried unlocking the shape but it still seems to do all or nothing. Dec 31, 2013I have ran an analysis and SSA gave me Error 607  on the report. It says "Inlet A9 gutter capture curve is not a valid curve."
A couple things I did different from the video lectures...
IÂ selected user define for the Tc to figure out Q. i computed those manually.
For the Inlets I have selected Maximum Capture Cutoff.
There are some inlets in this model I created that do not capture 100% of the flow so i created conveyance links to account for the bypass flow.Not sure why is not recognizing the Curve?

Â that is, I want to have global values for the dimensions in the picture below: post diametervertical width between post centreshorizontal width between post columns (again, centre to centre)vertical shift of each column w.r.t. previous one I've used the Rectangular Pattern tool to create a repetition of my posts, but I want to shift each column of posts up slightly with respect to the one before as in the attached picture:
It seems that if you want to repeat along non-perpendicular axes like this, Inventor fails if there are too many repeats. Â I came across this when searching the site:

I can verify that this is my exact problem but can add that in my example, 4 repeats on the almost horizontal axis and 3 on the vertical work fine. Â However, 3 almost horizontal axis repeats by 4 vertical axis repeats will only work if I choose the vertical axis as Direction 2. Â (Is this a bug or am I trying to use the Rectangular Pattern Tool incorrectly?)
The repeat unit can be simplified to 1 circle with 2 construction lines along the repeat Direction instead of the 2x2 circles shown here but the problem persists. Also
