I have a client requesting project documentation in two languages. Multiple languages are now becoming a standard practice for client reviews and approvals. We are using Revit base platforms (Arch, Structural, and MEP) for all disciplines. Is there an English translation into other languages?

I have a german version of CS4.
Trying to set up a datamerge file to create multi page spread documents with fields on different pages. Attempting to set it up so it's as automated as possible as there are up to 20 different merge documents needing to merge with up to 100 different csv records from the same file each week . The merge documents have different and repeated merge fields on most pages.
I've set it up so that the document has facing pages, and most pages have images spread across the whole of the spread. the pages preview fine, they are created ok when using 'Create Merged Document' although the page numbers continue from one document to another (another problem). but when I come to export to pdf, then the merge only shows the image on the left spread but on both left and right spread single pages, and the page numbers don't show the correct page numbers eg it will go p1 p2 p1 p2 etc all the way through the document instead of p1 p2 p3 - p20 etc. I don't want to have to merge first then pdf but can't understand why the images and page numbers are not showing correctly.
I followed the instructions in the below link where I changed the Langue settings manually in Notepad.

But when I open Revit after this change, I get an error message and says the licence I have in not valid and I can only use the software as a trial version. When I change back the language setting to German, this problem goes away.
Is there another way to change the language setting for Revit?
I just recently noticed that when I print documents from Revit Architecture, they are printing smaller than the scale size they are set to. I verified with a couple of different scale settings against a good old fashioned scale ruler. It seems to be consistently incorrect.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Multi-Category Schedule and using certain fields it shows me Furniture, Toilet Assoc., Plumbing Fixturers, etc. All I want the Schedule to show is Furniture and Furniture Systems together in one schedule. When going to the Filter I choose Category>Equals>Furniture Systems and Category>Equals>Furniture. Assuming that the schdule would filter out everything else and only show items from the Furniture Systems Category and the Furniture Category. Instead it shows me nothing, eveything disappears. Its as if it is looking for a Catgory that is botn Furnitue Sysems and Furiture as one. I can do each Category individualy and its fine but I can't Filter by both? How can I get this scheudle to just show me Furniture and Funiture Systems? is their an update to correct a bug in the software that will fix this?

I do have a Keynote family that can accomplish this but I cannot find the same for the multi-category tag. And I cannot find a way to make my Keynote tag a multi-category tag.
Is there a way to combine several multi-category schedules, so that the calulation of the total cost can be displayed in one final schedule?

Some of these items cannot be found online or in the revit library (such as a spectrophotometer). So I created a mass and identified type marks for these items. However, I cannot seem to get the mass items to show on the multi-category schedule. Is there a way to do this or another way to create a schedule that includes mass and equipment?

I am working on a project with Split Levels like a Multi-level CarPark. I need to produce plans by combining two Levels which are at 3M height difference.
While using Plan Region, Some of the walls dont show as cut, though their height is more & above the Cut Plane Level.

I've placed the Multi-Segmented Grids in my large project that requires (6) dependent views per floor plan. In each of the dependent views, I'm trying to get the grid markers to show at the ends that ~I~ want them to show, but I'm not getting the checkbox.
Is this by design? Or is it a bug?
Currrently, we print floor plans to pdf's, open them in Photoshop and make them part transparent and part semi-transparent so that we can overlay them in various visual tools. Is there a way to create pdf's or images where the background is completely transparent and and solid patterns within the floor plan that are semi-transparent?

I have purchased this program from the physical person, and this is a German version. The documentation, package and the instruction are published in English, that is why I thought that this program is English version as well.
My question is: if I can install English version from different source using my original key?
Does my original key contains all language versions of PS7.0 or just the German version?
I have registered my key on the Adobe website, and there is no information that it works only with the German version.

But why on CD I have German version?
I bought a used computer from someone so I am not sure what was previously on his computer. I downloaded the trial version of Photoshop CS form CNET. After install the language was in Italian. Uninstalling and re-installing does not help. I am thinking that there must be a registry entry somewhere but I cannot find it.

But when I use the font (example Baraha), the characters are all garbled. I even tried copy/paste from Word, but that does not work.

I have downloaded and installed the tamil fonts and wrote it using a unicode software.
