I'm attempting to import a clip that runs 2:25 into the library of Video Studio 12 and, although it runs full length when viewed outside of the program, it is limited to 1:11 once I import it into the clip library. It cuts off the second half of the video. The file is a .3gpp from a mobile device and plays fine in Video Studio, it just won't load the full video for some reason.
View 4 RepliesI am using Videostudio 12 and have run into a problem when i try to import *.mp4 clips into the library, and for some reason these clips are being cut to 1 or 2 seconds long.
How i imported them was: Clicked "load video" right above the library box selected the videos i wanted to put in, and then imported them. Does it make a difference that i imported multiple files at once?

Video type: H.264 Main Profile video
total frames:317
Attributes:24 bits, 1280x720, 16:9
frame rate: 59.94 fps
Data rate:16000 kbps
I shoot vacation video with out tripod and at the beginning of each clip, I have shaky video because of pressing the record button.Same apply to end of the clip when I stop the recording.
How can I trim beginning and end of the clip for first one second length?
I have Video Studio X5 and the video format is AVCHD (Canon HF S200).
I know how to add a clip to the library. But when I select more than one clip/media, than the system asks me to change the frames order.
How can I add several clips/media at once to my library?

View 5 Replies View RelatedUsing LR4.4 on Windows7 64-bit Pro, and I am new to video. I shot a 1 minute segment and used the tools in Lightroom to trim that to about 16 seconds. I made no other changes in QuickDevelop. Then I exported to a location on my hard drive, specifying "Original" in the format choice.
The file that emerged was the full 1 minute length when inserted in ProShow Gold and ran the full clip as shot.
I have looked over the video tools documentation and it seems to confirm that length is a parameter of export. Why the file that exported retained the original length?
When I select a clip, it then goes to the start of the clip, how can I sop this happening and the clip stays in the same position when selected.

I am trying to import that filestructure to Lightroom, but after some thousand fotos the import-process just stops. Lightroom is still usable, the "import-progress-bar" shows the correct value (something below 50%) but import action is frozen.
I can shutdown the program and them try to restart them import, but it does not work.
When I then try to import the fotos "year by year" then it also has the same behaviour after some time...
Seems to me quite a bug for the sake of a photo-management-tool?
Whenever I Output a shapefile it shortens the name of my attributes. I am using the Map 3d Export, i selected my objects, then select Data tab and select my block, and click ok. Then when i go to load the shapefiles into the database it has shortend the name of my attributes.

The time markers in Audacity are slightly off than they are in After Effects so my timing is all off.
Also, when Im scrubbing in AE, the time stamp jumps from 1;29 to 2;00. This is the only location where it does this (that I know of so far)
Ive tried different file types and frame rates and RAM preview settings and I have no idea where the discrepancy is.
I am just starting to use Photoshop Elements 12 Organizer. I do not want to import my entire iPhoto library however, so how can I import ONLY ONE or a select group of events or albums?

When I click on Import and I choose a folder I do see all the pictures of that folder in the middle of the page,,But The Tabs such as Library ,Develop, and other Tabs disappear. I am watching a Video Tutorial and I think I am doing some thing wrong.
After selecting "interpreting footage" in after effects after importing my video clip (the clip shows 24.999 fps) i change it to 25fps and it starts working. It took me a while to figure out why my clips werent matching with my seperate audio, there was missing clips. My footages i import are 30 minutes and after i interpret my footage, it gets shortened to 22 minutes. I am using Windows 7 and AE 5.5.

I'm looking for a way to import this information to create a custom Color Swatch Library. That will have the name of the color and the CMYK breakdown. View 7 Replies View RelatedI just downloaded the videostudio X6 trial version. For some reasons, some sequences from mpg clips I added to my project seems to be repeating itself for no reason. The bug occurs within a unique sequence and might change the "restart" position while the timeline cursor.
Ex: Original video = Cow cross the road, a car hit the cow then the car explode and finaly a generic
After importing the original video = Cow cross the road, a car hit the cow then the car explode, then the car hit the cow a second time
If I move the cursor right to left a couple of time, it might end up missing the first part of the clip where the cow is suppose to cross the road (replaced by a second car exploding)
It's a single clip and the final display is changing even if I don'T touch anything. I use to be a Ulead video studio user and I never had such problem.
I've been doing a project using two different cameras, I've done some of it and saved as a .mpg without a problem.Now for some reason I cannot use the split clip tool it is greyed out all the time no mater how I have the clip in the timeline be it set to clip or project.
I made one cut to align two clips now nothing..As I say I've completed three parts of the project without a problem using the split clip tool.
Working with a 1080p/60fps mp4 file from my GoPro 3. Trying to save a trimmed clip using "same as first video clip" option. Everything seems to work fine but the saved clip plays for a second and then the video freezes but the audio continues. This happens playing the clip with WMP and VSx6. The original untrimmed mp4 plays fine.
View 14 Replies View RelatedI have problem with the file created by Corel. It shows that length of the file is 5min. However, actually it is about 15-20min. When I am running it with VLC media player it shows all the stream ignoring the length. For now, it is the only one player I found that can do it. When I put this file in Corel it shows only 5min and it looks like it skip most of it. Shows the beginning and the end of the file.
Is there any way to change the file that Corel could read it as is, ignoring the length.
I have a video clip from you tube that when I load it into VS it only recognizes 2:20 minutes vs. 2:50 minutes that shows in windows media player. Why doesn't it recognize the full length?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI use audacity to record audio from my microphone. Everything was working fine, until I changed some settings for my sound card. Nothing was changed for audacity or X3.
However, the length of my file in audacity (and in iTunes) is 33:08... but in X3 it imported as 33:34. I was so confused the first time that I re-did everything... and I have the exact same issue the 2nd time around. Since the length is fine in audacity and iTunes, it has to be an issue with X3 importing it.
The file is an mp3, 128kbps, 44100 Hz, stereo.
How can I make a white colour clip the same shade as the white vignette filter.I want to place overlayed images with a vignette onto a white clip on the main video track so that they blend seemlessly in X5.
