I bought a used computer from someone so I am not sure what was previously on his computer. I downloaded the trial version of Photoshop CS form CNET. After install the language was in Italian. Uninstalling and re-installing does not help. I am thinking that there must be a registry entry somewhere but I cannot find it.
I turn to you with the question regarding Photoshop 7.0.
I have purchased this program from the physical person, and this is a German version. The documentation, package and the instruction are published in English, that is why I thought that this program is English version as well.
My question is: if I can install English version from different source using my original key?
Does my original key contains all language versions of PS7.0 or just the German version?
I have registered my key on the Adobe website, and there is no information that it works only with the German version.
I know, that PS7.0 is not supported,
On my back cover of CD is stickers with this info: PHSP,7.0,RET,IE... and then number. IE means International English?
I just bought PS CS6 on suscribtion, and everything turned out as it should - except from the language. I'm from Denmark, and somehow it automatically installed PS in danish. But... I want it in english. How can I correct this?
I installed CS6 via download and it is not the English version (I think it's Italian). There was no prompt to choose a language during the installation. How do I get the English version?
I used Photoshop CS 3 Extended and having trouble with foreign language fonts.  I have all the South Asian fonts installed which also shows up in my PS. But when I use the font (example Baraha), the characters are all garbled. I even tried copy/paste from Word, but that does not work.  How can I use the Baraha and also display correctly in my image ? Â
I'm facing a problem in writing in languages other than English in Photoshop. I'm trying to write in an Indian language Tamil (which is upported by Google also). I have downloaded and installed the tamil fonts and wrote it using a unicode software. It seems to be fine when i type in applications such as word and all.. but when i write or paste those into photoshop, the letters seems to be wrongly placed.
after the second try of getting the trial version, it was in french, which means that i dont have a clue how to use it. does anyone know how to change the language in photoshop, because i realy dont want to have to download it again!
Ok, I have "English: UK" set as my interface language, yet I don't see any actual UK spelling anywhere whatsoever.
Every single mention of "Color" is not spelled as "Colour", "Gray" when it should be "Grey", "Fibers" -> "Fibres", and most likely others I haven't spotted yet.
So what is the point of having the UK language option if it's exactly the same as the US one? Call me picky, but I did choose UK for a reason. It would have been nice to see the correct spelling being used for the language I chose.
I have Photoshop CS3, and when I try to type with the foreign fonts installed on my computer, I either see regular english letters or lines or rectangles. I have downloaded the latest patch, and have also deleted the preference file by hitting ctrl, alt, shift during setup. I am still experiencing the same problem with the fonts!
I just installed the trial version of Photoshop CC and it installed the Italian version (same as my OS language) for the PS interface. Is there a resource to download and install the English version for the interface and all menus? I really don't feel good using it in Italian (all tutorials allover the web are made on PS in English).
I am installing the programs on my new 64 bits computer , which runs windows 8 in a language which is not english. At the very beginning of the setup I noticed that it detected the language of sist. op. and that it would install cs6 in such language.Â
If I install cs6 I will have all menus , tools and resources in other language and it will be very cumbersome to work with it.Perhaps with the best of the intention to make people feel comfortable with their own language you have made it this way.But there are several other guys like me that want it IN ENGLISH. As a long time user of photoshop I never worked in other language than english and I will never do it.
It looks like it is a new trend to detect the op sistem language , I have had the same problem with Nero Platinum 12 , and others. Is there a way to install Cs6 in English ?
I installed the "Adobe Creative Cloud" tool.I change my language to "Deutsch" (German). Then I installed Photoshop CC. I checked Edit -> Preferences -> Interface -> UI Language. But there is no other option then English. Â Is there any German version available? How can I get that? Is this issue caused by Windows 7 system language: English?
I was using Adobe Application Manager and for some reason it was stuck downloading Dutch versions of the software. I downloaded and used the fix-it patch for AAM and that worked for me download English versions of all the Creative Cloud apps. How do I uninstall the Dutch version of Photoshop CS6?
I'm a first time user . We purchase Photoshop CS6 for our comnpany here in China. The Version is English / China so I can discuss we my china collegues. But my mother tougue is german and i have some problems to understand the english technicall terms. To learn more I buy the book from Robert Klassen in German language. It's posible to get a germam language packes to install ?  How can I download it or must I buy it?
I have Win XP SP3 all updates applied. Minimal services running. No software firewall. Everything installed just fine from Production Premium CS4 EXCEPT Photoshop. Error shown in subject line of this post is issued by installer.
Photoshop won't boot stating it is missing files from it's folder.
I just indentified over 20,000 files that Adobe installs (CS3, Lightroom,Elements & Premiere Elements) for various languages This gives me the following drawbacks occupes disks spaceslows down virus scansslows down malware scansslows down back-upsslows down my disk imagingincreases disk wear and tearclogs up the system so that indexing screen refreshes etc takes longerlots of small size files have significantly more impact on speed etc than large files. I only use English, I will NEVER install any other language. Can I not delete these files (they should not have been installed in the first place, but I'm assuming Adobe will not change this). I did see one previous question on this but it was unanswered. The sheer scale (something approaching 20% of the total files on my PC) are occupied by what appears to be completely un-necessary files.
How do you type a foreign language (with special characters) using the type tool? How do you access foreign language characters? Is this something I can easily do with Photoshop 7? Or do I need to have some other element on my computer? Like another language keyboard layout?
