We have reduced the number of rendered frames to 50 but the problem persists.
I seem to be having problems when I lasso round a specific part of a photo taken with a white background and then try to add that part of the image to a plain #000000 black background.
I always seem to get a white outline around the image when I place it on the black background, even when its on ZERO feathered. I don't like using feathered as it adds a smudge round the outside of the image.
why my interior rendering scenes just show up black. I have opened up projects from previous releases that I was able to get interior scenes to render correctly and they render fine in 2013. I've imported the modified fixtures to the current projects file and they still don't do anything. The scene I'm talking about has a ceiling modeled on the underside of a floor. I've read this may be an issue, but my light fixtures light source is to be 1/4" above the plane of the ceiling. In my case, it's a 5/8" layer of drywall.

View 1 Replies View RelatedBefore in CS5 when you click an option, the text would turn white, now they stay black making them hard to see. It seems to be desktop appearance specific so if I change my desktop theme the background color would change making the black text easier to see (text stays black). This seems like a bug, because the highlited text color should turn to white not stay black. Which was how it was in CS5.
View 2 Replies View RelatedAny tutorials or could talk me through rendering with an HDRI for both lighting and as a visible background through windows? I would like the HDRI to reflect in my scene and be visible. Would I still use the sun as a source of light? I am having an issue with moving the hdri as it is not mapped in my environment correctly. If you look out the windows it appears as though my house is floating.
Im using Mental ray .
I have just purchased this upgrade software having used XARA Xtreme4.0 for many years. How can I change the black background screen with white writing to grey with black writing?
View 9 Replies View RelatedWhenever i add in a background image (clouds in this case), everything that is reflective becomes see through. Is there a setting that can make this go away? It does it with every, single background image that i've ever used. Recently, i've started to just not use them, but i really need to put a background with some of these for a Job Fair for our company. If you see below, the piping (i know it shouldn't be THAT reflective but that's what they want) becomes slightly see through as well as the hand rails and foot boards..
I've attached a second example as well...

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm attempting to render a series of images in the cloud and my plan is to take these images into Photoshop so that I can apply a background from an image I possess.
To do this I need the background to be a plain white background, export as a TIFF or PNG, then add an alpha channel in Photoshop. The problem is that whatever settings I apply in Revit, the cloud rendering always gives me the standard grey / blue horizon background. I have changed the render settings using the render setup, through the view properties, through the graphic display, still no joy....

how did they transformed a normal background into a pitch black background? Someone told me they used a photoshop so I browsed around but all I found was a tutorial on how to isolate a section of the photo and turn it into a black and white background which is not what I was after.
I am using a sky portal behind a section glass, a soon as I turn it on and render the background image is black.

But I want to know how to rid the black in the background and around the fire without erasing the shadows in the fire and making it look like I did so. I want it to look smooth if you know what I mean. Another way of putting what i want differently if you dont understand is I basically want all the black behind the fire and background pic transparent, without making the fire look crappy in the process.

So I was using Photoshop (CS5) when I was told that our power would have to be momentarily turned off due to work being done in our kitchen. Anyway, I saved my project and closed photoshop and then the power was turned off (I did not properly shut down Windows).
When I got back onto Photoshop I tried opening the project I was working on to find that all of the layers were gone and it only showing a black background canvas. When I click on the project once in the open window, it shows a thumbnail of the image as it should be and how it was saved, but when I open it it only shows a black background.
I do have another copy from not too far back but I have lost a few hours of work which I'd obviously prefer not to redo.
When I open a picture in photoshop, any picture, I see the picture and all around it is a background color. It has nothing to do with the picture or any work being done on the picture. This has to do with the color that comes up on the screen regardless of the picture. It was black and I hit something and it is now blue. I want this to go back to black.
I tryed clicking on the link below, selecting black for a background color and clicking and nothing changes.
The background colour of the Filter Gallery window (and any filter window) is black. I can see sliders and checkboxes, but I cannot see the related labels and text. This does not happen in the Adobe Illustrator Effects windows.
