I have the latest version of Autodesk 360 and I am using Autocad LT 2014.
There seems to be no pattern for when the Sync gets stuck, but occasionally Autodesk 360 will sync indefinitely and it causes AutoCAD to run extremely slow. Restarting the computer fixes it but it has been happening a few times every week. I have attached my ADSync.log file for review.
Since I have decided to use the 'sync settings online' however now when I try to open 13 or 14 stall on opening the only way I can get round it is by opening windows task manager and ending the 'acSettingSync.exe' and the 'acCloudManager.exe'. This doesn't work everytime but 75% of the time.

For example I will be editing points on a Gmask then go to click elsewhere like the render mask button. instead of toggling the button it tries to pop the last moved Gmask point to where I have clicked. and this persists ever after hitting undo and trying again. View 2 Replies View RelatedSo I was working in 3D and I guess I pressed some kind of button or something that caused my 3D cursor to only move along the x=0 line. If I move my cursor up, it moves it lightly sideways. It stops when I move into side/top/front views, but as soon as I pan into 3D view, the cursor only appears along the x-axis. I'm probably overlooking a simple AutoCAD command, but I'm a new user and I can't find the answer anywhere in the manual or on the internet.

Inventor starts and works fine until we want to use Inventor Studio to render anything. The option is greyed out, if i remove the add-on and re-add it, the options becomes available but all of the options within Inventor studio are greyed out, so it's useless to me.
This is someone else's preview but it applies to this scenario.

I can verify that under the same profile with UAC turned off it all works.
I need to leave UAC on and I need to be able to render using Inventor Studio.
In the setup.ini file look for the following line
POSTREQUISITE=ACAD_PSPACK;ADSYNC;ACADSKETCHUPIMPORT
Remove ADSYNC; from that line so you are left with:
POSTREQUISITE=ACAD_PSPACK;ACADSKETCHUPIMPORT
I do this operation. I uncheck on my deployment Autodesk 360 on AutoCAD.But when I try to install AutoCAD he still install the Autodesk 360.
When I search on my deployment folder all the setup.ini. I found 5 of them.But only 1 have the line that I change.
Every time i try and open Autocad 2013 when checking the licence it comes up with an error ( Autodesk component has stopped working).

For some unknown reason EVERY time i download inventor 2012 pro the installation fails due to a corrupt file. So i thought (In desperation) i would downlaod the 2013 version and see if it would install. Lucky enough it all installed correctly. So i continue with my work on the 2013 edition, and when i go to save it it tells me, that i will not be able to use this file on previous versions. (Which i need to do). Is there by any chance a way to save files, that are compatible with older versins (Like in Word) ?
View 3 Replies View RelatedHave been using ACA 2013 all last week (normally do most of my work with Revit) and this time its been used intensively since install. I noticed that Autdesk 360 was doing allot of syncing. Drawings are open all of the time so the syncing activity is continuous.Then I found that over the last week broadband useage generally is clocking up to 11Gb per day (I get 60 per month), other browsers were slow and I think I have traced the problem to Autodesk 360 - it stoppped as soon as I disconnected from the cloud. It seems there is a huge amount of up and down stream data - turn 360 back on and the router lights start flashing furoiously. The cloud storage is less than 1Gb.

Is it possible to set up a project in inventor that when you save it locally it will also c to the 360 cloud location?Or must you set up a project with save paths directly to local 360 partition? Then syncing is done automatically from there?

I can only save it as AutoCAD LT 2004, is there a way for me to add AutoCAD LT 2008 as an option? If not is there a compatibility pack for him that he can download. There was a slight issue in the transfer. Im not doing anything that uses the mechanical features, just normal autocad features. The option for my computer is better if it is possible.

I am a new to AutoCAD, have never used to program before and would like to switching the "preferences" (which I can't find) to a better browser like Google Chrome.
Suggestion for Autodesk: Please dump IE in favor or propper browsers. IE has never and will never work properly.

I need to change the layer that my "Produced by an Autodesk Educational Product" border is being put to. I've never had to assign it to my text layer in the past; it has always just gone there. Now it is showing up on my furniture layer and I don't know where that setting is to move it.
View 9 Replies View Relatedi install autodesk remote to try it out from home. when i went to my office to the actual work station i rebooted my machine and now im getting a popup box that says my menu file is write protected. i uninstalled the file, and rebooted my machine and im still getting this warning that my menu is write protected,. no other work station is getting this error, the menu file is a shared file running off a network and no other versions exists on my hard drive.

I have a 125 page set and I just got into modify a sheet and the surface and profiles are gone. I force a sync using "synchronizereferences" and voila everything looks as it should. I purge and audit, save and close. I reopen it and once again the surface and profiles are gone.

Working in Autocad 2011, PC version.My drawing has blocks that contain (1) visibible and editable attribute. Also contain (4) invisible and constant attributes. I need to update text information in the (4) invisible attributes. Using BATTMAN seemed the easiest way to do this, but when "Sync" ing the changes, the rotation angle/placement of the Visible attribute changes globally in the drawing.
(Many of the Visible attributes location were adjusted to prevent overlapping with other drawing lines.
How can I update text values of invisible attributes without rotating/adjusting the placement of my visible one?I've tried -attedit & attredef - neither of them did what I needed.
I have try everything I can think of but Smoke 2013 won't export any clip and when i was able to export 1 it wouldn't play. Iwas able to export on Smoke 2012 demo with no problems.

A few days ago I noticed that my syncing isnt working properly and it is making what is supposed to be a quick workflow take forever. I import with a preset, then change contrast, blacks and such then sync all of the images with that. (this is the exact same process I have always used and I havent had any issues before) Only a few images actually sync, then I have to keep changing the settings to get back to what I originally synced to....I thought that I must have accidentally changed one of the settings or something, but when I tried it on my other computer, the exact same thing happened...

I try to do so by creating an axis transition and match the contents.
It just matched the whole clip with wrong in and out point.Then I try to swap something with the transition.It said two targets of the same type is required.
Does the Swap Effects work for transitions?
It is pretty simple and smooth in Smoke 2012.
