Oct 7, 2012When opening the navigation bar, the error message: unhandled exception error C0000005 (Access Violation Reading 0x0144) at address 5E03F5BFh or 5DFAF5BFh. What does this mean? The program (AutoCAD 2012 student version German 64 Bit) crashes as well when creating a new file and open the existing files in the registry file Karter. I have a Toshiba Satellite C660-29V with "IntelCore i3" processor and Windows 7- 64 Bit. Graphics Controller: Intel (R) HD Graphics Core (i3). Driver: Driver Version: 8.15.10.2189 Driver Date: 28.07.2010
How can I fix it so that AutoCAD 2012 running properly?

"FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x0000 Exception at 5c88cd29h"
I am using AutoCAD 2010. I am able to open the file in other computers in the office, even in another AutoCAD 2010, but it consistently gives me this error on my machine. I've tried purging the file and recovering it, but nothing seems to work.

Apr 19, 2012I am not being able to open a .cdr file in Draw. Its about 1.16 gb, I know its big but I didnt realise it has become so big, it has 18 pages now. It was working fine till yesterday. but now when i am trying to open it a pop up comes showing error reading file. I am using x4 in a 32 bit windows 7 with 4 gb ram.I have tried opening in laptop with 64bit windows 7 4 gb ram, it opened till 80% adn then a different error came which said - invalid object. I need to retrieve the artwork, i have worked on it for more than 3 weeks. The back up file also shows the same.

Jul 26, 2013I had my Mac crash on me a few days ago and since then I've been only able to work on my current project for ten minutes at a time before I get the above dialogue come up.
It's not just this file that suffers from this and there doesn't appear to be a pattern to which file is affected. The files that are mentioned in the dialogue are outputs from both FCP and from AE itself, they are always Quicktimes and they are compressed with the Animation codec, although I've used a number of other codecs and it doesn't seem to make any difference. If I quit and restart AE, I can continue working for a while on a composition with the same file that caused the dialogue to appear, until it happens again, often with a different file mentioned in the dialogue.
We have re-installed the CC suite after an uninstall and clean-up, but to no avail.
Do we need to reinstall the OS? Could it be a quicktime thing?

Jun 20, 2011i was working on an animation and that was a great animation I worked on that 2 months and i was working on that and when i wanted to save the scene the monitor gone black and i restart my pc.and when i opened the maya and tried to open the scene it said error reading file.

May 16, 2012Working in LR 3.6, Mac OS10.6.8, 8GB RAM, accessing from an external USB 2TB harddrive, and when opening an image I get the error:
"Lightroom encountered an error when reading a catalogue file and needs to quit.
"Lightroom will attempt to diagnose the problem the next time it launches."
I've run "Optimize Catalogue" and that didn't relieve the problem. Also have deleted preference files and still no joy. I also have upgrade to LR4 in hopes that it will fix the problem and it didn't. So I've removed LR4 for the time being until I can figure this out in LR3.

AutoCAD Inventor :: Error In Reading RSe Stream
May 26, 2011I am currently experiencing this error when basically putting an Inventor 2012 file (part or assembly) on a flash drive and then loading the file(s) onto a different computer with Inventor 2011 installed. Once in Inventor 2011 and trying to open the necessary file(s) I receive this error. Is there some difference between the 2011 and 2012 files that is causing this to happen? Or the face that I am using the student version of both?

Sep 24, 2008My computer went down two weeks ago, bad enough that I had to get a new hard drive and start over. When I went to install Inventor, I kept getting Errors 1335, 1334, then error 1406 during installation. I seemed to have gotten beyond those, but when I went to open certain assemblies I started getting "Error in reading RSe Stream (4 not equal 2)" and "Error in reading meta types in RSe Segment AmDcSegment in..." and them it shows a certain file it doesn't like, sometimes repeating for multiple files. I clicked on the communication icon in the lower right of my Inventor screen and it said a maintenance update was available. I installed SP1 and tried again. Same problem. I clicked on the icon again, and it told me SP2 was available. I installed it and tried again. Same problem. I clicked on the icon again, and it told me SP3 was available. I installed it and tried again. Same problem. I clicked on the icon again, and it told me SP4 was available. I installed it and tried again. Now I can't open Inventor at all. Inventor crashes just on trying to open up. I've been running Inventor 11 since it came out with no issues whatesoever. Now I'm two weeks behind with no end in sight.

The part appears in my tree in the frame assembly and it not showing up in my model, I can't delete it to brake the link.

something on the internet said that this may be due to saving in a newer version on inventor, but i am using the latest version, and have been for the past few months. it is especially confusing as on of my drawings is only affected on one page, not the entire drawing. i have also had bad assemblies, but when the bad assembly is a sub assembly inside a bigger assembly its all fine!

Nov 3, 2013so i've been getting this pop up window everytime i try to open autocad today. yesterday night i was using it fine.now whenever i try to open the program, it says "fatal error unhandled access violation reading b14c4b12h"..i sent an error report to autodesk and they suggested a patch. and after restarting my pc its still not working.
i have win8.1 with autocad2014.it pisses me off koz i have school assignments to do and it's not working

Oct 19, 2011my user has AutoCAD Inventor 2010 and she wants to open a file created using AutoCAD 2007 but always failed with the error message that system running on low memory then Autocad will close. The file can be open without problem using AutoCAD 2007. I'd tried using a computer with Xeon Processor and 4 GB RAM but still facing the same problem so I guessed it's not the hardware problem. Is it a bug and how to solve it?

Feb 6, 2012I cannot seem to open .dwg files from an email using AutoCAD LT 2010
I get an error saying c:users"username" empoutlookj0814-052.dwg is currently in use or is read only.
Would you like to open the file ready-only?
I can save the file then open it. But the user wants to open the attachment straight from the email.
I've tried changing the attributes on the folder from read only but this doesn't work, tried another profile, again this doesn't work.
It does seem to only effect .dwg files when opening with AutoCAD LT 2010. If someone sends an xls, .doc, .pdf attachment they all open OK, I'm sure this is an AutoCAD LT 2010 issue. I have downloaded and installed both hotfixes / patches from the autodesk website and reinstalled the software but this hasn't worked either.

Sep 3, 2013Having a problem with AutoCAD Civil 3D 2012 which keeps crashing with a fatal error on a Win7 Pro (64) machine. Was able to get the user to make a screenshot on the most recent occasion, and the error was as follows:
FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x0014 Exception at f5a69bb9h.
Having looked through your forums I see that this may be related to the video card, which is a Nvida Quadro 5000. I've already updated the driver to the Quadro Performance Driver, v320.78, but the problem continues.
Is there a different partner certified driver that I should be using (can't seem to find any for Civil 3D) , or is the issue related to something else?

Jun 13, 2013I have a brand new workstation and only on certain files it will say FATAL ERROR: Cannot write to undo file (probably disk full) when ever I save. I have tried cleaning out the TEMP file, turning off the Undo function, auditing the file and its xrefs, and recovering the file. It was a file that was on the server, but I have pulled it to my local machine and I have also increased the amount of virtural memory avaiable.

Nov 8, 2012We are using a file created by another company and making additions to it for Interiors. While working in this file we have added some new layers and have begun to hatch new walls. While hatching some of these wall my boss received a message saying that the file had errors. He saved and closed the file at that point. When he re-opened the file a number of lines were missing from the file.
They appear to be completely random - i.e. parts of chairs are missing but not the whole chair, parts of walls but not whole walls. The things missing were not all on the same layer and were not necessarily items that had been hatched.
Note - we are running 2012 and the files were created in 2007

Jun 5, 2012Even though I run the Dwgconvert function in DwgTrueview 2012 I still can not open the converted file in AutoCAD Mechanical 2012 SP 2. Fatal error with some hex memory addresses displayed. DwgTrueview opens and displays the dwg. just fine. AutoCAD R14 & 2000 open the file with no problem as well.

Dec 30, 2013I'm recieving this error when I go to paper space and attempt to set my profile view. I am working for a consultant using a required template from the city and when I open just the main template I recieved a message about 10 errors, do I want to recover, so I do and it finds no errors but I continually get the message. I'm thinking that fatal error message has something to do with the 10 errors. what those fatal error codes are in the subject line?
