Can't find timeline. I used the expand to trackview button near time line and i dragged the curve editor out of the dock. I then closed the curve editor and now I am struggling to get my timeline to reappear. I tried timeSlider.setVisible true but that doesn't seem to work.

For example - I have a 30 minute sequence with 7 tracks of dialogue. Each clip of dialogue is labeled with a line number from a script. When a producer comes over and asks "Can you quickly go to line 416?"...I'd like to be able to quickly do that. Avid has a function where you can perform a find in the timeline for specific file names.
i can't find the mblur setting inside axis timeline fx. Is it there somewhere ? or does it have the mblur setting ?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI was editing an .mov file in Photoshop (I don't have sufficient OS for AfterEffects). All was going well, so saved the projects as a .psd file (which I'd learned from an online tutorial and which had never given me problems before) and took a break. When I tried to reopen it, the video won't play and there's a yellow exclamation mark next to the thumbnail in the layers palette. I tried opening a new file and adding the original .mov to the timeline, but got the message "Could not complete request because Dynamic Link Media Server not available."

Not sure what I touched but a red bar has appeared on the timeline, running from the start of the project to the point where I was editing. Now it will only play the project from the start to this point and I can't add a title after this.
How can I clear this red bar?
In CS6, I cannot find the option to extend the duration of my photoshop document. I am using Photoshop to make a short hand-drawn animated film. Currently, the document is 300 frames long, but I would like to extend that to 400 frames. (I'm working in timeline mode, not frame mode.)
I could easily change the duration of a document in CS5 by clicking on the little drop-down menu in the top right corner of the animation panel, then going to "Document Settings" where I could change the duration and the frame rate. When I click the drop-down in CS6, I find the frame rate option, but no duration.
The new timeline in photoshop cs6 is weird but I don't understand how I can use it for animating. I use photoshop for frame-by-frame animaiton (Not flash) and the new Timeline is confusing me. How do I use this new time line for frame-by-frame animation similar to the Animation Timeline in Cs5?

Everything is grayed out. I have read the Adobe tutorial but nothing really says how to place key frames into the timeline space. I watched a YouTube video but it started with there already being an image there and then they showed how to copy and change it so an animation could be achieved.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI use another NLE and VSP X6U. One thing that I would like is timeline markers. Why? I do quite a few videos where the transitions have to be on the beat of the music. I do this with timeline markers that are placed on the 'beat' of the music. I can then move the in and out points of a video or image and it will "snap" to the position of the marker.
Also, I can label these markers, so I can use them to "remind" me of what I want to do between them.
WHen i try to add MP4 file using videostudio pro x 3 in the timeline , i get this error below . THe file type is MPEG 4 media file.
When i convert it to WMV file , it works . videostudio can have a patch and fix this because it takes me so long to convert from MP4 to WMV . This file type is now Windows Media Movie.
I'm working on a short project on Corel Videostudio X4. I have been working on the timeline, but can't figure out how to move the timeline around. For example, is there a way I can take the whole project and push it forward 30 seconds so I can stick another clip in?

It is about 3 seconds long on the timeline, and cannot be extended, I tried to drag but it cannot be dragged further, you can only make it shorter. The timeline ( or whatever the thing is called where the time ruler thing is) only shows my original composition and i want to switch to the other so i can add the music file. View 1 Replies View RelatedI have successfully used the "merge clips" feature so I know that the system is capable of syncing audio + video tracks.
HOWEVER the "Syncronize" feature will not work for me in the timeline. For example I drop in one .R3d file and one audio file from an external recorder. I select them all and right click to bring up the menu and "Syncronize" is greyed out and not available.
I've watched several tutorials where people bring multiple clips into and sync them using this method.
I'm guessing that there is a setting or a default somewhere that is not allowing this "sync" to be applied
I have Premiere CC7.1 and am having problems playing back the audio after importing a synced sequence from Plural Eyes. The wierd thing is that everything plays back beautifully until I close Premiere. When I reopen the program, I see the audio on the timeline and it plays back in the source monitor but there's no audio in the program monitor.

Right now I am trying to animate layer masks which are attached to individual layer groups, but as you can see, the deeper layer nest goes, the harder it is to animate , because I can't read names of keyable property and I can't extend the property bar ,like After Effects,to read the full name of key able property in Photoshop. Is there any way to avoid this problem? I really need to animate layer masks.

And then render/export it as a video, and use it in an image sequence for INDD DPS (so when the image is activated in an iPad app, the arrow draws across the image on the screen).
