Something has happened and I can no longer use the DEL key to erase objects. In fact, to erase anything I have to first click the erase button then select the objects to erase.
Is there a command to correct this issue?

I've been running AutoCAD 2006 since it came out and have been running it on Windows 7 since it came out. I've never had any problem runnning my LT version. Today, all of a sudden I cannot type text in the multi-tex box. The cursor moves in the box but nothing is shown. I click okay but cannot select anything. It's like the cursor is moving but not laying down text. I've changed the different fonts, colors and even changed my background from Black to While and still cannot see any text.
My single line text tool continues to work just not the multi-line text box.
I also tried restarting my computer and tried opening existing files. The multi-line box problem occurs on other files to.
I had 3 updates through the so-called cloud. They were bridge CC, Photoshop CC and an extension mgr update to CS6. After installing the updates Photoshop CC no longer works. It boots up but all selections do nothing. Even closing PS cc won't work.

View 2 Replies View RelatedChanging the UI Font size in Prefs>Interface>Text no longer works. It did work after I installed CS6 - I was able to change to the Medium setting, and change it back to Small. Now the actua text size stays at Small, even though it is set to medium. This afterafter I restart PSx64.
I have deleted CS6x64 prefs. Updated today - (says 13.0.1, though I believe the updater said it would update Photoshop to 13.0.1.1)
Windows Appearance and Personalization>Display is set to the default - Smaller. I wonder it may have to do with changing that size - I had tried setting that to Medium - 125%, but set it back to the default Smaller - 100%. Not sure when the PS UI text size stopped working.
I hope that my mentioning changing the Windows 7 Display from 100% to 125% and then back to 100% will give someone a clue.

All of a sudden the Move Tool no longer works. When I try to move an layer on the screen with the Move Tool it moves slightly then jumps back to its original position. The only way I can move a layer at the moment is to use Free Transform, which is not ideal.

The flyer I was working on was built with Myriad pro and now the text layers need to be redone. I see myriad arabic but this is a major inconvenience considering all of my files need to be reformated.
I search my windows 7 font folder for meriad pro and it doesnt show up. I try to reinstall myriad pro and it says its already installed. I got the program "Font Expert" and it does show myriad pro is installed and ready to go. Illustrator CS3 does not let me use Myriad pro now either.
how to airbrush. I have been using it since. Copying layer adding noise and blur and then layer masking and painting with the brush tool. All of the sudden the last step no longer works. I paint and no layer shines through. I must have done somthing to a setting.

View 1 Replies View RelatedPreviously when editing a group in isolation mode you could double-click a group and then the individual objects in that group become editable. Now in CS6 a group remains grouped in isolation mode, so to edit individual objects the group needs to be manually ungrouped while in isolation mode, then you have to remember to group them again before exiting isolation. This is a very un-useful new development. CS6, Windows 7 x64.

View 11 Replies View RelatedMy scroll wheel no longer works after installing Lightroom 4.4. In all previous versions, I was able to use my Logitech scroll device to adjust the sliders in the development panel. In the 4.4 version, the scroll wheel no longer works and instead of adjusting an individual slider, it scrolls the whole development panel up and down. I did uninstall the mouse driver and reinstalled but that did not work. The mouse works just fine in all other programs. I think it is a bug with the 4.4 version. I am operating in Windows 7.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy Edit/Fill command (shift + F5) has suddenly turned into Grow. I've seen other people with this problem and the only solution I have seen up to now is to use (shift + delete) instead. That to me isn't a solution, it completely disrupts my workflow to try using a new key command that should be something else. I've also read about people deleting preferences, restarting, etc, and I've tried all of those things. I did have some issues with my Function keys because of something I had clicked in my finder preferences but I fixed that issue, and it seems that only Photoshop has lingering problems. And of course, my PSD keyboard shortcuts all look fine, nothing has changed there so something is overriding the keyboard shortcuts. Could it be something in my Photoshop preferences that I'm overlooking?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI just updated to 13.0.4 at the end of last week. Today I went to use the Color Range command and it will not select any colors. The Eyedropper tool works fine. Adjusting the fuzziness and other options doesn't make a difference. Nor does selecting multiple instances of a color to add to the selection. Since I use this command regularly, I feel confident that it is a bug with the update and I would love to hear of any possible fixes. Or, is it possible to downgrade back to 13.0.3? I didn't realize how much I used this and it's a major inconvenience.

My foregorund pallette is X'd out (i.e. a circle with a slash through it). I have this also when trying todraw a poly like a circle or rectangle.
Also background eraser does not erase fully anymore.
the Apple and 1 shortcut doesnt work anymore, Apple and 0 to fit on screen still does

In all previous versions of LR, I could select non contiguous folders (or collections or a mix of the two) by holding down the Command key (using a Mac). That doesn't work in LR4. Also, when I create virtual copies (which I also do all the time), the copies lose the name of the original. They are simply name "copy 1."

If the case, what subassembly would I use for the "something else"? If it's cut, the table below also determines the backslope... forming a ditch. How is the clear zone factored in? I need it to go the the flowline of the ditch when it's in cut. I have a design speed of 40mph, ADT of 7000+.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWe are currently using 2012 Civil 3D, and we have a issue with a drawing that not all the Pipes from the pipe network are displaying in the Profile, and even the pipe properties display box the lengths show up way too long and the stationing does not display correctly in this pipe properties box either.
The Big Twist is that we have 2 machines in the offices that will display the drawing correctly, in profile view and pipe properties display box has correct lengths and stationing. So we know it is not styles, etc.
Direct support has suggested we un-install all Autodesk products and reinstall them all again, we tried the repair, however this did not work. Any other way before we have to go through all this work, as we are looking a huge amount of downtime, and we do not think this is the issue. Perhaps a Civil 3D variable or Autocad variable is different?
Okay so LDD 09 will no longer be supported by why do we get a new version included with C3D 2013?The install package is larger than the original so there are some differences.
View 8 Replies View RelatedFrom my lidar point cloud, I created a surface with 1 & 5 foot contours. I then put in a feature line between two hills to represent a fenceline. I go to look at the properties of that 487 foot feature line and the 3D length is only 1/2 foot longer than the 2D. The min and max elevations difference is 22 feet. So how can the 3D line only be that much longer than the 2D?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI am starting a Job in 2013 for the first time. Upgrade form 2011 C3D. The pipe structures are no longer updating when the surface updates. It will obtain an elevation from the surface when the structure is created but when I change the surface or even set the structure to a new surface, the Top of Casting will not update. Any thoughts as to whether or not this is a 2013 issue or if there is a new setting I need to change? This worked perfectly in 2011. I didn't use 2012.
