I'm working on creating a disc menu in VS Pro X4. I've customized several parts of my menu (background, music, text, etc.), but I can't figure out how to change the little highlight icons that appear next to the selected menu options. Is it even possible to customize these?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm using X5Pro, and have just rendered a project that will be about 1.6Gb including menus. Because I will need to make several disks of the result, I used the create disk image (user guide p156) option in the last panel of the authoring process, rather than burn a disk directly. What I got in the specified folder was a small .iso control file and a winzip compressed archive.
First question: why do it like that? Extraction of that archive to the same folder as the .iso file yields a Video_TS folder containing a series of .bup, .ifo and .vob files.
I ran the iso file with an iso DVD burner program I have. Generally it works on whole .iso files - one humongous file that it breaks apart into the relevant items and burns the DVD in a playable way. As, for example, Mscrosoft's SP3 package for XP - distributed by download and in that format. The burn ISO program ran and it created something like 100kb on the DVD. Something is wrong here.
Second question: Since there isn't a tutorial on how to use this function on-line, is there a document available which describes the correct procedure to create a burned DVD from the created disk image generated by X5?
With one of my project files, when I try to create disc in VS Pro X4 only option DD-J is highlighted. When I try to select DVD or any of the other options, the project loads to 59% then the whole program freezes and the following dialogue box appears.
The program has encountered an unspecified error and has stopped functioning. Please contact Corel Technical Support and send the dump file for analysis.

When I click on OK I get the message that the program needs to close and it just shuts down. I am using Windows XP. I have 12 other project files that I can create to disc without any problem.

I have a Sony DvD Architect Studio and i would like to import these photoshop edited menu buttons in to some of my projects as the available buttons in Sony DvD Architect doesn't look appealing to me.

I upgraded from the old Video Studio 10 Plus to the Corel Pro 3X. I am now in the process of downloading all the Get More updates. While I am doing this, here is my Menu/Chapter problem.
1. I created the first video (part 1). I somehow have a main menu, and the the second menu has my chapters to select. Yay! I saved the menu to My Favorites. The DVD works great, a person can select a chapter to play,etc.
2. Now I am trying to create the second video (part 2). Somehow in My Favorites I have two menu templates from the first DVD I created. I have tried selecting each one and am trying to create a main menu, and then the second menu with 4 chapters. But each time I end up with 4 chapter menus, but I want the second menu to have the 4 chapters on it that you select a chapter thumbnail that your want to view.
I hate to start from scratch because I like the fonts, etc. from the first DVD, which is part 1.
I have been using AutoCAD 2006. Our company is switching to AutoCAD 2012 LT. I want to be able to add my custom toolbar buttons from the 2006 to the 2012 LT custom Ribbon Tabs & Panels. I have figured out how to make the custom ribbon, tab and panel. I just haven’t figured out what I need to do to get the old stuff to where I can add them to the panels.
I have custom 2006 buttons with and without flyouts.
I am struggling to make a custom movie template for sharing to a video file. I use the menu Setting, Make Movie Template Manager.What I want to make is:
- Compression: H.264
- Resolution: 800 x 480
- Audio: AAC Stereo
- Video bitrate: 1500
- Container: MPEG-4
But it seems I cannot use this X3 software for that. Especially the resolution, why the "custom" resolution is greyed out (disabled)?The reason for the above movie template is for playing on Android mobile phone.
how to place a 2 line text under a custom button.I tried to mimic some of the std button but it didn't work.
Attachment 1 is the std Tool Palette and User Interface buttons in the Manage Panels.
You can notice that the name is User Interface on the left and UserInterface on the right.
Attachment 2 is my button, on the left I CANNOT edit the name and on the right any changes automatically edit the left name.
At the end I would like my button the appears with one line: Extract and under Maint.
on my Photoshop cs3 some of the selections are highlighted with blue as shown by this picture
Before a few days ago those were highlighted purple. Is there ANY way that I could change those colors to my own choice or is it something to do with Photoshop or maybe my system preferences?
Can't read menu items, nor can I find a way in settings to make them lighter.

I would like to build my own menu with scripts that I use alot. This is a powerful feature that I use alot in other programs, but I have not seen any examples of this in illustrator.
Before in CS5 when you click an option, the text would turn white, now they stay black making them hard to see. It seems to be desktop appearance specific so if I change my desktop theme the background color would change making the black text easier to see (text stays black). This seems like a bug, because the highlited text color should turn to white not stay black. Which was how it was in CS5.

DVD menu buttons that look good requires image mask overlays and/or manipulating image and color attributes.
Bottom line question: Does Paint.net have all of the tools needed to create DVD menu buttons, and are there tutorials that explain how-to?
When I attempt to apply the disc menu to my video project it never actually applies it to the timeline.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm on CS5. I have a photo, and I want to highlight the central portion of this using a custom shape - let's say a star. When I do this I can work with the shape.
I don't want to work with the shape, I want it to be there, but the image inside the shape I want to remain visible. Then round the edges of the shape I want to add borders (?Stroke) of colors selected from the image. Obviously I don't want to hand draw the shape because I won't make it symmetrical.
So, once I've chosen my shape, how can I work outside the shape, whilst still retaining visibility inside the shape?
Can we place a custom menu and commands in Adobe Illustrator and invoke custom actions? The need for us is to call a C# DLL from these menu commands. I see C++ support but none on COM or NET support.

I cannot figure out the command line alias for "Text Height" to enter it into the macro.
I have tried the "scaletext" command but I cannot figure out how to add this command to the "Chprop" command on the macro line. The command seems to stop before performing both actions. What am I missing? Here is the button macro so far ^C^Cchprop;la;GasAban;c;g;;scaletext;c;s;12;;
My mouse has a lot of extra buttons on it, and I've set up Maya to open different marking menus when using those buttons. In order to use those marking menus, I have to hold down the extra button and then left-click. Is there a way I can set up the marking menus to open without left-clicking?

Here is what I am referring to. I would like to be able to add a menu below a menu.
I wish to report a bug that has been present in x4 and x5 regardless of SP or updates installed. Due to this bug I use X3 as it was the last version that worked for me.
The bug is that several menu buttons on the Edit screen will not display correctly, it is as if the icon is corrupted. This happens with the free trial version as well as with a registered version with updates installed.

When I make any changes to my custom toolbars, every custom toolbar that I have made will appear on the drawing after I click apply and OK. Then I have to go through and X out about 100 toolbars. I would like to be able to turn all of the custom toolbars off at one time. Then only turn on the ones that I want to use.

The probem is that in 2006 I had drop down buttons to save toolbar space. I want to be able to add the drop down button feature to my new panel. I do not see how to create that type of button, so I can add the regular buttons to it and have one drop down button with those commands in it.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to create some nice graphics for a company website in CS3. I want to make buttons for links that have special effects when you roll over them with the mouse, click on them, etc. (I'm using Dreamweaver CS3 to put the site together). I have looked for tutorials on how to put the special link buttons together, but they all use ImageReady, which I don't have in Photoshop CS3. Any suggestions for where to go to find a good tutorial, or better still, anybody know how to make these buttons work?

They will not want to load a script so a custom button is required. Also, I need to be able to dynamically set the new saved file name based on the source DWG file name.
