View 14 RepliesI am very much a Noob at photoshop, this is officially the 2nd time I have used it. I have a small image, I want to rotate it 30 degrees counterclockwise. I also mant to put a small black border (10 pixels) around the outside of it. You can see the one I tried up in the banner on my developing site.

The lines left are OK but a bit fuzzy in places, although not broken. Is there a smoothing technique I can use on the lines?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am trying to include a video clip from an MPEG4 video which is 23.96fps into a video which I want to use at 25fps (PAL DVD).
No matter what I do the output is slightly jerky (in a pattern about every second) which I assume is caused by converting 23.96 fps to 25 fps.
Is there a way to do this with a smooth video output?
I have a photo in large size and high resolution. However after I apply the Picture-In-Picture effect in Video Studio ProX5, it became very blurry. Already check all the Attribute settings and there is nothing wrong with the setting.
View 11 Replies View RelatedI used to use MediaStudio Pro to create picture in picture especially where the picture starts small and grows to cover the entire background video clip.
I looked for and found a video filter which I thought would allow me to do the same. However after viewing the 'help' for the filter and trying just about everything I could think of I cannot achieve what I want to do if start with a video clip and then have another video clip appear (very small) in one area of the background video and then slowly grow larger to eventually cover the background video clip.
I can make the picture in picture appear and grow larger but it covers the entire background video clip with black effectively covering it no matter what size my picture in picture is. I looked for a chroma key to cover the black out but could not find it.
A tip I came across by accident, if you'd like to smooth the skin of a subject without loosing too much detail, Deblock (at it's default setting) seems to do a good job.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI often encounter the low motion frequency when playing back "Picture in Picture" scene (which I mean the pictures aren't moving smoothly whenever using that feature) after I render my video into various formats, such as WMV HD PAL. Is there any way to increase its smoothness?
Am using VS Pro X5, Service pack 1
I am a amateur editor and do the basic stuff with the editing like color fixing and cropping/cutting. Since the time, i switched to HD videos the video does not render and playback smoothly in preview mode.
However in other editing programs like Vegas it plays back like butter but i am not into Vegas and i dont like vegas. I use Videostudio only.
the video plays back like in 1FPS or like 2-3FPS i mean the videos one picture is shown then directly after 2-3 seconds. The audio is howver smooth.
I have a Duo Core 2ghz Intel Processer,
I'm wondering if it is normal for my clips to have jerky preview. I am editing 1080p MOV clips and I've made sure that Smart Proxy is enabled and that the files do exist. Smart Proxy settings are default to activate with any clip that is larger than 720X480. After I've dragged a clip onto the timeline I get jerky preview if I select "clip" and then click play. But if I select "project" it plays smoothly. Scrubbing is also smooth. My question is why are my clips so jerky? It seems that "clip" preview is automatically using the original video file and not the proxy. I'm on a slow computer, but that's not the issue because everything except the individual clips plays smoothly. And yes, the Smart Proxy icon is on my clips and it's had plenty of time to complete the proxy creation. I've even completely removed VS with Revo Uninstaller and reinstalled it. No change.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI am using VS Pro X4 with Windows 7 home premium, Processor Intel (R) Core (TM) i7 CPU Q820 @ 1.73GHz 1.73 GHz. 8 GB RAM. 64 bit op syst. NVIDIA GeForce GTS 360M. Also I am mostly using GoPro 2 Mpeg4 files (which I have updated so I can finally use it in VS) When I am edit mode and click play back to view what I have edited prior to rendering. It often plays ok until it goes from one clip to another then it starts to play jumpy or jerky video including the sound. Which makes it impossible to see how well your edit is. If I leave it for 1/2 hour or so and come back to it, it sometimes plays fine. But then add more clips to the vid or add in a transition or effect it will then play back jerky again.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI bought the new Olympus TG-1 camera, and want to edit movies that I shoot so I downloaded trial of latest Video Studio Pro X5 to try it out. But I'm not satisfied with the quality of the rendered file. The result is not smooth. For example, I shot a short movie clip out of the window of a slow moving train. When I play the original file everything is nice and smooth, but when I import the file to Video Studio and render it (without doing anything to it, no effects or anything) the result is a stuttering movie - kind of like some frames are missing, or maybe duplicated... (Sound is just as it should, no problem there.)
Source file is .MOV (quick time) 24bits 1920x1080, 29.970 frames/sec according to file properties in Video Studio. Using GSpot i get the following: codec avc1, name H.264, 19641 kbps, 29.971 frames/sec
I've tried every format under "create video file" in Video Studio but the result is the same every time no matter what I do, although the option "Same as first video clip" is not available (it's dimmed when using clip shot with this camera). My system is PAL and I know that 29.97 fps is not PAL standard, but I also tried rendering custom format where the result was a 720x576 clip with 29.971fps (but kpbs is only 1024) but still the same stuttering movie.
I just installed VideoStudio Pro x5. After creating a few clips, I go to play the project and the preview video image studders, and plays a clip here and there, but my music plays smooth.
I have all the hardware acceleration box's checked ( there's 3 of them ). I don't know what to do, I read this is the least demanding video editing program. I also meed the minimum system requirements?
I just had my gopro take 377 pictures over a few hours (30 seconds apart) and imported them all into the timeline. What I want to do is compress all these to a time frame somewhere around 1-1:30 or so just for a short clip of clouds moving across the sky. This is easy enough to do by selecting them all and bulk changing the duration to some fraction of a second. The problem is that it was quite breezy so the movement of the tree branches from one frame to another make it more "jerky" than I want when playing back.
Is there some way to smooth this out, I was thinking a real short fade transition between each frame, but that would take a month of Sundays and I don't know if I can get the transition short enough. I tried importing with default transition to cross-fade but the transition was way too long.
I am trying to use the FX picture-in-picture effect, but can't make it work. I see the inserted picture but not the background, the background is black!
I must say that the instructions are not very clear. It says: "Place the Picture-In-Picture effect on the clip that should be inserted in the background and place the background track behind it." ?
How do I place the background behind the clip afterwards? That's not possible.
I'm sure this is easy but mind is blank on this. I wish to fly a picture in sit for 2 second then fly out over my main track. I looked in PiP no luck

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have the new VS x4. My experience with both x3 and x4 have been good. They produce an excellent DVD. In most cases , I use both video and pictures . My problem is with my pictures that are portrait format. When I play them on the TV, they are not sharp as with landscape pictures. Some are some what distorted. My thought is, they have to be compressed for the Tv screen, but not sure.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI've made several dvds over the past 12 months or so and this has not occured but on my latest venture I am getting a nano-second of the video picture narrowing from wide screen during each transition. It then almost immediately goes back to wide screen, causing something like a sideways blink. I am mainly using crossfades with the occasional circle wipes, clocks and spins. This does not occur, however, when using crossfade on the still images, which I pan and zoom, and include at the end of the video.
I am using a JVC Everio Camcorder with a Medion Akoya E600 D (MD8328) PC with Windows Vista 32bit.
I have tried several methods of creating the video file: Same as Project Settings, Same as first Video Clip, MPeg Optimiser and even custom, all with Upper Field First and all with the same result.
Have VideoStudio X4 Ultimate.I have a major issue here and sure hope this is user error - otherwise it would be a major drawback for me.
How can I move a clip or a picture in a certain way.An example:I want it to move in from the left side small, while going to the middle get bigger, then rotate 180° and continue to move it in the upper right corner.
How to lock an picture (png, for example) to a moving object in Corel VideoStudio X5? maybe i might use some plugins? i know that in some video editing software this option exist and simply to use. is it real in videostudio x5?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have burnt a DVD from an .mpg file. The file itself play fine in VSX2PRO as well as computer media players.
The burnt DVD plays fine on the computer as well.
When I play it on a DVD player & TV I lose about 6 or 7 percent of the picture edges all the way round. I have tried it in 3 different DVD player/TV combinations with same results.
I have tried burning with VS itself & Nero - same results. It is relevant as the file is of still with text that goes very close to the edge.
Basically I do a lot of dog rescue/foster stuff and doing videos (even if they are slide shows) of the dogs really get adopted. I am "ok" at doing a normal slide show. Here's a link for one I have already done
But, I would like to "spice" them up a little. One thing someone suggested was doing a slide show, like above, but having multiple pictures on the screen at once. For instance a picture appears in the Upper left, then upper right, then lower left, then lower right. So there are 4 pictures that are on the screen at the same time, but appear at different times. Like if you were showing some one snapshots and setting them on a table, with some covering up others.
Is there a way to set the relative picture size of an overlay image in the preview window (picture in picture) to a presetted size and AR by default. My overlay pictures never have the original AR unless I select "original aspect ratio" every time.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI make Let's Play videos on youtube (Video game videos with commentary) and I have been using Corel VideoStudio Pro x4 for awhile. It was only recently that I decided to post a picture over the video and now I keep having the *An internal error occurred when overlapped buffer is full*.
So far, here is everything that I have in my library:
-19:09 (nineteen minutes and nine seconds) of videogame recording
-I have 4 pictures overlapping the video (all of them are PNG) I tried changing to GIF and JPG images to see if it would fix the error but it wasn't successful
-I have 7 points in the video where there is text (not sure if it really matters since I had no problem with text before) each of the text is near 5 seconds long for each
-There is 19:00 minutes of voice recording that is in MP3 format (I never had any problems with this format either) I can change it to a WAV file if it will stop the errors.
-Then there is also short audio clips that are 1 second long in 4 points in the video. It is a WAV file.
So basically I have these type of files- MPG (video). PNG (Images overlapping video). MP3 (voice recording) and WAV (short audio clips)
I am using a Windows 7 home premium operating system that is 64 bit (Acer laptop, Aspire) I got the video game recording from Pinnacle studio 12 HD premium using a Dazzle recorder. I got the voice recording from Audacity using a Blue Yeti USB microphone. And the images I got were on google then I used Paint.NET to merge them together, and the short audio recording I got from a Video Game recording and I used this program to extract the audio from the video.
I am using both Paint Shop Pro X3 & Video Studio X3. I'm putting together a slideshow and when I use Pan & Zoom to zoom on a particular subject (as a bee on a flower) after so much zoom the picture blurs. I have a very good camera and the photo remains sharp in Paint Shop Pro in extreme zoom. Is there a way to sharpen the image while zooming in Video Studio?
