After Effects :: File - Script Menu Is Missing In CS6
Jul 5, 2013
after reinstalling my OSX ML from a time machine I had some several crashing problems in Adobe suite, so I reinstalled them all, My problem is that my Script menu is gone in After Effects...
I'm running Illustrator CS6 (version 16.0.3) 64-bit on Windows 7 64-bit as part of my Design Standard CS6. I'm trying to package a file but when I go to the File menu, there is no package option. Why is it not there? And how do I get the Package feature?
AE crashed during the rendering process, a window came out and asked if I would save the file, I did but unfortunately I did not turn it into a new project. After all, AE shutted down.
Then there I was trying to open my project which was saved, although it turns out to be an error which said "missing data in file"
I tried to google it and I looked into like 20 forum pages, I tried putting the project on a new disk and importing instead of opening and stuff.Well I at least learned I should backup the project next time. Â But still wondering if there's a way to save my project? Â Btw, what does it mean by pressing capslock when importing the project?
Yesterday AE CS4 crashed and told me to save the project. Unfortunately i overwrote my only existing file. Now i can't open it any more, i always get the error message displayed above. Anyway, im surprised by the fact that the file still has the same size as before, so there has to be the same data in the file, hasn't it? Â I also tried the capslock method and the importing method, non of them worked. At the capslock method AE only imported one audio file, but not a single composition. How to restore it?
I recently loaded AutoCAD Architecture 2008 and the menu tabs for File, Edit, Window etc were all missing. They are replaced with a tab that says M-Color 9.5. When i load the program with older files (from this morning) the menu tabs are there but then they disappear. How do i get them back?
Also in addition to that my toolbars are gone, but i can recover those when i have my tool bars.
all the twirly triangle dropdown menu things (what's the official term?) underneath the contents menu of layers. Especially now that I'm working with Convert to Shape Layer functionality I'm wondering what an efficient/shortcut based way to work with these inner menus is. For instance when converting Text to Shape layers - it seems like I'm spending most of my time dealing with twirly triangle management  I don't even know how to search for them: obviously searching for anything "collapse" takes one to a bunch of collapse transformations stuff.
I am working on a plugin for adobe illustrator CS6 by using adobe CS6 SDK. By using this plugin I need to add a Me nu Item In File Menu of Adobe Illustrator.
I have used the following code for this: ______________________________________________________________________ ________ SPBasicSuite *mBasic = message->d.basic; Â Â Â AIMenuSuite *sAIMenu; Â Â Â mBasic->AcquireSuite(kAIMenuSuite,kAIMenuVersion, (const void**)&sAIMenu); Â Â Â SPPluginRef plugin;
I downloaded the Trial version and the 3D menu worked perfectly but when I downloaded the full version, the 3D menu is gone. Â Adobe Photoshop Version: 13.0 (13.0 20120315.r.428 2012/03/15:21:00:00) x32 Operating System: Windows 7 32-bit Version: 6.1 System architecture: Intel CPU Family:6, Model:7, Stepping:10 with MMX, SSE Integer, SSE FP, SSE2, SSE3, SSE4.1 Physical processor count: 2 Processor speed: 2261 MHz Built-in memory: 2975 MB Free memory: 1044 MB Memory available to Photoshop: 1626 MB Memory used by Photoshop: 60 %
I think i remember spotting something of the like somewhere around the forums, where there is another sub menu, like 'Artistic' or 'Blurs'. One that is called 'Favourites' and you can choose your favourite plugins to put into it in the Effects folder in program files?
(Maybe in PDN 4 a way of doing this in the software, maybe right click on the effect to Uninstall, Add To Favourites etc)
i have a problem because i want to render my videos in after effects in H. 264. I cant choose this option, i have tried to click on QuickTime movie and then go to format options, and then use H. 264, but if i do that i get the error ( 44 :: 81 ).
1. How can i choose H. 264 in the format menu?
2. Is it a problem if I just render even with getting that error? Â They may get caused because i use AAE CS4, I can't get CS5.5 and CS6 because of 32-Bit system.
3D option is not on my menu bar , and none of the tool setting show 3D options either. All Screen shots I have seen of Photoshop CS6 have this and I don't.
I have Photoshop CS4 installed on my laptop and Photoshop CS4 Extended installed on my desktop (part of Production Suite). I'm experiencing a problem on BOTH systems where the main menu is missing a row of pixels (see image below). Both systems are running Windows XP Pro SP3. I have Open GL disabled on both systems. The weird thing is the missing row of pixels comes and goes while I'm using the application. Has anyone else noticed anything similar?
My menu bar has almost vanished. All I can see is "File, Window and Help" all the others have disappeared. I looked up what to do and CAD help told me to go to Window and then click on Pulldowns but this isn't an option that I can see when I click on Window.
For some reason, every panel is now missing it's associated menu bar. I've tried doing research for a command to restore them using a MEL command, but to no avail. I did nothing to remove them in the first place.
In illustrator there's an opton to create arrows i saw on internet by going to Effects > Stylize > Add Arrowheads. URL....Is there any change done in cs6 version or something?
Today i've noticed that when i copy/paste a timeline from Premiere CC to AE CS6 unfortunately nothing happens. So i can't dynamic link or copy/paste footage in AE CS6. I can only use AE CC. Usually i make my edit in Premiere and then i use the same timeline in AE to do postproduction. If i uninstall AE CC can i be able to copy/paste my timeline in AE CS6 from Premiere CC?
I can't install Premiere CS6 because i use an MXO2 card.I can run AE,Photoshop and Encore CS6 with CC apps on the same machine, but not Premiere CC and Premiere CS6 at the same time.
I have created keyframes from audio file and used them to generate some effect, all works fine, it is amazing how easy it is However, I would like to generate flash (?) so that these effects would be dynamic to different audio files after export.
What I want is basically to create effects that can be used in life event to the streaming music.
After installing photoshop CS6 from CD onto Windows 7x64; my context menu > New > bitmap is no longer available. registry settings are intact and I've used Bridge ro reassociate .bmp with mspaint but the option still does not appear. The installation of photoshop is the only change to the computer in several months.  I can workaround by creating new txt files and changing the extension but this adds a step to a (non photoshop related) workflow that's been in place and worked well for years.
In PSP X2, the menu options went suddenly missing.
I can see the Menu Bar (File, View, Effects, etc.). However, when I click on, say, File, I can see the drop-down options, but none of the options expand into their sub-menus. All I see is a grey box where the options should be.
I just now was able to reinstall PSP X2 after many months of problems due to the usual "illegally modified" message. It's very frustrating to say the least.
I have just upgraded to CS4 and am attempting to get acquainted with the new workspace options. Is there a way to maximize a floating window in Standard Screen Mode without losing the menu and title bars? I figured out how to drag images to CS4 and have them open as floating windows instead of tabs. However, when I maximize one of the images/floating windows, the menu and title bars are left out and are not visible. I would like to set the menu and title bars so that all images appear beneath them whether they or maximized or minimized.
I received a Revit file from a client. What may have been purged from the file. When I try to cut a section, I am presented with the choice of a Building Section or a Detail Section. The Wall Section is not available.
How do I get access to the wall sections? These are available as families which could be reinstalled.
About 1 in 3 times I start up Maya 2012, some of the shelves are either missing or are empty. For example, sometimes the "Polygons" shelf is completely missing, or else it is there but its contents are empty. If I close Maya and restart it, then they shelves will load up fine. Is there any fix to this?
I delete my preferences and start with new ones. This is a very fresh install, and I also had this problem with a previous install of 2012. And it does load up correctly sometimes so the preferences should be correct...right?
I have a installation of Revit 2012 (64bit win7) that some times stops drawing dialogs and Revit menu (the big R-button) in front (or something). If I press open, the dialog only pops up if I press somewhere in the revit window, and windows plays that DING-sound (like when you do something you shouldn't do). It feels like a menu draw issue.. The R-button just never displays a menu when I press it. A restart of Revit fixes the problem, but its annoying and we all know Revit doesn't start very quick...
Trying to setup my machine at home to match my machine at work. To clear things up, I'm running ACA 2009 on both machines, both are running XP Professional, although I'm running XP Professional at home through VMWare Fusion 4 on my MacBook Pro and I really doubt that could cause these issues since a coworker is having these issues at work on a PC.
First of all when I startup ACA 2009 almost everything is missing! When I go to profiles and load the imperial profile I get the wonderful ribbon, which I immediately use RIBBONCLOSE to turn off but then I don't have any file menus. I have the large A in the upper left corner but it only has File, Edit, and Exit I believe. So I used MENULOAD to get the ACAD.cui back up and then reinserted the install CD to add EXPRESSTOOLS back (...why aren't this included to start....that's for another time).
So now I have a something pretty close to my work machine after moving some properties, xref, and tool palettes around. I don't really use any buttons so it is a pretty minimalist desktop. Now down to the real question...
Where did the Project Browser and Style Managers disappear to? I know, I know, ending in a preposition...I can't think anymore today and Autodesk you are responsible. Is it just me or does Autodesk seem to be hiding more and more from us with each release every year? I can type ProjectBrowser into the command line and it will appear but it isn't under the File menu and more and I honestly couldn't find the Style Manager command prompt so I can't tell you if that works.
How do I get these two items to reappear, neither of the two buttons existing either in the standard ACAD.cui configuration next to Tool Palette, etc
Also, why don't the profiles work anymore? If I save it under profiles and reload it the next time everything is messed up nothing happens, and yes the shortcut I use to start ACA references that profile.
