I have 3DS Max 2009 and I am trying to type text in splines with accents (e.g. Àà, Ââ, Ææ, Éé, Èè, Êê, Ëë, Ùù, Ûû, Üü) but max converts them to regular letters (Aa, Ee, Uu). It easily understands russian letters, but not these ones.
View 2 RepliesI'm using Illustrator CS6 on a Mountain Lion Mac. Got a weird problem with one of my fonts. I'm used to type accented characters like é by typing option-e plus e. Which works so far. On one of my fonts however, EuroComic, when I want to type the é character and start with option-e, it already changes the font to Myriad Pro. Typing the e after that makes it é, but in Myriad Pro, not EuroComic. It has always worked before when I was still using Snow Leopard. And it's not a font problem I think, cause in Indesign that same way of using option-e plus e works. The é is at the correct spot in EuroComic cause when I select all text and change it to EuroComic (after having typed that é), not only does all text turn into EuroComic again, but also that now Myriad Pro é turns back to EuroComic é. What could it be that could make illustrator turn the font to Myriad Pro after typing option-e on that parcitular font? With other fonts like Arial etc.

When contacting support, they say the SN is invalid and refer me here. I registered the SN three years ago, and it is no longer there. I have CS3 Dreamweaver, and InDesign which the registration is no loger in the myProducts file either. I haven't tested, but am assuming I will have a similar problem with them as well.

I've downloaded a trial of PPro CS5.5 ( I purchased it as well but will have to wait for the disc to arrive) and now the file is imported but it shows up as an audio with no video. The video does play just fine in Windows Media Player. The following is the GSpot report on the file:

My new CS5 HDRPRO & Photomerge from Tools & Atuomate would not accet files and was giving me dialog boxes that did relate to the action or would not load the files.
After level one of trouble shooting then more work with a Sr.?Tech last night we isolated that the folders and method of transferring my images from my Nikon D7000 may be causing the HRO & Photomerge function from not accepting
image files in some Folders.
A. Could be the port in my MacBook Pro has failed & is corruting the files.
B. Could be that when I take the origional image files out of the folder created by the Nikon Photoshop does not like that.
C. Photoshop does not like image files after they have been moved from one folder to another.
My original Photoshop full version was v. 5. Since then, I've bought upgrade discs through CS3. Windows 7 won't accept my original version because it's too old, I guess, so I can't load any of the upgrades, either. How can I get around this so I can use Photoshop on my Windows 7 machine. I can't keep my XP laptop forever.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am running LT 2013. I have the Group Ribbon turned on and use it constantly. Until recently, whenever I would select the "Ungroup" button on the ribbon, a box would appear below the ribbon with a couple of button choices, "Accept" or something else.
I was looking at the shortcut list a couple of weeks ago, and went to turn off the command line (ctrl+9), and apparently entered the wrong command. In trying to undo my error, I probably entered some other commands, of which I have no idea what was entered. As a result, My "Ungroup" "Accept" button no longer shows up.
I know I just turned off a setting. But, I have been through the "Shortcut Key" list and I can't find it. I've been through the listings with AutoCAD LT 2013, and I have looked through the forums to no avail. And turthfully,, there are other text readouts that I used to get when doing a command that seem to be missing too. However, for now, I'd like getting the "Ungroup" "Accept" button turnd back on. I'll worry about the other ones later.
I am trying to print in landscape on a 5x7. In Image I change print size to 5x7 with no problem. In Page Setup I change from A4 to 5x7, select landscape and click OK. I double check and its restored all settings back to A4. If I print I get half my image in portrait.
The page setup does not appear to accept my changes, why?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've seen this question asked here and elsewhere, but without any resolution, and can't find any mention in the documentation.....I customized Illustrator's color settings thusly:But when I save the profile and try to load it in Photoshop, it throws this error:
"The color settings file contains settings that are not supported by this version of Photoshop running on this system. These unsupported settings will be reset to their default values."
Then if I close the dialog box, re-open it, and manually choose the same settings, it seems to accept it. Here is what Photoshop currently shows:

The rule works but the file will always accept saving regardless if there has been changes or not. I want the rule to only accept save IF there has been changes on SM_Length (=<FLAT PATTERN LENGTH> cm) and SM_Width (=<FLAT PATTERN WIDTH> cm) or Thickness.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy issue is with the Publish dialogue. I am publishing several sheets to PDF. I do not want layers to be available in the PDF. I shoud be able to control whether or not layers export with the PDF in the "Publish dialogue box > Publish Options > General DWF/PDF options > Layer Information" (then there are two options, either to include or not include layer information). However, when I change it to "don't include" and close out of that box, the main Publish dialogue still shows the layer option as included and the layers are in the PDF after I publish it. why the layers still show up?

I am currently working on a school group project that requires me to submit all inventor files as "LASTNAME_FIRSTNAME_PART,ASSY,DRAWING,etc..NAME". My original parts were all done in mm instead of cm, so for our project, I opened all new files and derived the same parts at a different scale to fix this scale issue between the members. For the new derived parts I temporarily allowed the file name to remain as part1, part2, part3.... and continued with the assembly. Now that my assembly is complete and I would like to change my part file names to the required format, my assembly will not show the parts and (?) symbol is shown by all parts with updated file names. I also changed the original file names and now the new derived parts, when opened, have the same (?) which I assume is related to the fact that the derived parts are dependent on the original file. Is there a way to update this information? We are using INVENTOR 2013.

1. Facing problem of frequent CorelDraw X6 crash while working and seemingly most of the times it even don't sent any error messages to Corel support.
2. Transformations docker doesn't accept enter for applying changes, it only responds when we hit apply. It is good to move through options by using TAB, but it should accept ENTER as “APPLY” as we make desired change in any parameter. Mostly I prefer dockers to property bar.
3. Open and Import dialogue boxes don’t get cancelled as we hit ESC key.
4. Using pick tool double click a group of objects including paragraph text and get desired rotation is still a havoc despite we are using x6 (64-bit). It kills much of our time. See screen shot below:
5. I am also facing problem in EPS editable import as shown in the screen shot below "An error occurred while processing PIEE.eps. The file cannot be opened."
The file is created in x6 and has 2 pages for two print jobs. Both pages has flatten background text and fountain lenses to RGB bitmap. All texts converted to curves. Page 1 exported to EPS and then imported as EPS editable successfully. Page 2 exported to EPS and then imported as EPS editable - shown above error. I have also tried importing this page to a fresh file and then created fresh EPS but got the same erroneous result.
As far as my experience with PDF is not good, because sometimes PDF also produces undesired result on RIP specially as RGB images, bar codes, drop shadows etc. I believe that EPS files are far more reliable in prepress jobs.
