May 21, 2013I have several multi-page X6 documents, all with the same layout (chapters of a booklet), which I would like to combine into one document. Is there an easy way to do this?

InDesign :: Setup Datamerge File To Create Multi Page Spread Documents With Fields On Different Page
Apr 1, 2014Trying to set up a datamerge file to create multi page spread documents with fields on different pages. Attempting to set it up so it's as automated as possible as there are up to 20 different merge documents needing to merge with up to 100 different csv records from the same file each week . The merge documents have different and repeated merge fields on most pages.
I've set it up so that the document has facing pages, and most pages have images spread across the whole of the spread. the pages preview fine, they are created ok when using 'Create Merged Document' although the page numbers continue from one document to another (another problem). but when I come to export to pdf, then the merge only shows the image on the left spread but on both left and right spread single pages, and the page numbers don't show the correct page numbers eg it will go p1 p2 p1 p2 etc all the way through the document instead of p1 p2 p3 - p20 etc. I don't want to have to merge first then pdf but can't understand why the images and page numbers are not showing correctly.

If I use a label type approach some rows have less data making the layout uneven (unsuitable for the project)
Is there a way to merge with a fluid result ?
Ie row one takes up 2 lines Row 2 takes up 5 lines Row 3 takes up 1 line etc

Oct 16, 2010I quite often need a separate ruler scale on each page of a multi-page document. The only way I know how to do this is to create a separate document for each drawing that requires a new scale.
I request that you add the ability to change the ruler scale on a per page basis within a single multi-page document.
I am using CDR X5 SP1.

Apr 21, 2011When working on a document with facing pages, with previous versions of CorelDraw htting the page up or page down keys on the keyboard would change to the next set of pages.
With Draw X5, you have to hit page up or page down twice to switch to the next set of pages.
Not a huge deal to hit it twice now, but is there a way to set X5 to the previous behavior where with facing pages one page down would take you from page set 1-2 to 3-4?

Oct 10, 2013I have a multi page document that has twice the size I originally I thought it would so have decided to split it. What is the best way to do this?
I can only think of copy and paste each individual page into a new doc but if there is another way to chose multi pages by the tabs at the bottom.

Sep 30, 2013When importing a multi-page pdf or ps file into a multi-page document, sometimes the inserted pages will all have their Document Grid layer visibility turned on, even when the existing pages in the document all have it turned off.
If I bring up the object manager, I can go through the affected pages and 'un-eye' them one page at a time. But it's a blooming nuisance, especially when importing dozens of pages at once.

I want to center this group on the page but as soon as the background layer is selected, each photo piles onto each other with a mind of its own. Tried everything I know (which isn't really very much). It will work if I merge the group, but I don't want to do that.. I am using Elements 12 with Windows 8.1.

May 6, 2013We received a jpg file that seems to gave 2 pages when you view it in Bridge.
When we open the file in Photoshop or link it in Indesign or Illustrator we only see the 1st page or view of the file.
I was very surprised to see this in Bridge, as far as I know it is not possible to even make a multi page jpg file.

Dec 19, 2012I am using AutoCAD LT 2009. I have AcrobatPro installed on my machine as well.
I seem to have lost my ability to publish a a bunch of dwg files and have one PDF file as the output. It used to work fine...I would hit publish, add all my dwgs (all model tabs), configure all page setups to be one of my Adobe PDF options (I have few configured, one for color, gray, B&W, etc), hit the publish button and then adobe would be prompt me for a file name, and then voila - I have one multi-page PDF of my drawing set.
Where it got lost and what happened, I don't know. As for trying to fix it, I have tried everything below, but nothing that gets me back to where I was:
1. Tried using the built-in "DWG to PDF." At best, this will automatically generate a PDF for each drawing without any input from me. I then used Adobe to combine all the drawings into one file. I could live with this, however, the resolution of the PDF's is not enough. I even tried changing the resolution setting to 1200dpi...stills comes out bad.
2. Using the "Adobe PDF." I get prompted by adobe for a filename for each dwg. This is very tedious. However, the output files look nice and much better resolution than #1.
3. There seem to be a lot of mention in hte forums to a system variable PUBLISHCOLLATE. This does not exist in my list of system variables (maybe because I am using LT). I tried setenv command to create the variable and toggle it from 0 to 1...this does not affect anything.
4. Within the Publish Dialogue - There is no mention of PDF anywhere. My only options for 'Publish to' are 'Plotter named in the setup' or 'DWF'. Within the Publish Options, nothing related to PDF...only options for DWF. I have tried changing these anyway, not affect.
5. Toying the pc3 - I tried changing some settings with PC3 file (Adobe PDF and DWG to PDF)...nothing fixed the problem. I tried setting collate from NONE to REGULAR, tried changing port to AUTOSPOOL, PLOT TO FILE, PLOT TO THE FOLLOWING PORT...nothing worked.

GIMP :: Filled Rectangle And Multi-page TIFFs
Mar 5, 2013I'm coming from paint.net, which is bloating tif images to the extreme......I work on tif's for work (engineering revisions) as well as multi-page tifs.Needless to say, I need to get up to speed on Gimp as fast as possible, as work places don't like a learning curve The image editor used by others is atrocious.
I see the Gimp will open multi-page tifs, but how do I save them back as multi-page? Or is this not possible?
And how do I go about drawing a filled rectangle? A good deal of my work is digitally "whiting out" things on technical drawings. I see the brush tool, but not a filled rectangle.

Nov 30, 2012My Windows 7 PC does have CS5 installed. I also have a full Office 2010.
I've got 32 TIF files, each the page of a comic book. i want to crete a 32 page PDF file. Turning one tiff into one PDF in Photoshop is easy. But two or more into a single pdf document... I don't see how.
I went to some other forums and was called 'stupid', 'lazy' etc. and am very frustarted at this. I simply cannot spend any more time researching because I have wasted days doing just that.

Nov 19, 2012I am creating printable PDF files and up to yesterday I was using a free trial of PSE 10. To create a multi page document I first saved it as a PSE project file, then added blank pages, then when I was done I saved it as a PDF and voila - done!
Now my trial has run out I have bought the paid version (which is now version 11) and I seem to have lost that option entirely. The product is useless to me without a way to create multi page PDFs
Alternatively can I downgrade back to PSE10 which was fine for me!
Lightroom :: Printing Identity Plate On Multi-image Page?
Feb 19, 2007According to the Help for Lightroom V1.0, I can choose to print my identity plate on each image on the page:
>To have the identity plate appear on every photo in a multiphoto template, select Render On Every Image. The identity plate is centered on each photo and can be moved, scaled, or rotated using the controls in the Overlays panel.
I can move the ID if it is rendered only on one image.
I cannot figure out how to move the ID plate once I have clicked "render on every image." It seems to be fixed in the center of each image.
InDesign :: CC Data Merge Multi Records Shift Off PAGE?
Feb 25, 2014When I do a data merge and select multi records it shift them way off the page. The only time it does the multi page correctly is when I use the default page size (8.5x11). This happens whether I preview it or export it with out the preview. Is there a patch coming out for this or asome setting I am missing? My CS5 did not have this issue.

Jan 10, 2013I am a Graphic Designer for a print shop and we just had a large document printed that looked to be in black and white but must have been in color somewhere (gray boxes) and used more clicks on the printer than we wanted. I'm wondering if there is a quick way to check a document like this in CS5 programs to see if it is truly in black and white or if there is something in there that is RGB or CMYK.
