AutoCAD Civil 3D :: FATAL ERROR - Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x05c0 At 6fbbabcah
Dec 30, 2013
I'm recieving this error when I go to paper space and attempt to set my profile view. I am working for a consultant using a required template from the city and when I open just the main template I recieved a message about 10 errors, do I want to recover, so I do and it finds no errors but I continually get the message. I'm thinking that fatal error message has something to do with the 10 errors. what those fatal error codes are in the subject line?
Having a problem with AutoCAD Civil 3D 2012 which keeps crashing with a fatal error on a Win7 Pro (64) machine. Was able to get the user to make a screenshot on the most recent occasion, and the error was as follows:
FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x0014 Exception at f5a69bb9h.
Having looked through your forums I see that this may be related to the video card, which is a Nvida Quadro 5000. I've already updated the driver to the Quadro Performance Driver, v320.78, but the problem continues.
Is there a different partner certified driver that I should be using (can't seem to find any for Civil 3D) , or is the issue related to something else?
I am getting a fatal error message "Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x0038 Exception at e9a85402h". I was working on a drawing Friday afternnon and the error popped up and crashed Civil 3d. I could open Civil 3d, but when I tried to open the drawing in question, the error would occur and crash Civil 3d. I started a new drawing and inserted the old drawing as a block. That had been working all morning, but all of a sudden the same error started to occur again. What is the error?
so i've been getting this pop up window everytime i try to open autocad today. yesterday night i was using it fine.now whenever i try to open the program, it says "fatal error unhandled access violation reading b14c4b12h"..i sent an error report to autodesk and they suggested a patch. and after restarting my pc its still not working.
i have win8.1 with autocad2014.it pisses me off koz i have school assignments to do and it's not working
There are specific files in which will cause this fatal error to come up:
"FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0x0000 Exception at 5c88cd29h"
I am using AutoCAD 2010. I am able to open the file in other computers in the office, even in another AutoCAD 2010, but it consistently gives me this error on my machine. I've tried purging the file and recovering it, but nothing seems to work.
I recently installed AutoCAD 2013 onto my computer which has windows 7 64 bit operating system. After completing installation, I tried to open AutoCAD and immediately I recieved this error, "Fatal error: Unhandled Access violation Reading 0xffffffff Exception at 70cbe8e1h.
I checked almost everywhere but there is no error i get .. Fatal Error : Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0xffffffff Expection at faad0004h .. I removed all the files and installed again but did not work ..
Running Civil CD 2012 on Windows 7. All service packs are up to date. After creating plan over profile sheets, I click to open a Layout tab to view a sheet, and get this error.
Fatal Error: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0xffffffff Exception e6d7a0adh. This error only occurs while I am using dimension commands. This is happening on a daily basis, no resolution from AutoCad. Error reports sent each time it happens. This particular failure never happened with 2012.
I'm running AutoCad LT 2012, this message appears right after the startup loading page and its always different with the exception of 3544 at the end of every code. I've tried a repair and a reinstall but this keeps popping up.
I have just installed Autocad LT 2013 (licence bought yesterday) on a new Lenovo E330 laptop and the first time I'm trying to run Autocad I'm getting the following error: "fatal error: unhandled Access violation writing 0x0000 exception at 0h".

1. regediting the DWORD Low to all 0000000, but it goes back to whetever value it was (i have tried with changing value and restarting, not restarting... etc. numerous combinations) and the error is still there
2. On one ocasion an autodesk employees on that thread informed the user that the generated error report was pointing towards a usb display adapter, and as I was using an external replicator (USB) I decided to try with the laptop running by itself on it's own graphics, that didn't change the error message. Next step update the HD4000 driver to the latest from intel, but still the same fatal error.
On top of the above i have also completly unistalled Autocad and all related products, performed new installation with same fatal error again after the installation. I have tried different comatibility modes when running the software and i have tried running as administrator (although I am logged as administrator anyway)
When opening the navigation bar, the error message: unhandled exception error C0000005 (Access Violation Reading 0x0144) at address 5E03F5BFh or 5DFAF5BFh. What does this mean? The program (AutoCAD 2012 student version German 64 Bit) crashes as well when creating a new file and open the existing files in the registry file Karter. I have a Toshiba Satellite C660-29V with "IntelCore i3" processor and Windows 7- 64 Bit. Graphics Controller: Intel (R) HD Graphics Core (i3). Driver: Driver Version: 8.15.10.2189 Driver Date: 28.07.2010
How can I fix it so that AutoCAD 2012 running properly?
We're running Autodesk Product Design Suite Premium 2013 on computers specficially designed by chaps so they meet the required spec (Windows 7).For two months we have been running this product without any problem however over the weekend we moved offices and the computers have been "poked about" by the IT support team as they moved servers / changed admin rights / drank coffee. This problem however is only affecting the one computer - the other is running fine so I assume they've not broken anything.
It ran on Tuesday til Thursday without any problems however this morning AutoCAD is having an abortion hissy fit (fifth crash in two hours) and I am getting:
"Fatal Error: unhandled access violation 0xffffffff exception at e47fde0ah" crashing the system while moving lines on a very simple AutoCAD 2D drawing (500kb). This
I've turned Aero Theme off and am running no other computer programmes (CPU sits at 13% when it crashes and doesn't spike).
Occurs when I am trying to raise/lower a group of feature lines (break lines) within my grading plan. As soon as I enter the value to raise/lower and hit enter the error comes up and Civil closes. Using Civil 3D 2013 and it is up-to-date (all patches, etc. installed). Know it is probably a windows registry error related issue, but I do not want to waste my afternoon uninstalling and re-installing Civil to take care of the issue. Windows 7 64-bit operating system.
Installed Autocad 2013 a while back worked smoothly until yesterday since when it does not open cannot create new files and at the same time cannot open any existing ones
I have a Lenovo Z570 i5 2nd generation processor, 8gb ram , 500gb hd, 2gb nvidia geforce with cuda integrated graphic card, genuine windows 7 home premium 64 bit
i have tried repairing the installation from control panel, and re-installing it again but to no use..Looked it up on the internet and downloaded the service pack and installed it but to no use again !!
I Recently installed AutoCAD 2010. When i Tried to draw a line or circle, etc. It just gets stops responding for some time and displays the following error "FATAL ERROR: Unhandled Access Violation Reading 0xf02e682ah Exception at f02e682ah".
I have this Acad plugin (C#), where I simply create a Ribbon, Button on it that executes a Command. Windows 7, AutoCAD 2013 all running x64. Used the ObjectARX x64 Libraries for my references. In my environment, everything works just fine, on my clients workstations... it shows 'Unhandled access violation reading 0x0000 exception'
Since client installed AutoCAD 2012 and then 2013, I tried a Repair, to no result. Have verified all references, put all ObjectARX references, just to make sure, put debug lines in the code. It crashes at first line:
I am getting this message when I try to open a drawing by 'file, open' or any 'mapping or searching' way other than opening a drawing listed in history.....there is nothing listed when I 'search' ...I can't see my c drive, d drive, my documents, etc just all blank and then i get the fatal error which crashes acad lt.
