Since i upgrade my RAM from 8GB to 16GB i get often this error:
MAXScript Garbage Collection Error:
An unknown error occurred while MAXScript was performing garbage collection. If you get this error multiple times, recommend restarting max.
This comes if i "reset" the scene or open a other scene.
We use Survey Data Collection Link to convert our file formats, in this case it is a GPS job exported from a TSC2 using Trimble Survey Controller Version 12.46. I exported the job from the data collector as a .csv file then use SDCL to convert the .csv into a .fbk file. I am getting this error saying the file is invalid or in use. We ran into this problem a couple months ago and it disappeared after a couple days, and now it has resurfaced.
Running Autocad Civil 3d 2012 with Service Pack 2, Windows 7 64-bit OS.
in doing a chroma key on lab mode playing with a and b values (I got all that) and at the end he added "if necessary add a garbage matte layer mask" I have no idea what he meant, tried to find out thru all the icons but nothing has that name ....
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am trying to clean up my block that i have made and there seems to be some lingering text styles?
I only am using the one? There doesn't appear to be any more hidden layers or entities in the drawing? Yet when i try to delete these text styles from the text styles manager, it won't let me? It keeps telling me it is in use?
Note: Purge doesn't work within in the block editor it seems, and if i open the .dwg and do not go into the block editor, purge finds nothing to purge?
This is on a Windows 7 work station
User reboots computer, logs into network, opens the printer properties on one of our HP plotters, and the print properties pages show just fine.
The user will open Inventor, and attempt to print a drawing, and the print settings page shows in all weird characters.
We have applied all service packs and hot fixes. How do we get this to show normal like it does on all the other programs?
I mistakenly created a collection when only one file was highlighted. I made another collection with all the other files I wanted in it, but I can't drag that one file from the filmstrip..

I was hoping fo a way to build a rule based on the collection set ... is this possible?
I also tried matching Any Searchable Text set to the collection set name, but that doesn't seem to work...wouldn't all photos in the collection set be associated with that string? Looks like no.

Is there a way to convert a collection to a smart collection?
I am using NextGEN to export images to WordPress. NextGEN created Publishing collections in Lightroom to match those in my WordPress blog. My problem is that they are not Smart Collections.
I am trying to create a new collection but I find that I do not have a "Set collection as target" (or whatever the correct phrase is, since I don't have it.) I have right clicked and examined all menu options.

I was trying to get a collection to appear at the top of the list of items in a collection set, but it seems to get stuffed below all the other collection sets regardless of the name given to the collection.
I'm running Photoshop Elements 5.0. Everything was working fine til this mornin. I've had the program for about a year now. When I tried to open it this morning I got this error message that popped up.
It says:
Unable to continue because of a hardware or system error. Sorry, but this error is unrecoverable.
I've tried repairing the program. That didn't work. Restarted my computer. That didn't work. Uninstalled the program and tried opening it again. That didn't work. I'm at a loss! I really need to get into my program b/c my work is there. I tried opening some of my files (they are located in my Pictures folder) and they pop up with the same message.
My NIK Collection (plug-ins) will not load on Photoshop CC.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI found a nice model on the web but i just started out so got a few questions. The standaard model exists of 1 editable mesh that i converted to editable poly.
in Editable Poly - Polygon: Material IDs, I had categorized the model in 3 diffrent groups, i want to use these 3 groups to texture the model, each group a diffrent texture.
the problem is that from the moment i assign the material to selection, I only have 2 groups left; wich is the one i just textured and the other 2 meshed in 1 group.
the problem with that is that i can only texture my model using 2 diffrent textures. How can i "save" those groups?
I can have one photo in multiple collections and edit them differently. Right now if I edit in one collection the photo will change in all the collections. For example I want a collection with just Black and White pictures, but I want to still have the same pictures in color in a different collection. This is in LR3.

I would like to make a slide show of this collection set, and I would like my slide show go in sequence with collection 1 through 5. Each collection has still and video images and I would like to put a text messages in the beginning of each collection segment.
I searched the web, look into few books that I have and I did not see anything dealing on how to make a slide show out of a collection set.
I can't see how you either move (to a different set) or delete a collection?

The first visible difference is, that the "panel" of the various filters is not displayed when I start PS, but it is in the 32 bit version.Even if I want to apply an Nik-Filter on an image nothing changes, but it does in 32 bit mode.

Since collections like for example the LayerTable have no Count property (as far as I can see, that is), I'm doing the following to get at the number of items:

I can't find the method that returns a point collection for a given 3dsoild. I have to think that a property exists that contains all the points for a solid (the ones shown when you select a 3dsolid).

What I'm doing is changing the style of the block attributes using objectdbx.
I can change all of the model and paperspace block attributes but I can't seem to be able to access the un-inserted blocks in the blocks table.
After running my app all of the "visible" blocks are changed but when I insert a block from the dwg the style has not changed.
I keep my photos on an external drive. The drive was named J. It then failed and when reinstalled it was named K. I was able to relike the photos to the new name K drive, however,
I am not able to see the photos that were previously in my collection sets. I see the blank images and the editing icons but no actual images, The photos are in the catalog. How can I relink them to my catalog?
In Lightroom 4, I would like to copy a catalog from machine 1 to machine 2, and while someone else is working on machine 1, I would like to create a collection on machine 2, and then just move that collection back onto machine 1's original catalog. The user on machine 1 is also making collections, so if I just copied the catalog back from machine 2 when I was done, it would destroy the new collections on machine 1, so I think I want to just move the collection I create on machine 2.
